Enos sighe "Calm down Boss we came to tell you that somebody is after Daisy and Cherry." "Well who is Cherry?" Boss demanded obviously he was in a bad mood. -
Roscoe sat down beside Daisy "What's with the sorrow? Oh and here's Lady of course and her sister. . .well what do you think her name should be?"

"What are you doing?!" Boss demanded

Just then Roscoe showed up, two little girl puppies were in his arms "Hey I heard about Enos and. . .well I think these two are old enough to help Enos and Andrew."

Soon they were at the station and Enos took Daisy and Cherry in to where Boss and Roscoe were.

Luke nodded "From what we heard she's on a thread. . .not really . . .you know."

Both of them sat on the couch opposite them and both had solemn looks on their faces "Daisy what happend?" Bo asked.

Daisy nodded "Let's go out to your squad car and go up to the station. . .no way am I staying here alone."

Elly hugged her crying a little herself while giving Jed a look that said she wasn't sure that was smart of her to say. It wasn't long before Bo and Luke showed up themselves.

However, Daisy picked up on his thought "I know this is stupid, but I was hoping Roscoe could help you look out for me and Cherry."

Elly nodded and gave Daisy a hug "Yeah. . .least I did have Pa. . .you didn't have either of yours."

"Maybe we should go and see Roscoe." Daisy suggested.

Elly looked up "You had them for six years though. . .didn't you. . .I NEVER had mine. . .she died when I was a few days old."

Jed held her close "It's okay Daisy. . .we'll get through it. . .you me and Elly. . .be the hardest for Elly I think though. I know I lost her ma but Granny to her was the only Ma she knew.

"Well what now?" Daisy asked.

Jed nodded understanding "I know honey."

Daisy smiled "Enos we've both had our mistakes, but I suppose it's obvious now more than ever what we mean to eachother.

Jed looked down at her "I thought you said that Boss was so terrible and everything. . .can't see why loosing him bothers you so much."

Daisy laughed slighty "Enos. That was so brave what you did with LD. . .I still can't imagin what possessed me. . .oh yeah I do. . .I was just missing you so much I wanted someone and something in me got carried away, but that's all over now."

Doc and Jed did their best to comfort her and Elly as they both knew how much Granny meant to them.

Doc sighed fidgiting "Well. . .Daisy I'd be lying if I said she had more than a 10% chance, but you never know what miracles will happen."

When Daisy was finished she looked Enos deep in his eyes "You do know you're my dixie darlin' don't you?"

They waited outside of the emergency room for what seemed forever when finally Doc came over. "What's wrong with Granny?" Daisy asked.

Daisy smiled and started singing the words to 'My Dixie Darling', which was what she had been humming.

Jed drove the truck and the three of them followed Doc to the hospital. (okay I might be back, but I have homework to do.)
