Jesse smiled patting Enos on the back "Yeah, I think Daisy could relate."

Lily nodded "That one." (Know funny fact my great grandma (my moms grandma) her favorite was How Great Thou Art. . .my fav is Awesome God. . .leas one of them. . .and We Wanna See Jesus lifted High.)

Lily nodded "Yeah. . .could you sing me that song I really love. . .um. . .I forget the name, but that one we sing at church sometimes"

Jesse smiled "Enos. . .Daisy loves ya no matter what. . .I can tell. . .from everything she does with ya." (I know. . .It's cause of elections for our govenor)

Lily nodded "That's what I mean. . .I'd probably be dead if I was still with my other parents. . .you and daddy brought me to church and loved me and a lot of things that I didn't get."

Bo, who was up there with her smiled "Naw. . .it ain't that Daisy. . .he's just nervous. He don't want to mess up." Daisy sighed. Back in the kitchen Jesse came in "Ya wanted to talk to me Enos?" (I'm bout to go in a bit, but anyway. . .I don't have school tomorrow so I can chat a little before you go to school)

Lily thought for a minute "Where I Come From" she sighed "I just am thinking about that right now. . .where I came from."

Enos smiled "Thanks Luke. . .If you'd get Uncle Jesse to talk to me I think I'd feel a lot better."

Lily relaxed a bit "Mama could you sing me a song?" she asked (thanks. . .yours was cool too)

Enos looked shocked "NO! no no no. Luke, it's complicated."

Enos nodded "Well that's all she has to love me for really."

"I don't rember." Lily said "But I kNOW it was me."

Enos shook his head "If you say so Luke. . .I know Daisy loves me, but I know it ain't cause I'm strong and able to protect her. . .I sure ain't brave."

"It was mine." Lily insisted "I did it all wrong and. . .It shouldn't have happend."

Agreeing to that Min. . .last weekend I rode my bike for 40 minutes saturday and sunday and somehow I lost two pounds. . .like where did that happen?

Enos sighed "Well. . .I reckon the fact that I ain't protecting Daisy as well as I should."

Enos shrugged "I reckon Luke. . .Daisy went to her room. . .guess I'm eating by myself."

Lilly looked up at her, she was wrapped in bandages all over and Daisy could tell she was out of it, but she slowly turned her head "Hey Mama."
