Then the two of them go back into the house for breakfast.

Daisy: *takes Dale over to where the rocker was and sat down to calm him* Jesse: Luke what is your problem?

Jesse: Wanna help me with the chores?

Jesse: Luke! Leave your cousins alone. *Dale starts cryin now*

Elly: I'd like to get my hands on Luke. He ought to stay outta your way.

Bo: I went down a while ago and he caught my eye. . .I love him even if Luke. . . well you know.

Daisy: I ain't disagreeing with you there.

Daisy: *chuckles* He ain't ours Enos . . .he's Bo's.

Bo: Y'all I'd like you to meet the newest member of our family Dale Jacob Duke.

Elly: Love 'em I reckon.

Jesse: morning.

Jesse goes out to call the boys in while Daisy and Bo sit down at the table.

Elly: Daisy, what are we gonna do with our men? They're both so sweet and all.

Granny: *looks at them confused* I suppose. Well anyway, you young'uns ready for lunch?

Elly: Much as I do Cooter.

The next morning Jesse woke up and went out to do his chores before school.

Bo: Well you see. . .something happend to his parents Granny. I'm gonna raise him.

Granny: He ain't got a mama? *Jesse and Daisy stare at eachother* (Granny really don't know how these things work. Some guy actually adopted a son on BH and she was so confused about how they got that baby)

Enos: *nods* Just wait till I get outta here then I'll take you for dinner. Daisy: Okay *Elly and Daisy take Dixie back to the Duke farm*

Jesse: Neither do I. Reckon we ought to go on back home now. Come on I'll walk you.

Jesse: *smiles as well as Granny when they turn around to see Daisy and Bo with Dale*

Enos: Daisy . . .if it's all right with you I think I'm gonna take a nap.

Jesse: No. . .for some reason I have a feeling that when he comes back it won't be for me. Why would he come and bother me a couple nights after I ask you to marry me?

Enos: Daisy. . .*Takes her hand and kisses it* I love you till I die. Elly: *smiles*

Bo: *nods and the two of them walk into the house where Uncle Jesse was already making lunch.*
