Elly: One she really likes lately is that new one called Blessed the Broken Road.

Daisy: Andrew, you have no idea what all this is doing to me. The things I do to your daddy. He don't deserve it.

Enos: I forgive you. He's over with his sisters and cousins.

Elly: One she likes. Really can't name too many she don't.

(poor Enos) Enos: *nervously* Yes, Daisy. He's fine. He was fine when Luke called me.

Elly: What you sing to her?

Enos: *nervously* Andrew had another reaction last night.

Elly: Wonderful. I think we'd make a pretty good duo. How's Jenny?

Denise: Well, since she's been through all this I won't tell her, but what am I supposed to tell her?

Denise: Well, Daisy's worried anyway. Y'all will have to tell her.

Denise: Okay. . .Luke, why didn't you tell me about this?

(that's bad) Denise: Luke? Bo: Go on y'all

(oh) Denise: Well? Daisy's awful worried about whatever it is.

So Cooter drover her back to the farm. The two of them kissed good night and Elly went back inside.

Jesse hugged her and soon the two of them were out of school forever.

Jesse: I know you get sad thinking about them, but it's all right. . .they were good people Daisy.

Daisy: What do you mean?

Denise walks over to the boys Denise: Enos, I need to talk to you. . .Daisy, is worried about something you wouldn't tell her last night. She has a feeling it's bad, but you won't tell her.

Elly: Well, I reckon we ought to get back. Jenny's gonna want to be tucked in.

Denise: I'd be glad to.

Denise: I understand. . .maybe I could talk to him for you?

Elly: Cooter. You have no idea how much fun I have with you.

Denise: I can tell something ain't right and I ain't gonna stop until you tell me what it is.

Denise: *sighs* Daisy.

Denise: Daisy, I can tell that it is.
