Lily: Like Grandpa?

Luke came in and sat on the floor near her bed. Luke: Daisy can I talk to you?

Lily looked down at Jesse Lily: Well. . .I guess another brother ain't so bad.

Luke, despite his better judgement goes to the door

The kids move slowly toward the house

Lily: *sighs and looks at Jesse* Another one for me to look after. . .why do I have to be the oldest?

They were all quiet on the way back to the farm.

Jesse: Well. . .I guess we'll head on home.

Lily: What's goin on mana? Cooter sets her on the bed beside Daisy and Jesse.

Jesse: That's beautiful baby. Anything else you three have to say or do?

Daisy: *smiles at Enos* Just then Cooter comes in with Lily.

Jesse: Found the words Daisy?

Enos: Yeah. Daisy: I wonder what Uncle Jesse's thinking looking down on us?

Jesse: I understand baby. Boys?

Enos: Well . . .maybe, but he's got your eyes. . .he looks a lot like Uncle Jesse. . .except for his hair

After staning for a while after it's over Jesse wraps an arm around Daisy as she stares Jesse: Any last things you kids want to say to her?

Granny: I may have married him honey, but he will. . .I can tell. . .never mean as much to me as he did you.

Soon the four of them are out by where their aunt is to be burried.

Daisy: Yes. . .Jesse Lee Strate the second. . .well I guess it would be. . .since Uncle Jesse was a duke. . .I don't know. Granny: Well . . .I can still see how much your Uncle meant to you.

Luke: That's why I said when you're older. Jesse: Bo. . .I ain't excusing Daisy . . .well kind of. . .if you were acting like she was I'd excuse you too under circumstances.

Enos: *nodds taking his son into his arms* What are we going to name him? Daisy: *looks down for a second and then gently strokes her son's face* Jesse Lee Strate. . .after Uncle Jesse.

Luke: *Gave his younger cousin a look* Bo: Well? Luke: You'll understand someday.

Soon Daisy had brought their newest little one into the world and strangely Enos hadn't fainted this time and was there with her the whole time.

Bo: You mean showing it more. . .we're hurting just as much as she is.

Daisy: I'm so glad you're here Enos. . .you have no idea. . .our fifth little one.
