Lily: *smiles* Good thing I'm here to think of that mama. . .well where were we going?

Soon it was time for Daisy's party.

Lily: Shopping? What about the babies?

Jesse: *smiles* It will be a new experience for us whatever happens. . .but I guess you're right. . .it'll be hard, but we'll get through it. (Not sure, but I really think Uncle jesse wants the baby to stay on the farm)

Lily: Okay. . .well anyway.

Jesse: About what baby?

Lily: Really? For what?

Jesse: Daisy. . .If you really want to give it up. . .I won't stop you. . .All I'm saying is that. . .I don't know. . .Just the thought of another kid in the orphanage. . .course then you could visit it whenever you wanted. . .maybe it will understand one day. . .Not t scare you, but it might be easier for Hughie to do something to it if . . .just some things to think about. . .not that I should have probably brought it up.

Lily: *nods* What we doing today?

Jesse: If that's how you feel Daisy. . .I will respect that. . .But you do know that me and the boys will be there for you if you change your mind right?

Lily: *starting to cry* Yes mama. . .I just wanted to make sure you came home.

Jesse: You know. . .I know I ain't supposed to tell, but um. . .the boys got you some books to read. . .Hope that would make you feel better. . .Just don't want you to feel so alone because you're not.

Lily: *looks down* Yes mama. . .he did. . .am I in trouble?

Jesse: Oh. . .I see. . .cause you don't feel like it. . .am I right? Well. . .the boys figured taht since we were having a party for you this after noon that we'd invite Enos and his parents. . .how bout that?

Lily: *nods and soon the two of them are eating breakfast*

Jesse: Why not? Why do you think that?

Lily: Okay. . .

Jesse: What's wrong baby?

Daisy sits down and starts eating Bo and Luke are outside.

Lily: Hey mama. . .why were you gone so long last night?

They both go on to sleep and soon it is the next morning.

Jesse: Well. . .that's their problem. . .they don't know you like Enos does. . .come on. . .I got breakfast all ready for you.

Enos: *nods* Yeah. . .I know. . .I reckon we ought to go on to bed ourselves. . .*yawns*

Jesse: *looks surpprised* Really? Why you think that is?
