  1. "Sure I'll just meet you there. And Julie don't worry everything will turn out fine. There's no reason to be scared." Lizzy answered heading for her car. Cue anyone.
  2. "Or you guys want to stand around and talk 'cause I'm fine with that too. Really." Lizzy said. Meanwhile back in Atlanta the Crenshaw's were seriously enamored with their new granddaughter rarely putting the baby down except for at night. Then they got a visit. "Afternoon ma'am my name is Christine Webster and I'm from the department of child services here in Atlanta. We have received word that a Ms. Lizzy Davenport has filed for custody of your granddaughter Molly Crenshaw. Do you know Ms. Davenport by chance?" Christine asked. "Afternoon to you as well. Please do come in." Mrs. Crenshaw said. When Christine was seated on the couch Mrs. Crenshaw picked up the baby again. "Yes I know Lizzy well, she was our daughter's best friend. Is it legal for her to file for custody?" "Yes ma'am perfectly legal. She is allowed to file for custody but that doesn't necessarily mean the judge will grant it." "What can we do to prevent her from gaining custody?" "That is not for me to tell you. At this time it is my job to inform you that our department will be conducting random house calls to check up on the child and to determine whose house is better fit for the child in question." "So you will be checking up on Elizabeth as well?" "Yes ma'am, we stopped by her place of residence this morning but it seems as no one is home." Christine mentioned. "Of course not. That girl is rarely at home. She is always running around with different guys and is totally unfit to raise our granddaughter." Mrs. Crenshaw said trying her hardest to discredit Lizzy. The pair talked for a bit longer before Molly started to cry from a dirty diaper. "Please do excuse me dear I need to take care of the young one." Christine nodded and Mrs. Crenshaw stood and walked away. Mr. Crenshaw walked into the room and looked at Christine. "Ms. Webster, you can not take everything my wife said seriously. Lizzy is a good girl at heart and does deserve a chance. She doesn't run around with different guys every night, in fact the only one I've every heard her run around with is Tom Johnson. He's a friend of hers and helps her out when he can. My wife believes too heavily in the past and doesn't like everything about Lizzy and what she supposedly did to our daughter. If you're looking for her you should try down in Hazzard County. Her father lives there and I believe she's working with him on something." "Thank you Mr. Crenshaw. Tell your wife good day and look after the little one. I must be going now." Mr. Crenshaw nodded and the two said their farewells. "What did you say to her David?" Mrs. Crenshaw snapped at her husband. "I didn't say anything to her Michelle. We mainly talked about the weather." David answered before heading back to the barn. Cue anyone.
  3. Luke looked at Angelena carefully as she talked and laughed with Bo and knew that something was a bit off. “Hey Angelena can we take a walk?†Luke asked. “Sure, what’s going on Uncle Luke?†Angelena asked. “Are you alright Angel?†“Yeah I’m fine.†“How much do you know about what happened twenty years ago?†“I know enough alright.†She snapped. “How bout you tell me what you know?†Luke prodded gently leading her away from everyone else. While Angelena told Luke what she knew, Mike caught sight of what he thought was a car in the barn. He slowly wondered over to it and took a look at it. “Wow, this is a nice car,†he said looking at the black car. “That’s Uncle Jesse’s old shine runner Black Tillie.†Bo said. “Was everyone down here involved in running shine?†Mike asked. “At one time,†Bo answered. Soon they had prodded Uncle Jesse to tell them a few tales of his shine runnin’ days. Luke looked down at his cousin’s niece when she finished talking about everything and smiled. “You’re a lot like your mom; you think you can handle everything when really you don’t have to. You can’t keep holding everything back, it’ll get to the point where it’ll all blow up in your face if you’re not careful. As for what happened twenty years ago, you can’t blame your mom. She was a victim of some unfortunate circumstances. Another thing about this Xavier guy, he will pay for everything he has done when they prove it was him, thanks to Lizzy, she’ll make sure of it.†“How’d you get so smart Uncle Luke?†Angelena asked. “When I was about your age I realized that your Uncle Bo’s flappin’ jaw got us into more trouble than it got us out of so one of us had to smarten up, turns out it wasn’t going to be him.†Luke answered. “Another thing Angel, you can’t blame your mom for being overprotective of you. She just wants to make sure nothing bad happens to you like it did to her, and it’s part of her mother’s prerogative. She’s always going to worry about her baby no matter how old you are. Now how ‘bout we go see what Bo and Daisy are up to huh?†Back at the cabin Lizzy looked between Michael and Julie hoping they didn’t start talking. “So do you want to see what else we can find or do you want to go and leave the anonymous tip for Rosco or whoever is on duty today?†Lizzy asked. Cue anyone. --------------- P.S. this was posted with approval from Bo's Crush, Julieduke, and LizzyJackson-Davenport. Hope you all enjoyed.
  4. Sorry if this is a bit late but I just found this and thought I'd jump in. Name: Elizabeth Natalie Jackson-Davenport. Age: three and a half years younger than Bo. Nicknames: Lizzy or Red. Background: Lizzy was born in Hazzard County, Ga but was raised in Atlanta by her mom and step-dad. When Cooter was 14 he went a little to far with a girl named Mary who ended up pregnant. Mary told Cooter that she wouldn't stay with him insisting that he was too young and inexperienced to be a father so Mary ran off with Cooter's best friend David. Lizzy grew up happy in Atlanta until she turned 13 when her mom and dad started arguing about telling Lizzy who her real father was. About a year later David and Mary divorced with David going to Capital City. Lizzy spent the next couple years running whiskey she made with her best friend Tom Johnson. Unfortunately right before Lizzy turned 16 her and Tom were caught and slapped with probation where Tom was shipped off to Capital City to live with his uncle and Lizzy was stuck with her Mom in Atlanta. Four months before Lizzy's 17th birthday her car broke down in Hazzard county where she meets Cooter and the Dukes. After a bunch of shuffling around for the next two months Lizzy finally ends up staying full time with her grandma in Chickasaw until her death when Lizzy was 19. After that Lizzy moves back to Atlanta where she gets a waitressing job at a roadside cafe. The last anyone every heard from Lizzy she was still rattling around Atlanta at 39 and still single. Her Car: A dark forest green 1969 Dodge Charger that her and Tom fixed up with the number 07 on the side and Mickey Mouse painted on the roof with the name 'The Mouse Mobile' next to him. The horn also blasts the notes to the first line of the Mickey Mouse theme song "M-I-C- K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E" Her call name is Little Red due to the fact that her favorite fairy tale was little red riding hood.
  5. "The General Lee is Bo and Luke's car. It looks a lot like the 'Mouse' over there except it's orange and has the rebel flag painted on the roof. It's also the fastest car in Hazzard. Or was at one time." Lizzy put in. cue anyone.
  6. "Yeah it's a really big puddle that's always there running across the road. The reason they call it the Hazzard Car Wash is because every time you drive through it, the water splashes up and almost always washes your car." Lizzy added. cue anyone.
  7. "Hey Julie, who's Maryanne? I know Enos and Cletus, but I've never heard of Maryanne." Cue anyone.
  8. "Yeah i remember we always were inseparable back then. But it seemed to me that Cindy was the one that always held us together. God I'm gonna miss her. So Mike why don't you take Angelena back to the Duke farm and the three of us can have a look around here for a while." Lizzy suggested. cue anyone.
  9. "That sounds about right, I can handle the trouble from Rosco, and I'm sure Julie can too. Micheal are you sure you want to stick around?" Lizzy answered. cue anyone.
  10. I'm pretty sure B.L. has the paint supply right and i know that the episode is right i'm just not to sure about the first one.
  11. "Hey how 'bout we all just stop fighting and start looking around to see what we can find. We've all done crap in our pasts that we ain't proud of and dragging it up to make someone angry isn't going to do us any good right now. So if y'all could save your arguing till we get back to town, I'd greatly appreciate it. Oh and Julie I didn't mean to be so harsh I just hate it when Dukes jump in feet first without looking what they're doing and end up in trouble." Lizzy says refraining from rolling her eyes. Cue anyone.
  12. welcome to hazzardnet. watch out for speeding cars and enjoy your stay.
  13. Hey y'all, my extended internet, hazzardnet family. Just thought i'd let you all know i'm going in to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow (march 24th) morning. I'll be out for a while. Wish me luck See y'all on the flip side. LJ-Davenport
  14. Lizzy rolled her eyes looking from one Duke to the other. "Man, it's bad enough I have to look after one duke but now another one? Let's just hope you're better at this than your brother Julie. Hey look here comes Micheal and Mike." cue anyone.
  15. "Do you remember how often your brother and cousin went behind Rosco's back and actually made something work out better if they had left it to Boss and Rosco? Who is that guy anyway?" Lizzy answered. cue anyone
  16. Michael Knight and his son found their way back to the cabin where Xavier had held Julie hostage. “What exactly are we looking for?†Mike asked his dad. “Anything to prove what happened here today and put the guy behind bars.†Michael answered. Mike nodded and looked around the outside of the cabin as his dad went inside. Inside the cabin Michael was looking around and spotted something shiny on the floor. When he picked it up carefully he saw that it was a pocket knife that had the initials J.D. on them. He realized that it looked a lot like the one Julie always had on her. Michael also saw the ropes that had been used to tie Julie up next to the chair along with her cell phone that had several missed calls. Back at Cooter’s garage Lizzy looked up at Luke and Cooter and decided to do something other than stand around. “Guys I think I’m going to go see what I can dig up around that cabin.†Lizzy said. “That may not be a smart idea.†Cooter said. “I need to know if there’s anything I can find to further incriminate this jerk. Maybe if I do that then I won’t be so upset by everything.†Lizzy explained. “Well alright just be careful.†Cooter said. “I’m always careful.†Lizzy said with a smirk. Cooter rolled his eyes and muttered something about ‘shine runners’. Lizzy choked down a chuckle and headed for her car. “Don’t you think someone should go with you?†Luke asked. “What do you think?†Lizzy answered raising her eyebrow. “But still I’d feel better if you weren’t by yourself out at that cabin.†Luke argued. “Oh come on Luke I’ll be fine, I can take care of myself you know.†“I know that but...†“Look Lukas K. Duke, I can take care of myself just leave me alone.†Lizzy snapped. “I’ll go with you.†Julie said. “See there, now I even have a cop with me. We’ll be fine, just go home and don’t worry about it alright?†Lizzy asked softening a bit. “I guess.†Luke said. “Good. Now take care of yourself, I don’t want to come back and find you in more trouble than you are now.†Lizzy and Julie walked to Lizzy car. “That door does open just for your information.†They talked a little on the way out to the cabin mainly about everything Lizzy had done in the past twenty years and how she knew Bo and Luke so well. When they got to the cabin they noticed a black car sitting there. “Hey ain’t that the talking car?†Lizzy asked. “Which one?†Julie asked. “That Michael guy’s car. It’s a Trans-Am.†“I am Knight Industries Two Thousand but you can call me KITT.†The car answered. “Wow, it still creeps me out to hear a car actually talk. I mean it’s one thing to hear a guy talk to his car, that’s kinda normal but when you hear a car answer...yeah sorta creepy. Wait that means Michael’s here.†“Probably Mike, his son as well.†“Shall we get to it then? Maybe there’s something here they’ll overlook.†After a bit of looking around Lizzy noticed that a black car pulled up and it’s driver stepped out. cue Julieduke, Bo's Crush, or anyone. P.S. this was posted with full approval from Julieduke and LizzyJackson-Davenport.
  17. "Well isn't this the cutest sight I've ever seen." Hughie said when he reached the top of the ladder and saw Lizzy lying in Luke's lap. Lizzy saw red and let out a slow deep breath before standing. "You may want watch where you step there Hogg, you're awfully close to the ladder there. If you were smart you'd take your behind back down the stairs." Lizzy snapped. "But it's so cute to see how much you still like Luke." "I am in absolutely no mood to deal with you Hogg, so just take your behind back down that ladder and back to the pigsty where you belong." Hughie had to work hard not to let his jaw drop. "Still don't like me I take it?" "Hughie really don't start anything, I doubt she can restrain herself from kicking you out and that's a might big drop." Luke warned. "What's got the little girl so upset?" Hughie asked noticing for the first time Lizzy's bloodshot eyes. "It's none of your business so leave already." Lizzy snapped breathing hard on the verge of tears again. "You really are upset aren't you?" He asked softly. "Thanks for stating the obvious." Lizzy said taking a single step towards her most hated adversary. Hughie held his hands up before climbing back down the ladder and then going toward the courthouse across the square. "It'll all be ok Lizzy I promise." Luke said laying a hand on her shoulder. Lizzy nodded before climbing down the ladder herself and looking for Cooter. Luke followed still thinking about how to answer Lizzy's previous question about whether or not he was involved with someone. cue Julieduke or anyone.
  18. "Lizzy look I know this kid means a lot to you and I will help in what ever way I can but you have to understand that things do have to be worked out a certain way. The law is a lot more strict in Atlanta than it has been in Hazzard. If you don't go about this all legal like you could get locked up and that will not do ya any good. You have to take it one day and one step at a time and if that includes waiting for the law to do it's business then so be it." Luke told her. "I don't want to wait Luke. What if Molly's grandparents start raising her immorally? I don't think I could ever undo most of the damage they'll be able to do." Lizzy confessed feeling a little bit better "Listen, it's only going to take a couple of weeks to work out the custody. Molly's still an infant and won't be learning much until she gets a bit older. The time when she starts learning what's right and wrong could very well be the time that she's in your custody. You know when she's about two or three. I know you're fit to be a guardian, but you just have to convince child services and the lawyers of that." "What about my criminal record?" "I know they'll try to use that against you but you have to show that you're better than that and you've learned from your mistakes. You should really talk to Cooter though. Maybe he can help you with this." "Do you think they'll grant custody to a single woman who's almost forty and has a criminal background?" "I think they'll grant custody to a single woman who's caring, smart, intelligent, and above all loves that little girl. How bout we go see what Cooter's up to?" "Luke..." Lizzy asked hesitantly. "Yeah..." "Are you..." Lizzy stopped and changed her mind. "Yeah maybe he can do something he is a congressman." "Congressman not a lawyer, what else were you going to ask?" "He may not be a lawyer but he knows the law, and it's nothing." "It's got to be something." "Are you...involved with anyone?" Lizzy asked finally. "Involved?" "You know...dating, seeing, sleeping with, married to anyone?" Cue anyone,
  19. "I guess I could go talk to her." Bo said. "Do you really want to get caught up in that again?" Daisy asked. "Yeah remember last time you tried to comfort an upset Lizzy?" Luke asked. The last time Bo had seen Lizzy upset and on the verge of tears was back when they first met her and one of the ways he had tried to calm her down was by kissing her to which she promptly smacked him hard. Bo didn't try it again and since then she's kinda resented him for it. "Yeah I remember, just..." "I'll go." Luke said cutting Bo off and walking to the garage. He smiled as he climbed the ladder to the loft and then smiled as he saw that Lizzy's normal hiding spot was still there. "You know both of us won't fit back here anymore." Lizzy looked up to see Luke standing there. He offered her a hand and pulled her out from behind the boxes to sit down on the lone piece of furniture, a couch. Lizzy was still wiping furiously at her tears in an effort not to cry again. "Why don't you tell me everything that's bothering you? You know it'll make you feel better at least a little bit." Luke prodded. Lizzy nodded and then spilled her guts to him ending up lying in his lap looking up at him and the ceiling. For a while after Lizzy finished Luke sat in silence.
  20. "I don't think that she's just upset about losing her best friend. There really has to be more too it." Luke said. "There is...unfortunately I can't say much more about it. As for talking to her, nothing I'm gonna say is gonna be of any comfort to her. If I tried she'd still push me away. Besides I don't even know where she's at. I saw her head towards the garage but that doesn't mean she's going to be there." Cooter answered. Cue anyone.
  21. Lizzy looked up as Julie spoke and wiped away a few tears. Her speech helped a little but it still felt like Lizzy's heart was torn into pieces. "Thanks and no I haven't seen no lieutenant anywhere. In fact the only type of cop I've seen all day that I know of is Rosco. I got to go." Lizzy bolted out of the courthouse and ran to her fathers garage up into her one safe place of the loft behind a couple of boxes knowing that only a few people would be able to find her.
  22. Hey just wanted to drop in and say thanks to all of y'all who made me feel real welcome and sometimes it does actually feel like I'm really part of the family. I did like everything everyone had to say on this but when I finished reading all the posts the first thought that ran through my head was wow this really sounds like everyone's leaving instead of just taking the time to remember everyone they've found friendships with. one last thought I really don't like March Madness. LJ-Davenport
  23. Lizzy looked up as she heard the door open again and hastily tried to wipe away her tears as a couple people came out. Unfortunately for her the tears wouldn't stop so she pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs burrying her face back into her knees trying to hide the fact that she was crying.
  24. "Lizzy will be ok eventually, I mean her best friend did just pass on this morning, but some one should go talk to her." Cooter replied looking around the room wondering who would be brave enough to go talk to a visibly upset Lizzy. "Maybe Bo or Luke should go. She seems to really trust them." Daisy suggested.
  25. "OK I get that you're out of your jurisdiction but if he willingly gives his DNA then you don't need a warrant. But go right ahead and ask the sheriff if he minds you taking over the case. I mean if he's wanted by the feds doesn't that mean this is a federal case?" Lizzy was just getting to frustrated to care about the legality of everything. "Lizzy..." Cooter warned. "You know what? I'm tried of caring let me know when everything is settled here." Lizzy swallowed before huffing in frustration and then storming out of the room and sliding down the wall in the hallway where she promptly broke down into tears.
