  1. Hey y'all, my extended internet, hazzardnet family. Just thought i'd let you all know i'm going in to get all four of my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow (march 24th) morning. I'll be out for a while. Wish me luck See y'all on the flip side. LJ-Davenport
  2. Lizzy rolled her eyes looking from one Duke to the other. "Man, it's bad enough I have to look after one duke but now another one? Let's just hope you're better at this than your brother Julie. Hey look here comes Micheal and Mike." cue anyone.
  3. "Do you remember how often your brother and cousin went behind Rosco's back and actually made something work out better if they had left it to Boss and Rosco? Who is that guy anyway?" Lizzy answered. cue anyone
  4. Michael Knight and his son found their way back to the cabin where Xavier had held Julie hostage. “What exactly are we looking for?†Mike asked his dad. “Anything to prove what happened here today and put the guy behind bars.†Michael answered. Mike nodded and looked around the outside of the cabin as his dad went inside. Inside the cabin Michael was looking around and spotted something shiny on the floor. When he picked it up carefully he saw that it was a pocket knife that had the initials J.D. on them. He realized that it looked a lot like the one Julie always had on her. Michael also saw the ropes that had been used to tie Julie up next to the chair along with her cell phone that had several missed calls. Back at Cooter’s garage Lizzy looked up at Luke and Cooter and decided to do something other than stand around. “Guys I think I’m going to go see what I can dig up around that cabin.†Lizzy said. “That may not be a smart idea.†Cooter said. “I need to know if there’s anything I can find to further incriminate this jerk. Maybe if I do that then I won’t be so upset by everything.†Lizzy explained. “Well alright just be careful.†Cooter said. “I’m always careful.†Lizzy said with a smirk. Cooter rolled his eyes and muttered something about ‘shine runners’. Lizzy choked down a chuckle and headed for her car. “Don’t you think someone should go with you?†Luke asked. “What do you think?†Lizzy answered raising her eyebrow. “But still I’d feel better if you weren’t by yourself out at that cabin.†Luke argued. “Oh come on Luke I’ll be fine, I can take care of myself you know.†“I know that but...†“Look Lukas K. Duke, I can take care of myself just leave me alone.†Lizzy snapped. “I’ll go with you.†Julie said. “See there, now I even have a cop with me. We’ll be fine, just go home and don’t worry about it alright?†Lizzy asked softening a bit. “I guess.†Luke said. “Good. Now take care of yourself, I don’t want to come back and find you in more trouble than you are now.†Lizzy and Julie walked to Lizzy car. “That door does open just for your information.†They talked a little on the way out to the cabin mainly about everything Lizzy had done in the past twenty years and how she knew Bo and Luke so well. When they got to the cabin they noticed a black car sitting there. “Hey ain’t that the talking car?†Lizzy asked. “Which one?†Julie asked. “That Michael guy’s car. It’s a Trans-Am.†“I am Knight Industries Two Thousand but you can call me KITT.†The car answered. “Wow, it still creeps me out to hear a car actually talk. I mean it’s one thing to hear a guy talk to his car, that’s kinda normal but when you hear a car answer...yeah sorta creepy. Wait that means Michael’s here.†“Probably Mike, his son as well.†“Shall we get to it then? Maybe there’s something here they’ll overlook.†After a bit of looking around Lizzy noticed that a black car pulled up and it’s driver stepped out. cue Julieduke, Bo's Crush, or anyone. 5. "Well isn't this the cutest sight I've ever seen." Hughie said when he reached the top of the ladder and saw Lizzy lying in Luke's lap. Lizzy saw red and let out a slow deep breath before standing. "You may want watch where you step there Hogg, you're awfully close to the ladder there. If you were smart you'd take your behind back down the stairs." Lizzy snapped. "But it's so cute to see how much you still like Luke." "I am in absolutely no mood to deal with you Hogg, so just take your behind back down that ladder and back to the pigsty where you belong." Hughie had to work hard not to let his jaw drop. "Still don't like me I take it?" "Hughie really don't start anything, I doubt she can restrain herself from kicking you out and that's a might big drop." Luke warned. "What's got the little girl so upset?" Hughie asked noticing for the first time Lizzy's bloodshot eyes. "It's none of your business so leave already." Lizzy snapped breathing hard on the verge of tears again. "You really are upset aren't you?" He asked softly. "Thanks for stating the obvious." Lizzy said taking a single step towards her most hated adversary. Hughie held his hands up before climbing back down the ladder and then going toward the courthouse across the square. "It'll all be ok Lizzy I promise." Luke said laying a hand on her shoulder. Lizzy nodded before climbing down the ladder herself and looking for Cooter. Luke followed still thinking about how to answer Lizzy's previous question about whether or not he was involved with someone. cue Julieduke or anyone.
  6. "Lizzy look I know this kid means a lot to you and I will help in what ever way I can but you have to understand that things do have to be worked out a certain way. The law is a lot more strict in Atlanta than it has been in Hazzard. If you don't go about this all legal like you could get locked up and that will not do ya any good. You have to take it one day and one step at a time and if that includes waiting for the law to do it's business then so be it." Luke told her. "I don't want to wait Luke. What if Molly's grandparents start raising her immorally? I don't think I could ever undo most of the damage they'll be able to do." Lizzy confessed feeling a little bit better "Listen, it's only going to take a couple of weeks to work out the custody. Molly's still an infant and won't be learning much until she gets a bit older. The time when she starts learning what's right and wrong could very well be the time that she's in your custody. You know when she's about two or three. I know you're fit to be a guardian, but you just have to convince child services and the lawyers of that." "What about my criminal record?" "I know they'll try to use that against you but you have to show that you're better than that and you've learned from your mistakes. You should really talk to Cooter though. Maybe he can help you with this." "Do you think they'll grant custody to a single woman who's almost forty and has a criminal background?" "I think they'll grant custody to a single woman who's caring, smart, intelligent, and above all loves that little girl. How bout we go see what Cooter's up to?" "Luke..." Lizzy asked hesitantly. "Yeah..." "Are you..." Lizzy stopped and changed her mind. "Yeah maybe he can do something he is a congressman." "Congressman not a lawyer, what else were you going to ask?" "He may not be a lawyer but he knows the law, and it's nothing." "It's got to be something." "Are you...involved with anyone?" Lizzy asked finally. "Involved?" "You know...dating, seeing, sleeping with, married to anyone?" Cue anyone,
  7. "I guess I could go talk to her." Bo said. "Do you really want to get caught up in that again?" Daisy asked. "Yeah remember last time you tried to comfort an upset Lizzy?" Luke asked. The last time Bo had seen Lizzy upset and on the verge of tears was back when they first met her and one of the ways he had tried to calm her down was by kissing her to which she promptly smacked him hard. Bo didn't try it again and since then she's kinda resented him for it. "Yeah I remember, just..." "I'll go." Luke said cutting Bo off and walking to the garage. He smiled as he climbed the ladder to the loft and then smiled as he saw that Lizzy's normal hiding spot was still there. "You know both of us won't fit back here anymore." Lizzy looked up to see Luke standing there. He offered her a hand and pulled her out from behind the boxes to sit down on the lone piece of furniture, a couch. Lizzy was still wiping furiously at her tears in an effort not to cry again. "Why don't you tell me everything that's bothering you? You know it'll make you feel better at least a little bit." Luke prodded. Lizzy nodded and then spilled her guts to him ending up lying in his lap looking up at him and the ceiling. For a while after Lizzy finished Luke sat in silence.
  8. "I don't think that she's just upset about losing her best friend. There really has to be more too it." Luke said. "There is...unfortunately I can't say much more about it. As for talking to her, nothing I'm gonna say is gonna be of any comfort to her. If I tried she'd still push me away. Besides I don't even know where she's at. I saw her head towards the garage but that doesn't mean she's going to be there." Cooter answered. Cue anyone.
  9. Lizzy looked up as Julie spoke and wiped away a few tears. Her speech helped a little but it still felt like Lizzy's heart was torn into pieces. "Thanks and no I haven't seen no lieutenant anywhere. In fact the only type of cop I've seen all day that I know of is Rosco. I got to go." Lizzy bolted out of the courthouse and ran to her fathers garage up into her one safe place of the loft behind a couple of boxes knowing that only a few people would be able to find her.
  10. Hey just wanted to drop in and say thanks to all of y'all who made me feel real welcome and sometimes it does actually feel like I'm really part of the family. I did like everything everyone had to say on this but when I finished reading all the posts the first thought that ran through my head was wow this really sounds like everyone's leaving instead of just taking the time to remember everyone they've found friendships with. one last thought I really don't like March Madness. LJ-Davenport
  11. Lizzy looked up as she heard the door open again and hastily tried to wipe away her tears as a couple people came out. Unfortunately for her the tears wouldn't stop so she pulled her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs burrying her face back into her knees trying to hide the fact that she was crying.
  12. "Lizzy will be ok eventually, I mean her best friend did just pass on this morning, but some one should go talk to her." Cooter replied looking around the room wondering who would be brave enough to go talk to a visibly upset Lizzy. "Maybe Bo or Luke should go. She seems to really trust them." Daisy suggested.
  13. "OK I get that you're out of your jurisdiction but if he willingly gives his DNA then you don't need a warrant. But go right ahead and ask the sheriff if he minds you taking over the case. I mean if he's wanted by the feds doesn't that mean this is a federal case?" Lizzy was just getting to frustrated to care about the legality of everything. "Lizzy..." Cooter warned. "You know what? I'm tried of caring let me know when everything is settled here." Lizzy swallowed before huffing in frustration and then storming out of the room and sliding down the wall in the hallway where she promptly broke down into tears.
  14. "Are we forgetting something? The darn jerk is wanted for murder, in case you've forgotten what that means it means he has killed someone." Lizzy snapped. She was tired of seeing everyone just stand around and do nothing but chat and catch up. There would be time for that later. Right now it was time for something to happen to this dirty little lying piece of scum. "Take his DNA, see if it matches the DNA they found when they found Cindy, since it will send his behind straight to prison and stop catching up already." "Take it easy Lizzy, we will, just relax." Luke said putting an arm around her. "I don't want to relax I want to see the sucker get what he deserves," she spat harshly. To say that Lizzy was angry would have been an understatement. She was beyond angry. She was furious and upset and for Lizzy those two didn't mix very well. cue anyone.
  15. 1. does gaylord duke count? 2.wasn't there a female deputy as well? in one of the early episodes? And was Hughie a deputy or was he acting sheriff? 3. I believe luke said it but i don't really remember.
  16. Before Lizzy and Cooter went inside "Hey Dad did that guy just talk to his car?" Lizzy asked watching Micheal, the same guy she had met at the Boars nest. "Better question is did his car just answer?" Cooter said. "Wow where ever he came from I don't want to go there. It's almost bad enough when people name their cars, now talking cars. I'm not even going there." "Right, let's go in shall we?" Cooter suggested. "Ok, talking cars wow not even going to go there." She answered shaking her head sadly. "Let me get the door for you." A guy said. Lizzy looked up and saw a handsome guy standing in front of her but just nodded. "Thanks Brian, this is my daughter Lizzy Jackson-Davenport. Lizzy this is Brian Coltrane." Cooter said. Brain's eyes clouded with confusion at the hyphenated last name. "Jackson is my step-dad's last name. When I found out Cooter was my real dad 20 years ago I hyphenated it." Lizzy looked back at the Trans-am and then to Brian. "Talking cars, another Coltrane, maybe it is a good thing I stayed out of Hazzard for so long." They walked inside where Lizzy's eyes narrowed at the guy sitting in the middle of the jail cell. Julie spoke up and Lizzy looked at her. "Ain't no way I'll excuse what they've done. I'm Lizzy Jackson-Davenport. Cooter's daughter and yes Luke I have grown up since the last time you and Daisy saw me twenty years ago. Don't know what your cousin was thinking when we ran into him at the boars nest. I guess he didn't recognize me. Anyway Julie, he'll pay alright. I'm thinking a life sentence will fit just fine." "Life?" One of the guys asked. "Yeah that's the usual sentence for murder isn't?" Lizzy answered. "What are you talking about Lizzy?" Luke asked. "About ten months ago he met my friend Cindy Crensaw at Ted's tavern where he took advantage of her and left her in a coma from a reaction to the drug he used. You're a dirty little jerk who's going to rot behind bars." Lizzy spat at the jerk. Cue anyone.
  17. Lizzy nodded and then pulled out of the parking lot taking the long way to town. She really didn't want to get this girl Angelena or her mom involved in the custody case knowing it could make it even more complicated than it already was. Thanks to the evidence left at the scene of the crime ten months ago when they found Cindy, they knew that whoever had been in that bed with Cindy was indeed the father of her newborn and it had recently been matched to several other unsolved cases for which this Coltrane guy was the main suspect. Lizzy spent most of the time trying to calm her emotions and go back to being the cool headed whiskey runner she once was with her best friend Tom but soon she realized that she had been too closely affected by this to just let it slide. When she reached the jail she saw that she wasn't the only person there, there was also a Ford Mustang, two police cars, Boss Hogg's personal car and the General Lee, Daisy's jeep, and another few cars. Lizzy wasn't ready to face Daisy or Luke just yet so she walked across the town square to her father's garage and saw him bent under the hood of a car. "Hi Dad," she said softly. Cooter looked up and then scratched the back of his neck. "It'll be ok Lizzy, you know this." "I know, but I can't help but worry. I mean it's going to be so hard to win custody especially now that the baby has a half-sister who is right across the way if the guy I met at the Boars Nest was right." "You know you're gonna have to use the baby's name eventually." "It's Molly, Molly Jordan Crensaw." Cooter hugged his daughter close knowing what it was like to not be able to know your own kid, as Lizzy's mom had done that to him until Lizzy was four months shy of 17. When Lizzy had actually come to meet Cooter, Lizzy had been surprised at first as well as Cooter. From the time Lizzy was 14 and a half she had been selling her own brand of whiskey in three counties, better known as Firewhiskey. She and her best friend Tom Johnson were co-owners and founders until they got caught when Lizzy was almost 16. She was slapped with a probation that ran out when she turned 25 almost twelve years ago. Cooter did worry slightly that Lizzy's criminal record could get thrown in the custody fight but when he saw a black trans-am pull up outside the court house he knew he had to get Lizzy over there. Slowly he prodded her across the street telling her to put the custody hearing out of her mind until she could talk things over with Luke who had always been the one to calm her down for the most part. When they reached the jail they saw that it had become more like a three ring circus mainly focusing on the three men in the jail cell. Lizzy's eyes widened as it landed on the one in the middle. Cue anyone.
  18. "That's great and all Micheal and I do feel for you but it's different. You see it's a little more than what I told you. Three months after it happened my best friend Cindy's parents were ready to put an end to her suffering but right as they made the decision the doctor told them Cindy was pregnant so they decided not to pull the plug until after the baby was born. So yesterday was the day. The only darn reason they kept her alive was so they could have the baby they were denied when Cindy was two. It ticks me off so much. My best friend was used for her baby and now thanks to some stupid law I may not even get custody although that's what Cindy would have wanted." Lizzy's anger was coming to the surface again right as her CB crackled. "Breaker one Breaker one, I may be crazy but I ain't dumb, Crazy Cooter coming at ya, Little Red you out there on the Hazzard Net?" Cooter called. "Red here Dad what's happening?" "I think it's about time you got yourself down to the jail and let everyone know what happened to Cindy." "That's a big ten-for. Red out." Lizzy answered. She looked back at Micheal before sliding into her car. As she started her engine Micheal spoke. cue Julieduke
  19. "Yeah I guess it's sorta the same, but at least Ms. Duke lived." Lizzy answered. Lizzy was still having a hard time coping with the death of her best friend and the fact that she may never see her god-daughter again. "Poor little girl, she'll never know her real mother." Lizzy muttered before dumping her food in the nearest trash bin and heading outside. She was stopped outside next to her car by a hand on her arm. cue anyone
  20. Lizzy looked up a Micheal and tried to smile. "My best friend is dead because of him. They met about ten months ago and he took advantage of her. The drug he put in her drink caused her to slip into a coma and today after her baby was born her parents pulled the plug on her life support. I guess that means he's wanted for murder now doesn't it?" Then Lizzy realized she hadn't introduced herself. "Oh I'm Lizzy Jackson-Davenport by the way." Then she looked back down at her plate trying to decide whether or not she should tell this guy the other thing that was bothering her. cue Julieduke
  21. When Lizzy reached Hazzard her mind was full but according to the huge growl her stomach let out she was still starving. Lizzy parked outside of the boars nest and ordered some food but when it came she found that she couldn't eat any of it. So she sat and picked at her food until someone came and sat down in front of her. cue anyone.
  22. Lizzy Davenport looked up from where she was sitting beside Cindy's bed as the doctor came in. The Doctor says "Ms. Davenport I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Lizzy answers "Why?" "Because I have to take her off life support and I don't think you want to be here to see that." "Sir do you have to?" "Her parents have the power of attorney. I have no choice." "Alright, what's going to happen to the baby?" "For right now Ms. Crensaw's parents will get custody of her, but you can file for custody. If you can prove that you are better fit then the judge may grant it but it's highly unlikely." "Thanks." Lizzy walked out of the room holding back tears and down to the nursery to watch over her god-daughter. Cindy and Lizzy always spoke about what it would be like to have kids. Cindy had repeatedly said that Lizzy would be her first kid's god-mother but they never had a chance to make it official. After stopping by the nursery Lizzy walked back to the pay phone and called her father's garage in Hazzard. Cooter picked up his ringing phone and said "Hello Cooter's Garage, Cooter speaking." Lizzy answered still trying not to cry. "Hi Daddy." "Lizzy, are you alright?" "Yeah they just took Cindy off life support and her parents are going to get her baby." "I'm sorry Lizzy." "Yeah, the doctor says I can file for custody but he doesn't think I'll get it." Cooter told Lizzy what he had just heard from Bo about Xavier Coltrane being locked up in Hazzard jail. After describing him, Lizzy got really upset. Cooter noticed the change in his daughter tone and asked "Do you know him Lizzy?" Lizzy shook herself of everything she had been told by Cindy's parents before answering. "No, but I knew someone who did. I'll be down there in a little while after I talk to a guy about some paperwork." "Take care of yourself Lizzy." Lizzy and Cooter hung up and after saying good bye to Cindy's parents she raced to the courthouse and then down to Hazzard to have a few choice words with a certain criminal. Cue any one
