"An' I can't help it your ticklish!" With that he grabbed hold of Bo tickling him unmercifully before letting him go. "Let Uncle Jesse know I might be late home..." he said heading off towards Jenni's house.

Luke siged. "Fine." He set Bo down but pointed a finger at him. "You stay outta my stuff from now on."

"How would ya know I'm doin' that unless you was skippin' class yaself?" asked Luke standing near the water.

Luke grabbed him and held the squirming eleven year old high above his head, Bo being small for his age. "Ya still shouldna been snooping" he said carrying him over to the creek.

He grabbed the note book before hitting Bo over the head with it. "What are ya doin pokin round my stuff?!"

"What makes ya think I love Jenni?" asked Luke looking to Bo bewildered.

"I dunno...nothin' I recon.."

"Her gymnastics teacher yelled at her..'cuz she couldn't do somethin..."

"Jenni's upset.," answered Luke simply.

"Never mind...cmon...we best get home." he said putting his arm across Bo's shoulder.

Luke watched her go before turning to Bo with a sigh. "You have a gift fer showin up at exactly the wrong time ya know that?" he asked tousling the blond's curls.

Luke swallowed running after her. "Jenni...wait..."

"But you love gymnastics Jenni...more than that...you're good at them."

"She yelled at you?" aked Luke, bristling with anger, his eyes cold as ice.

Luke swallowed surprised. He took her books from her and led her to the old oak tree in the school yard. Most everyone had gone home already, except for the few cheerleaders, like the one Luke had been talking to, who were waiting around for practice. "What happened Jenni?"

Luke looked at her worriedly. "Are you alright?" The truth of it was, he had always liked Jenni...but they had been friends so long it was hard to imagine being anything else...

********************************************************* Luke looked beyond the girl he ha been chatting to, as he saw Jenni run outside in tears. Frowning, he told Lou Ann he would see her in school tomorrow before running out after her. "Jenni! Jenni wait up!"

Luke sighed softly, as he watched the door close behind him. How the heck was he supposed to sleep after a kiss from Jenni?!

Luke stared into her eyes, swallowing hard as she kissed him. He gently drew her hand to his mouth planting a soft kiss to the backof it before giving her a smile.

Luke reached up to touch her hair. "You always were the prettiest thing.." he said softly.

"You...you're a doctor...." he said, still in shock.

Luke's jaw dropped in shock. "Jenni...Jenni Lynn Thompkins...." his voice barely above a whisper.

"Wh-what?"

Luke smiled. "What's your name?"

"I...I don't even know your name..."
