Luke wrapped his arms around Lori and said softly, "It's pretty warm. What do you think about heading in. LEt everyone think we're going to bed and I'll meet you back out here?" Lori nodded and said,"Yea, Uncle Jesse'll catch us though wont he?" "He might. Then again, we are eightteen and it's not under his roof exactly." Luke smiled evilly. Lori wiggled around in his arms,"Got a point there too, I'll meet ya back out here say round 'bout another hour?? gives me time to get ready." Luke said, "Ready?" Lori just smiled and started pulling him towards the house.

When they got out there though Lori was surprised to find the barn decorated and all her friends there. Luke looked at her and said, "Happy Birthday!" then asked, "Were you surprised?" Lori was shocked and let tears slip,"Luke, how did you..... yes im verrry surprised!" Luke said, "Good." Jeb, Coy, and Vance had their band there and got the music started. Luke handed Lori a beer and got him one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesse was in the porch supervising from there. Of course he would make a few trips out to the barn to chaparon.
-
Lori caught the two talking and gave them weird looks, Luke just smiled and said, "Don't ask." Lori wasn't sure she wanted to know what was up, but she knew something was. Luke had OK'd the party with Jesse. That was a big accomplishment. He had even got permission to have some beer there. Course Luke also planned to have a little shine there too which he wasn't planning on telling anyone about. Lori seen her friends all looking at her with sneaky grins.

Uncle Jesse began, "I won't stop you from cheerleading practice if the coach lets you practice. I won't even keep you from the game on Friday. I understand that you are going thourgh a very difficult time, so other than school and school activities, I expect you to be on the farm." Lori looked relieved. Luke looke totally baffled. On the farm, that was all? he thought be was wise enough not to say it. Jesse knew Rosco was up to no good when he talked with him earlier in the morning. He knew if he could keep Lori on the farm it was likely Luke would stay close by. Luke was already eightteen and Lori would be in a few days. Jesse had explained to Rosco that under no terms could he have arrested Lori last night. Rosco had let him know that it wouldn't be long and he could and would arrest her and Luke both for running shine. Whether Rosco had gotten a tip, just figured it was logical, or actually knew something, he had hit pretty danged close to to Jesse's family with the statement. Jesse figured the gorunding would give him time to see what Rosco was up to. He continued his sentence, "For the next month." Lori's eyes got wide. She knew this would interfear with her birthday plans. Luke almost said something. The same thought crossed Luke's mind. He'd just have to come up with somehting to do here on the farm and he was beginning to get an idea! It was likely a bad one, but an idea. He'd see if he could use the barn to through Lori a big birthday surprise party and since she was she certainly wouldn't expect it.

Cooter, I can't believe my cousins forgot to mention me, but how could you forget your little trouble making sister??? I did have sanity and a halo until I returned to Hazzard at about age 15 to spend the summer. Then, about school time I talked you and Dad into letting me go to school in Hazzard instead of back home with Mom. I just got tired of the whole 'silver spoon thing'. I wanted to learn 'Daddy's World' at the garage. Of course the dark haired, blue eyed Duke helping with the garage and the wrecker in those days (crosses fingers) didn't have a THANG to do with me wanting to stay in Hazzard! In my world Luke is just over four years older than me so that make me about 5 or 6 years younger than you big brother. DixieDavenport I attribute the Daddy's World to the song X's and O's.

Lori teared up more from anger that regret, "I'm sorry Uncle Jesse but I ain't sorry. First she hurt BL and then she wanted to say Luke controlled me when he tried to get me to walk. And now I can't even sing tomorrow in a program I've been practicing for months for." Luke knew that wasn't the best answer to give Jesse but he was surprised when he heard Jesse's reply. Jesse looked at her and said, "Honey, just go to your room and get yourself calmed down and we'll talk about it after supper." Luke ................

Luke was wise enough to know not to jump in between fighting girls so he figured it best to try to stop it before it starts so he grabbed her by her waist and said, "Come on. You don't need this right now." Hailey smirked, "So the rumors are true, you DO let yer boyfriend control yer life!! I knew it just wasn't the "fun" ya'll were having!!" Lori then turned blood red and broke free from Luke's arm,"There ain't NO ONE that controles MY life but ME!!! you bi*** !!!!" Lori then brung her fist back and knocked Hailey a sailing across the floor, her head hitting the lockers, everyone gathered round saying,"FIGHT! FIGHT!" Lori was a top of Hailey beating her brains in. Luke saw Cooter heading his way. "I tried to stop it before it started. Hailey wanted to keep running off at the mouth." Cooter said, "Get Hailey I'll try to get Lori." They both stepped toward the fighting girls and grabbed one a piece about the time the principal walked up.

Several minutes later Cooter came werily into class. He glared slightly at Luke giving him a 'you owe me look' as the teachrt asked, "Mr. Davenport why are you late for my class?" Cooter hated to be called Mr. Davenport. He answered, "I had a late night / early morning tow job." The teacher said, "Take your seat Mr. Davenport."
-
Luke shook his head writing back to her, "Sure is Darlin'! And to think, I thought I had problems last night! But, if they are talking about us they are leaving everyone else alone." Luke was cool enough to act like he wasn't bothered by the rumors. He knew girls would be girls. He also knew he'd handle the guys mouths should he hear them. He folded the note and slipped it back to Lori. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bo just hoped the teacher didn't see but he really hoped neither one of them saw him passing the notes to the other girl. He really liked Dixie but he'd sure like to get to know Beth. He'd known Dixie for years. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In B.L.'s class Mr. Crouse was looking dead at her. "Ms. Davenport are you having trouble keeping your paper on your desk?" He asked.
-
Lori smiled as she heard someone in behind them. She and Luke both turned around at the same time to see none other than Cooter standing there with a stren questioningly look on his face. Luke said quickly, "Cooter I can explain......" Cooter replied, "Sure hope it's good." Luke was thinking that he hoped it was good too, but said, "First, can you call Jesse and have him meet me at still site three? Secondly, can I borrow the tow truck to get there?" Luke knew that even back then Boss Hogg had the switchboard operator paid off for any kind of good information. Cooter raised his eyebrows, then replied, "Well, I'll call Jesse for you, but you can't use the truck to get there. That's WHY I'm here. I have a call to pick up a red and white Ford. Sound vaugely familiar?" Luke nodded. "Yeah, it does." Cooter added, "But, I can give ya'll a ride outta here to meet Jesse. Grab that there tarp over there. I'll back in here after I call Jesse and ya'll hope on the back and cover up with the tarp. We'll drive right by Rosco." Luke grin. Then, he and Cooter let out a gut burstin' laugh. Lori thought they were both crazy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Uncle Jesse had been just getting up when the phone rang. He was not pleased to get a call from Cooter this early. Cooter had asked him to meet 'Lost Sheep One at number three'. NARRATOR: Now, anybody listening knew Jesse would be meeting someone, but with CB's just becoming common it was very unlikely they knew it would be Luke that he was meeting. They also probably knew tit was a still site they were meeting at but even the Davenports didn't know the location of all Jesse's stills. Jesse grabbed a cup of coffee, his red cap and his shot gun. Going to any still site unarmed just didn't make good sense, though it was only loaded with rock salt. Once out of town Luke directed Cooter off the road where a deer trail went up the hillside. "That's good right here." Cooter said, "Ok, ya'll be careful out here." Luke replied, "Just watch the paint of the Ford huh?" Cooter glared, "I've painted it MORE THAN once, I can do it again." he pulled out with a grin. Luke reached back for Lori's hand. "Ready for a walk?" Lori took a couple steps up the trail, "It ain't THAT far." Luke shook his head. He wasn't at all used to his girlfriend knowing this much about what he did. But, at least she if he wasn't home for 'unexplained' reasons, she would understand. Luke had lost several girlfriends who thought he was cheating on them because he was at the still site or on a run and couldn't explain why he wasn't at home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesse was waiting for Luke when he walked up. "What kind of 'Tom Foolery' have you two been up to now to get me out this time of morning?" Jesse asked. Luke began, "Yesturday morning when I went out to deliver Rosco got in behind me. I ducked in to Robin's garage. Her brother closed the door. Rosco went by. Mark opened the door I backed out and high tailed it outta there before Rosco could turn around." Jesse nodded. Luke continued, "Last night I was on my way home. Rosco got in behind me. I pulled over. He arrested me for 'runing shine and resisting arrest' and took Lori in too. We were able to get out and get here." Jesse nodded. "Get in the truck. We'll go get breakfast and I'll take ya'll to school, then, I'll go deal with Rosco! He knows he has to catch you with the shine to be able to arrest you and he can't prove it was you he was chasin'.
-
Luke shook his head as he saw the blue lights turn on. This was beginning to get old, but he was empty and going under the limit. "I know I'll regret this but I think I'll see just what he wants." He pulled over and stopped. Rosco came up to the car, laughing, "Kew, kew, kew. Alright now I got ya." Luke looked at him like he was nuts, "Got me. Got me for WHAT? I'm the only car on the road. It's 3 am and I was running under the limit." NARRATOR: Now the main reason Luke stopped was that in these days Rosco was a fairly good law man. Now, Boss Hogg may tell him who to lean on, but he made sure when he did, he could prove you were in the wrong.

Luke smiled and said, "It wasn't pretty was it? You know he just got a couple years vacation, right?" Lori nodded. She was doing some thinking. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A COUPLE DAYS LATER!!!!!! It was a beautiful Hazzard day the sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the Dukes were delivering shine in broad day light. Luke saw Rosco behind him. He knew he had enough shine in the truck to put him away for several years. Luke had an idea and hope it works. He knew he couldn't shake him in the area he was in. Luke gambled and prayed. He headed for Robin's house. He knew it was likely the garage door was open if they were home. Luke only hoped that the gates were open and hoped that her brothers didn't have anything in the garage torn down. If anyof these things were wrong he was caught! As he roared down the street he threw the red and white Ford into neutral and gunned the motor loudly a caouple times in warning. He knew the entire family knew the sound of the car. As he swung wide to go through the double gates he saw they were closed but her older brother, Mark, was running to open it quickly. Luke never even missed a beat as he swung right into the yard and left towards the garage. The door was open. He never let off the gas. As he started to raise up to shut the garage door, Mark had shut the gate and ran to shut the garage door behind Luke. Mark yelled, "Problems?" He knew Luke hauled shine and ran from Rosco at times to get out of a ticket or just to peeve him off. Luke yelled back, "YEAH!!!" They heard Rosco go flying by just as the door closed. He then said, "Let me out before he can get turned at the dead end!" Mark opened the garage door and the gate. Luke flew out backwards turning quickly in the driveway and burning out of through the gate which Mark quickly closed back. Luke hoped he'd bought just enough time to get away from Rosco and get unloaded. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Later that night Luke and Lori went to the Boar's Nest for awhile. Luke looked up to see Mark heading his way. Mark said, "Hey, I was a little worried about you today. Wasn't sure you were far enough ahead of him. He came by right after I shut the gate." Lori looked at Luke

Lori climbed in with him, Uncle Jesse in the truck, and they headed for Harlan on their way back home after getting three house special sandwiches which was always included in Jesse's payment. Luke breathed a sigh of relief once he was on the way back home with Lori by his side and Jesse in front of him. He figured the trip home would be peaceful with the exception of Lori chewing in his ear.

Once the officers reported back to Agent Roach that they had found nothing, Roach replied tensely, "Ok." as he glared at Sheriff Little who was looking very little right now. Luke said calmly, "Ah, about 'my' car? Ya'll are puttin' it back right?" Roach sighed heavily, "Put it back just the way you found it guys!" Luke remained straight faced, but wanted to laugh SO bad! as he watched Sheriff Little and the others put Tilley back together. Then he watched as Little tried to explained that he KNEW Tilley was a runner. By this time Lori was all questions. Shortly afterwards Luke was back onthe radio, "Lost sheep to Shepard. 10-4 here." Jesse smiled. Lori exclaimed, "WHERE was it?" Jesse said you'll see. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once they were at the drop off point Luke pulled into a barn outside an old farm house beside a little place called the "Dew Drop Inn". Jesse pulled up to the bar and grill and asked, "Care for a late night snack or do you want to see where the shine is?" Lori was wide eyed as she replied, "Where the shine is." Jesse replied, "Let's go in and we'll go out the back door." Lori nodded. She followed Jesse who told the bartender / cook, "I need 3 of the usuals and we'll be back." Jesse walked out to the barn with Lori right behind to see Luke under Tilley draining moonshine from the gas tank into glass gallon jugs. Tilley only ran on moonshine unknown to anyone but the Dukes and Luther who had fixed her that way YEARS ago. Lori................

Jesse had given Luke specific instructions 'how' to load the shine. It was an old trick that was seldom used so that it worked when Jesse needed it to and going through Sheriff Little's county and across state lines he needed it to work tonight. If Luke got caught on the other side of teh state line, it would be a Federal charge not just a state crime. The time for a state charge was 2 years tops, but if it was a Federal charge it was anywhere from 2 years to ten YEARS. ***** After a good dinner, a short nap, a shower and a couple pots of coffee Luke was ready to go. He told Jesse to give him about an hour to get loaded and he'd radio Jesse when to get on the road. As Luke was leavign to load up, Lori called to say she was dropping Mylinda off and would meet them at the pines. She also told Jesse that Sheriff Little was looking hard at everything moving. Jesse figured as much. Tonight Luke would be driving Tilley and he'd be taking his pickup truck to run blocker with Lori riding with him. Luke loaded Tilley just as Jesse had told him. Jesse told him that he figured tonight would be a learning experience for Luke and Lori. Luke had never been stopped carrying a load before. Jeses about half way figured he would be because all his information told him they were pulling checks on everythng that wasn't local traffic. Luke had been schooled in what to expect and what to do should it happen. The fact that Lori was riding with Jesse sorta made the hairs stand up on his neck. He'd never had a girlfriend this close to him rumming shine before. he was good, taught by the best, but he'd even tell you he had a lot to learn to be da--- good!" Everything was loaded and everyone in motion. Things were WAY too quiet until Luke came with in 2 miles of the state line. Suddenly Sheriff Little pulled out behind him. Luke figured to 'run' him across the state line and loose him. He had done it before, it had worked. He sped off with Little hanging in there enough to follow him across the line where Luke figured on loosing him. Jesse was a couple miles back and Luke had radioed to let him know what was up. He was trying to gain ground to pass Luke and draw the heat off him. Lori was biting her lip. Somehow it was easier being in the drivers seat in the circumstances. As Luke crossed the state line and turned a hairpin turn hoping to loose Sheriff Little he ran right smack into Agent Andy Roach with his car across a road where there was NO way to get around it. He looked up just in time to see Little block him in. As Jesse approached the site, he was detoured around to a side road about half a mile back from where Luke was stopped. The road ran right beside the other road. It was separated by pine trees but you could see what was up. Jesse thanked the young officer and drove on slowly so he and Lori could see what was up. Little was helping search the car. Andy Roach had Luke standing with him at his car. The hood and trunk was up, the sets were out the door panels out. Luke heard the truck and made eye contact but never let on he saw Jesse. He was leaning up against Agent Roach's car talking about fishin', Daisy, Bo, and Jesse like this was his long lost friend. Jesse smiled at the sight. Inside Luke was shaking like a leaf. Outside he was a cool as a cucumber. Lori though was .............. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ***** I know Federal Charges usually carry more time than State time but this is based only on fiction for entertainment purposes. I have not researched these charges lately! and it would vary from state to state and depend ont he year in which it occured. No days moonshining would be the least of law enforcements worries in most places, but that is my opinion!

Luke sighed he just couldn't win. "I just can't win here can I?" Lori glared at him. "I feel the same way!" "I'd like to know exactly what I have done wrong so early in the morning. After being out half the night and up with YOU the other half." Luke said tiredly. Lori shook her head and sped up,"If you like t' stare at Robin sooo much, please make it less noticable around me ok?" Luke said, "WHAT?" Lori seethed, "You know what. You seat there looking right at Robin." "I was looking right OVER her head mainly at you." Luke said. He was tired from last night activities and knew he had a trip across the state line to get ready for tonight. If things weren't bad enough with Lori also wanting to run shine now she wanted to argue.
-
Luke made his way over to set with Cooter and a couple other friends as usual. The choir was singing as everyone else was still coming in. Setting just a couple rows in front of the guys were Robin and several of her friends. Luke and the other guys would have been blind not to have seen any of them. He couldn't help but think about some of the good times they had had but he was really worried about Lori. He loved them both but it was totally different. During the sermon, Luke couldn't help but notice Cooter squirming a little more than usual.
-
Luke said, once Jesse had gone to bed, "Lori you could have told me you were in a bind." "I know, Luke. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. But, you didn't tell me either." Lori replied. Luke said, "The only one I talk to outside the immediate family, openly about it is Cooter. He knows cause he helps with the cars. Like your Uncle knows." Lori's eyes got big. Luke continued, "Honey, why do you think he and Cooter's Mom separated years ago?" He saw the confused look in her eyes, so he explained, "It's also likely why he got so mad at you tonight. He has never made or ran shine. Luther has always fixed the runners to have a bit more horsepower than the revenurers and police. He worked on the laws cars during the days and I've seen him out here at all hours when I was a kids helping Jesse with Black Tilley. Cooter's Mom figured that if moonshiners got money from running shine that the money he earned was 'dirty money'. They agreed to disagree and they separated, but to this day haven't divorced." Lori shook her head, "That's why he was so mad." Luke
-
Jesse heard the car easy in, then, he heard the window open. He put on his robe and headed to the kitchen where he turned the coffee on before he went to the boys room. He knocked once and entered. Luke had put on his jeans and he sat on his bed holding a crying Lori. Jesse said gently, "Luke coffee's on. Let's take this to the living room." Luke nodded. He reached back for his quilt as they headed to the living room. He wrapped it around her shoulders. Jesse poured three coffees and took them to the living room. After several minutes Jesse asked, "How did Luther know you were hauling?" Lori sniffed, and replied, "He looked in my trunk." Jesse nodded, "First if Luther can tell by your trunk then any lawman right out of school could. If you're determined to do this I'll teach everything I've taught Luke here to try to keep you out of trouble, but I'd prefer you not continue this fool idea." Both Luke and Lori looked to Uncle Jesse in disbelief.
-
Luke sighed and said, "Lori, right now I need to know why my girlfriend is delivering moonshine to Jesse's customers. And HOW is Boss hogg involved?" Lori sighed and said,"Luke. my daddy is real sick, he needs the money.. that's why im deliverin it, now how they are Jesse's and Boss's customers, I dont know I just make it and deliver it." Luke knew Luther didn't hold to moonshining. He had separated from Cooter and Dixie's mother because he worked on the moonrunners at night and the police and revenures car by day. She felt he was earning 'dirty' money but taking money from the moonshiners cause they made it illegally. Luke bagan, "Honey if you need anything, ask me. Tell me. But, don't go getting into something that's bigger than you know around here. People have ended up dead delivering to the wrong person's customers. You are making shine yourself?" Lori nodded, 'yes', "Yeah, so." Luke said, "Where did you learn?" Lori replied, "Reading books." Luke rolled his eyes and asked, "You got any handy?" Lori said, "A little." Luke held out his hand, "Let me try." Lori handed him a pint jar. Luke poured a few drops in the lid and lit it. It had a bit of orange and blue to the flames but not much. He wiped the lid and put it back on and shook the jar. He saw it bead up. "Ok, well it ain't gonna kill anyone, but you have some impruities, maybe lead in the sodder. You got some good octane." He finally took a sip, then a drink, and said, "It's not Jesse's but it's good. Lori.....
-
"Lori, get out of here real quiet now. I'll meet you by the pines on the other side of the county line. Droopy catches us all over here he'll know why." Luke said through gritted teeth. If it wasn't bad enough he'd roped BL and Cooter inot helping him, but here was Lori appearantly driving for the competitor, Boss Hogg." Lori got in Midnight and headed out. Luke turned to Joel, "I knew you needed a big shipment, but didn't figure you'd go to Boss Hogg." Luke sighed, "That's our load." Joel handed Luke the money for the shine without reply. Cooter and Luke hurriedly unloaded and pulled out slow and easy.
-
Luke got out and said, "Lori, what the HE-- are you doing?"
-
Uncle Jesse had been on his way to talk to Luke when Lori pulled in. He watched Luke and Lori load the supplies in her car and suddenly wondered why she needed them. He walked over to Luke and Lori and asked. "Now what on Earth do you need that kind of stuff for?" Lori studdered at first,"I uh...I uh.....well..... It's a project im doing at school?" Jesse nodded and cautioned, "Ok, but I'm gonna warn you first that I'm taking your word on this being a class project. If you should have some fool notion about carrying in shine in that there car of yours for whatever reason, it only takes two drops to put you in prison for two years." Lori smiled, "Yes, Sir, I know." Jesse changed the subject, "I was just on my way out to talk to Luke. I think it may be good for you to hear the first part of mine and Luke's talk. We had company this morning by the name of Sheriff Rosco Coltrane." Luke knew this was coming. He wished Jesse would have waited until Lori left. Lori's eyes got wide.
-
Luke groaned and pushed back the cover it was going to be a looong day, "Bo come on." Luke sighed as he reached for his pants and boots. After givin Jesse time to get back down the hall Luke asked, "How did you and Daisy get home?" Bo groaned sleepily, "BL and Andy gave us a ride out. I was a little worried leaving you like that but Cooter insisted." Luke nodded, "Yeah, he pretty much had everything under control. Why in the world would Enos get ont the CB and call for Rosco? Lori told me about it later." Bo was trying to go back to sleep but mumbled, "I don't know why he did maybe he wants to be a cop someday." "His Daddy'd kill him! He runs as much shine as Jesse does!" Luke laughed. Then, began his Sat. morning ritual, he grabbed the bottom of Bo's covers firmly and jerked them across the room. A cold Bo as never a happy one. "LUKE!!!" Bo groaned setting up. Luke grinned evilly and left the room for a lot of coffee. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Jesse had breakfast ready after the morning chores were done. As they all dug into the delious food he began talking about the work that needed done today and mentioned to Luke, "Oh, and don't forget to oil the hinges on the side door." "Side door? Uncle Jesse we don't have a side door." Luke said baffled. Jesse said firmly, "Then, quit using it when you slip in just before dawn." Luke swollowed hard, nodded 'yes' and said, "Yes, Sir." Bo about spit his eggs out! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just as breakfast was over Jesse heard a car coming up the drive. He looked out and saw Sheriff Rosco Coltrane pulling up to the house. Jesse reached for another coffee cup and poured in full of coffee for Rosco. It wasn't real unusual in those days for Rosco to stop by for morning coffee especially if he'd been chasin' moonshiners all night. Rosco knocked on the door. Luke sorta sunk in his chair. Bo and Daisy both froze giving Luke a worried look. They saw him trying his best to act innocently, but it wasn't working. Jesse frowned at the three when they didn't move to let Rosco in. He opened the door and said chiperly, "Mornin' Rosco. Got your coffee already poured." Rosco accepted the coffee, " 'ppreciated that Jesse, but I can't say as that's why I'm here." He was looking right at Luke. "Oh? Then what brings you all the way out here?" Jesse said. Rosco sipped his coffee, then replied, "Seems I got a call about a fight last night at the lake. By the time I got there I arrested Ernie Ledbetter for speeding and driving recklessly. He nearly drove over me." Rosco paused. "When I got him to the jail, I could tell he'd likely been one of the people fighting, but he denied it." Rosco got quiet. Luke never moved. Jesse was watching and seeing more than he wanted to. Rosco said, "So, I drove out to see if anyone out here could tell me who and why Ernie Ledbetter was fighting with......"
-
Lori said, "You didn't have to risk getting into that race or the fight over me." Luke nodded, "Yeah, I did," He took her in his arms. Lori felt his excitement at their closeness as he layed her down on the hay.................. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It was late, really late, it could likely be considered almost morning as the sun was due to rise anytime now as Luke and Lori slipped into her room to find him a shirt since his had been riped off during the fight. Luke silently prayed that Luther wouldn't catch him in Lori's room or he might be known as the 'Late Luke Duke'. Lori opened the door and checked the stairs. Luke was still tucking in his shirt as he followed he silently into the hallway and started down the steps. He looked up and saw Cooter looking him dead in the eye coming up the stairs with Beverly behind him. They were just coming in. Luke knew Cooter wasn't happy seeinghim coming out of Lori's room but he wasn't sure this was the place to debate with Luther's room at the top of the stairs.
