Meanwhile over at the hospital Luke was the same but in a lighter coma ", unfortunetely his eyes were still shut tight every now and then Uncle Jesse would get his hopes up when one of his eyelids would flutter then suddenly Luke started thrashing on his bed and Uncle Jesse called in his doctor and his she came rushing in and said Oh God he's having another Seizure ", then she gave him a shot of lorazapan about 20 minutes later Luke was asleep again. Your cousin was just a victim of fatal accident that's all ", then Bo said " y'all should have been looking where you was going cause that way maybe you wouldn't have hurt him. Jake then gets frustrated with Bo and puts the gag in his mouth and then orders gabe to tie Jeb up with the ropes and put a gag in his mouth also then he tells them to be quiet. Back at the hospital Luke was still in his coma and Jesse was sitting by his side waiting for him to say anything , move something but nothing happened then suddenly Luke's eyelids began to move and Jesse said ' Luke , Luke , can you hear me ?", Luke let out a moan then he moved his head around on the pillow but his eyes didn't open jesse said ' Luke please say something ?", but Luke failed to make a sound then his doctor came in to check on him And Uncle Jesse told her that his eyelids moved , that he was a little restless , so then she checked him over lifted up his left eyelid and and shined a light in it noticed his eye movement seemed a little better today then told Jesse " well he could be in a lighter coma so maybe he'll be awake but he'll probably have amnesia when he wakes up. " Then Jesse said " well that ain't good news " , then the doctor said " i wish that i could give you better news mr. Duke but unfortunetly in Luke's case he has been in a deep coma for weeks now and it's almost been a month , he suffered a seizure also which is from his aneurysm ", and he'll probably also have a concussion which can only be excepted, Poor Luke is having a tough time you realize this never would have happend had Luke not been standing in the middle of the street while some two crazy nuts were on the road. Meanwhile over at the hospital Luke was still in his coma", in a private room ". he was also hooked up to life support and his doctor was finishing her tests, But he wasn't showing any improvement just laying still as a stone. " Luke , Luke , Luke , can you hear me ?", Luke gave no response so she took Luke's chart and she wrote down comatose , then she checked out his reflexes lifted up one eyelid shined the penlight their was some movement not much. she wrote down " some improvement in the reflexes then she closed the file". Once she was done with that she decided to make her way down to the waiting room to tell the dukes the bad news that Luke was still in his coma ". Bo was the first to notice the doctor and she said " well I have some good news and some bad news which one would you like first ", Uncle Jesse said " can you tell us the bad news first ", then she said " okay Luke sadly is still in his coma", but the good news is he has shown some improvement in his reflexes ". " Well will Luke wake up doc ?", " well the sooner he does the better but there is a small chance that he could remain a vegetable". then all the Dukes got saddened looks on their faces and Jesse said " doc if Luke does wake up will he be the same ?", " well their is a chance that he could have memory loss , brain damage ", then Bo said " maybe if we talk to Luke he may wake up ?". The doctor " it's worth a shot we've tried everything else ", you all can see him now if you like but only one at a time ", then Bo said " I'd like to see him first then doctor said " okay follow me and try to keep your visit short ," then about 15 minutes later they arrived at Luke's room and the site of his cousin made Bo's heartbreak everything in the room was blue except the dark brown hair sneaking out of the bandage on is forehead , the life support too he was out cold Luke better not die. Bo tried to be brave but he was having trouble he picked up Luke's IV hand and Luke also had some cut and bruises on his face he didn't look good friends. Meanwhile over at the hospital Luke was still in a coma it's going on two weeks, Bo had just arrived at the hospital and had spotted Uncle Jesse , daisy. So he walked over and said " I heard about Luke having a brain aneurysm". Jesse said " That's what the doctor told us he's gonna need surgery too", the doctor's gonna have to drill a hole in his skull to drain the blood out. Bo was shocked still about the news and he wished it was all a dream ", then Bo asked " can i see Luke uncle Jesse ?", Jesse said " well the doctor said it'll be awhile before we can see him since he's still in the ER not in a room. So while the Dukes waited to see Luke his doctor was performing some tests on him and she said " well Luke are we awake yet ", she lifted up one of his eyelids and shined the penlight in it and said " i don't think so" , she checked Luke's breathing level on the resperator she said " it looks a little better. Then she got out his chart wrote breathing is a little better ", still in coma", then she figured she go out to the waiting room to tell the dukes the news so she made her way out to the waiting room and Jesse said " doctor's here", she said " well sadly Luke is still in the coma but his breathing is a little better, then Bo said " well that's great news isn't doc ?", then the doctor sighed. " Well their's a chance that Luke may never wake up could be a vegetable", then he could wake up and have brain damage and memory loss. then Jesse sighed and said " well why won't Luke wake up doc ?", " well in my medical opinion the coma is a result from the fall on the pavement , seizure only made him fall into a deeper coma so the chances of him waking up are slim to none. Bo was still over at Mary Jane's house telling her goodbye then got in the car". Meanwhile over at the hospital Daisy decided to call about Luke's bad news, so she said " Bo Peep to Lost Sheep , Bo Peep to Lost Sheep ", then Bo picked up and said " you got Lost Sheep Bo peep what's the problem ?" Daisy then began to tell Bo about Luke's aneurysm and that he will have to have surgery". Then Bo started to get tears in his eyes and tried to to be brave oh my lord", that's horrible news Daisy I just hope Luke makes it I don't wanna lose him. " have you seen Luke yet ?", Daisy said " No Bo we ain't seen him yet the doctor said that it will be awhile before we can see him he's still out cold unfortunetly. Then Bo told Daisy that he was on his way to the hospital try not to worry. Little did the Dukes know that the person who hit Luke was pulling into town and going into Boss Hogg's office and the person told Boss " job was done". Then Boss said " good that's makes me a happy person you did good ". Carl then gave boss a wicked grin and said " so how about paying me the money that you owe me for doing it JD ", then Boss said " Now Wait Just A Minute "!! the job ain't done yet that hit and run was just to keep the dukes busy. Meanwhile the doctor's had the results from the CT scan and sadly the cause of Luke's seizure was a brain aneurysm now the doctor has to tell the duke family. Jesse was waiting for Daisy to return and they were trying not to worry, the doctor arrived shortly after Daisy came back the dukes could tell it was bad. Doctor Pepper said " we just got the results back from the CT scan sadly Luke's seizures were caused by brain aneurysm which means one of his blood vessels swelled and popped open now it's slowly bleeding in his brain. then Uncle Jesse said " well can you fix it ?", the doctor said yes I can", basically I will have to drill a hole into a skull and place a tube into his brain. " just do whatever you can to save Luke because i don't wanna lose him". The doctor replied " I'll do whatever i can but sadly Luke is still in a coma I think when he fell on the pavement that's probably what popped the blood vessel", then caused him to have a seizure but will try to fix him we won't let him die. Meanwhile over at the accident scene the EMT's were checking Luke over", one of them checked out his reflex's they were slow ", then Mary Jane asked one of them if he was okay ?", one of them said " well miss it looks like he has a head injury , possible broken ribs , broken arm will know more at the hosp. A couple minutes later they began to load Luke onto the gurney then put him into the back of the amublance made their way to Tri -County Hospital", Mary Jane asked if she could ride with him they said " that will be fine ", so she hopped on in but all of sudden Luke started going into Convulison's one of the EMT's turned around and jumped over the seat and got one of the needles out of the plastic cases which was filled with a sadative drug, about 15 minutes later they arrived at the hospital Luke was still flooping ", it wasn't until one of them put an oxygen mask over him did he finally sleep. Luke was rushed back into the ER a doctor named pepper halliwell was given Luke's case one of the emt's told her that he had some seziures on the way", then she told on the nurses " I want a CT Scan runned on him ", " okay. Then once that was over the doctor made her way out to the waiting room to tell the Dukes about Luke's condition Uncle Jesse was the first to notice so then Bo , Daisy followed him over to the doctor then she said " Y'all must be the family of Luke Duke ", then she said " well your nephew is unconcious, he has some broken ribs , unfortunetely he suffered a seziure which we don't know why but we are running a CT scan on him to find out why.

Then Vance replied " how about we go into town sneak into his office ", maybe we can find out his plan and then beat him to the punch cuz. Coy said " well that's a pretty good plan Vance only it's a shame that Bo ,Luke can't go with us on this caper sure would be nice to have some backup". Daisy couldn't help but laugh at Coy's statement", but speaking of Bo and Luke they were getting pretty dane tired of being in those wheelchairs seeing as how on their last doctor's visit Bo was time in his wheel chair is almost about up", but Luke's is still a little bit longer considering he has that spine fracture ", speaking of O'l Luke he was none too happy with that news considering he could not stand being in this chair for one more day let alone none more day. So Bo decided to try and cheer up his depressed cousin " "c'mon Luke cheer up it ain't that bad you'll be better just as soon as you get feeling in your legs, then Luke replied " that's easy for you to say you'll be done with yours soon. Meanwhile Coy , Vance , Daisy was making their way into town to see if they can figure out what Boss Hogg is up to it can't be anything good friends ". Cue DaisyDukexenosstrait

Tonight On The Dukes : Luke is out on date then tragedy happens . It was a nice peaceful summer evening in Hazzard Luke , Mary Jane were down by the lake going skinny dipping , making love unaware that trouble was coming, Later on that night Luke , Maryjane was making their way back to the car to drive maryjane home about 30 minutes later they arrived at her house. Luke helped MaryJane out of the car then she said " Luke I had a nice time tonight with you ", then Luke said " I did too darlin' your really pretty . Luke too busy kissing MaryJane to notice a speeding car coming down the road until it was too late then it hit him and he went flying landed hard on the pavement and was knocked out cold he had two big bruises on his forehead, Mary Jane turned Luke over onto his back he was also bleeding some too", so she tired to wake Luke up but wasn't having much luck so decided to call over to the dukefarm Bo was first to pick up the CB he said " Duke farm you got Bo Duke who's calling ?", Mary Jane replied " Bo it's me Mary Jane you gotta call an ambulance for Luke he was hit by a car and you gotta hurry PLEASE !!. Bo repiled " HOLY SMOKES listen Mary Jane you stay calm I'll try to get an ambulance out their soon ", then Mary Jane hung up the CB she made her back to over Luke who was still unconicous but luckily he still had a pulse. Meanwhile over at the Duke Farm Bo was calling over at Tri-County hosp. to tell them they need to get an Ambulance over by potter's road ", then once he was finished with that he relayed the bad news to Jesse , Daisy Daisy burried her head into Uncle Jesse's chest he told her to will be okay. Boss was able to hear mr. Slate plans he couldn't believe what he heard ", he was planning on bringing trouble to the Dukes more then they could handle. speaking of the Dukes Daisy was still steaming about the boys she just couldn't let it go she hated the fact that Coy And Vance never came to see Bo , Luke. Meanwhile Bo and Luke was having trouble getting used to there new wheels, " Bo I can't stand this we have to get better soon or "I'm gonna go crazy", " don't worry Luke everything will be okay I'll be better before you though cuz. Luke gave Bo a grin and said " When we do get out of these wheels we sure gonna give Boss and Rosco a run for the money the General is probably gonna run better then ever considering Cooter added some new improved parts, a couple minutes later Jesse came over and told Luke that it was time for theraphy and Bo said " geeze Luke I sure fill bad for you cuz have fun ". Meanwhile Boss was telling Mr. Slate that he wants no screw up's and he said " yes sir Mr. Hogg I'll make sure it is done ", boss was happy as a clam ", considering this time Bo and Luke can't mess up his plans this time. Meanwhile Coy and Vance had gone out to tell Bo and Luke about not being at the hosp. Luke and Bo said " well that's okay your forgiven ", then Luke said " I wish we could drive Bo said " I wish too cuz you gotta bad spine fracture so you can't drive until your healed. Luke said " Geeze Thanks cuz I just love to be reminded of that tidbit ", then Bo laughed. just to matters worse Uncle Jesse chimed in and he said " Luke it could be worse you could be paralyzed for life not be able to do anything so cheer up and Bo stop laughing. Cue Dukefan

Later on that day Luke was sitting outside on the hospitals curb waiting for Bo ", about 30 minutes later Bo pulls up and he gaves Luke a hug and says " I've missed you. Luke said " I missed you two cuz and I'm be so happy to get back in my own bed and it'll be so nice to see Daisy and Jesse again too so then Bo said " well come on Luke let's go. So Bo helped Luke into the General then they were off to the farm Jesse and Daisy was busy getting Luke's bed ready for him since he's gonna be spending alot of time in it. Daisy couldn't wait to see Luke " I can't wait to see that beautiful smile again", Then Jesse said " yeah I know I've missed him too and I know Bo will be really happy to have Luke back because he missed him more then anyone we better get this done . Half hour later the boys pulled in and Luke was really anxious to get out and so Bo hurried to get is chair and Bo said " well c'mon Luke let's get inside" Bo shouted". " Hey Y'all we is back !!! " , Daisy and Jesse came rusing out and Luke couldn't believe it. " LUKE" your back oh honey then Daisy lays a big kiss on him a hug and Uncle Jesse", was so happy he had happy tears running down his face and he gave Luke a big hug, then he said " welcome home boy I got your bed all made up for you i love you Luke. Luke laughed and said " boy i'm so glad to be home only i hate being in this chair ", Jesse said " well Luke you won't be forever in it you will have to have theraphy for your spine fracture but in due time it will heal and then you'll shine like a new penny. I'm still trying to figure out what the the first one should be like maybe Luke could oversleep and he is already in trouble with this teacher and he has a major test today", I was thinking that he could meet a girl but he is too shy to ask her out to the dance.

Rosco got out of his patrol car ran over to the Dukes I got you boys now ", Then just to make matters worse Boss Hogg came over and he asked the boys what they was doing back here again they ain't been back for awhile. Coy and Vance replied " well Boss we came here to help Uncle Jesse with the farm since Bo and Luke are layed up at the moment no thanks to Rosco", Rosco said " now hold a minute I didn't mean to cause the boys accident i already told Jesse how sorry i was for the accident and he accepted it, " Now I'm gonna have to give you boys a ticket for speeding now kee kee", Coy and Vance wasn't too happy for getting a ticket they took it anyway, little knowing that Boss Hogg had bad plans in mind for Bo and Luke now that their here they may be able to stop Boss Hogg's evil plan before Bo and Luke wind up getting in more trouble then they are now what with the wheelchairs. Meanwhile back at the farm the boys was feeding the chickens , Jesse was collecting the eggs , and Daisy was doing the laundry when all of sudden they heard a loud car engine the boys was awfully curious as to who's car that is. The boys curiousty soon died when Coy and Vance both stepped out the car, Bo was the first to speak " Oh My God howdy Cuz ain't seen ya in awhile. Luke looked up from feeding the chickens he said " What are y'all doing here? Coy said " Well we came to help Uncle Jesse with farm until you two get back on your feet y'all woundn't be in this mess if it wasnt' for o'l Rosco Coltrane, Vance said '' he gave me and Coy a ticket for speeding the peabrain. I remember in the episode Brotherly Love when Luke got into that horrible accident.

Cooter then lifted the tarp to show the Dukes a new General Lee and it was hot. Bo and Luke was speechless they couldn't believe it "Oh My God Cooter ", replied Daisy she thought for sure the General Lee had gone to heaven. Cooter then said " well y'all the old one was totaled so I have been working on making you boys a new , improved General Lee i had to order alot of parts . Luke was the first to speak " Cooter I'm shocked once me and Bo get better", will be driving it to the Boars Nest , giving Rosco a run for his money right cuz"? Bo said " YEEHAW " I can't wait till we can drive again this will be so much fun. Cue Dukefan

Bo replied to Daisy " I wish Luke hadn't of yelled either it hurt me too ", meanwhile in the waiting room Rosco was once again telling Jesse how sorry he was that this mess happened ", and Jesse said " I don't blame you rosco", " it was a accident after all if anyone's to blame it would have to be JD. A couple minutes later the doctor came out to the waiting room and told the Dukes that Luke has fractured his spine ", his mood swings are due to a concussion , and he also has some memory loss as well he's not hurt to bad. Uncle Jesse replied " that's some pretty bad news doc ", will Luke have to be in a wheelchair ?", the doctor said "for now he'll have to be in it from 4 to 8 weeks. Then Bo said " Holy Cow I didn't think Luke would turn out to be hurt that bad. Cue Dukefan

Bo replied " sure Boss i'll let Luke know your thinking about him ", anyway in Luke's room the nurse was just finishing checking him over and he was still asleep from the morphine. And the nurse checked his heart rate , his breathing everything looked good so far", so she made her way out to the hallway and told the dukes that Luke is doing good. As to which Bo said " that's great news but is he done sleeping yet ?", the nurse said "no not yet he's still under the effects of the morphine it should wear off this afternoon, hopefully will be able to tell why he can't feel his legs he may have hurt his spine. So later on that afternoon Bo went into Luke's room even though Luke was still asleep, he picked up his hand and said " I..... miss you Luke i don't wanna lose you i really hope that your not gonna be paralyzed because that would just kill you for sure and me too. A couple minutes later Luke's doctor came into the room and told Bo that was time for Luke to get his x-ray so Bo let go of Luke's hand placed it on his bed then they nurse unhooked his bed rolled it out of the room and down a long hallway to x-ray room, once they arrived their the nurse and two interns helped get Luke onto the table. 30 minutes later they were doing the x-ray the doctor noticed two fractures in the spine and also some fluid too which can only be from the swelling so he said " well i guess that explains why Luke can't feel his legs at least he's not paralyzed so this is good news, then came the hard part having to tell the dukes which ain't gonna be easy at all. So after the nurse and the interns got Luke back onto his bed the doctor made his way into the waiting room to tell the dukes the good news Jesse was the first to ask . Well doc what's the word " Luke ain't paralyzed but he did fracture his spine a little bit, then Jesse got tears in his eyes he said " will it heal doc ?", the doctor said " yes it will in time which will be probably 4 to 6 six weeks tops then he'll start to feel his legs again. Then Bo who also was holding back tears said " will Luke have to be in a wheelchair ?", the doctor said " yes for now but only temporary he won't be in it forever so don't worry, Cue Dukefan or DaisyDukeenosstrait

Luke's doctor was on his way into the room when he heard Luke scream", Luke asked his doctor why he can't feel his legs ", the doctor sighed and said. " I'll have the nurse schdule an x-ray could be that you hurt your spine", but until then I'm gonna have the nurse come in and sedate you for now. So a couple minutes later the nurse came in and gave Luke a shot of morphine then the doctor told her to schdule an X-ray for Luke's neck she said "okay", meanwhile in Luke's room he was starting to fall asleep from the medicene. Luke's doctor told the Dukes that Luke is now resting peacefully in his room and that later he is gonna run an x-ray to see why Luke can't feel his legs.

Uncle Jesse was the first to respond " Hey Bo I'm so happy your finally awake", Bo looked at Uncle Jesse with a confused look on his face " where am I "? this time Daisy spoke " well Bo you and Luke got into a real bad car accident 2 years ago both you and Luke have been in coma's I'm so happy your back. Bo was still awfully curious as to where Luke is so he said " where is "LUKE? Jesse responded " Bo Luke is still unconicous has been for sometime now ", he suffered more then you did so they had to put Luke in the ICU. just when Jesse was about to answer doctor mcquinn came into the room to check out Bo she tested Bo's eye movements that came out good, then she thought she test his memory so she said " Bo do you know why your here ?", and Bo said " no i don't but my uncle Jesse tells me it's because of a car wreck. The nurse said " yes that's right do you know your name , where you live ?", Bo said " um... my name is Bo Duke .... and I live in a small town in the south. after the doctor was done testing Bo she walked over to the Jesse and Daisy, " it appears that Bo has a mild case of amnesia which can be expected ", then Jesse said " m'am would it be okay if Bo saw Luke he ain't seen him yet. The doctor replied " well .... dont' see any reason why not only he'll have to go in a wheelchair and you'll have to tell the nurse your here to see Luke. Cue Dukefan , DaisyDukeenosstrait
