  1. Sheriff Rosco ain't stupid...just scatter brained.

I like Rosco because he still has values they are just lost behind the corner store. He seems to find them every now and again.

    I like his personality.

From the way he talks to the way he walks. Fun person to think of.

  2. Besides, if'n the original cast were to be in the movie, it'll wind up being too complicated. There's a big, long word for that...I forgot it though. Just got off of work so I'm braindead right now. Catch me tomorrow.

To tell you the truth, I could write the whole original cast into a movie without making it confusing. I know that a lot of us DOH fan fic writers could come together and make one heck of a movie.

That is what will be wrong with this movie though. They don't know it like we do.

You could easily move the year up in this movie without destroying the whole set of standards set by the Dukes.

I could preserve everything from Enos right down to the very last word that would come out of Bo's mouth.

Honestly, it would be simple to make a movie out of this TV show. However, the writers that are in this are trying to improve something that doesn't need improving. That's what really gets me. If something works...if reruns are still as loved today as they were back then--you have got a hit.

To change it would mess it up royally.

  3. There's only one problem with this pole, some people weren't born or were too young to watch any of these shows LOL

Well, I guess reruns make all of life possible.

    I like A Team...it is cute

McGuyver I watch pretty regularly on TV now.

And Well if I didn't like Dukes, I wouldn't be answering

  4. I think that was a major problem.

Someone told me once that they took scripts made for Bo/Luke and just inserted Coy/Vance where ever they needed to.

When I saw the first episode with Coy and Vance on it, I had mixed emotions. First it was like, "Okay, who are you?"

I liked the first episode because they seemed different--somewhat fresh.

However, it seemed as if they were trying too hard to be like Bo and Luke. Personally, I know it wasn't their fault but still I was like, "What is this monsterosity?"

I would have liked newer personalities. Maybe quirts that Bo and Luke didn't have. Maybe having to relearn the ropes...anything.

Vance was too robotic though on screen. Coy just seemed to be a copycat.

Sure, still watched the show but it wasn't the same. I was thrilled when Bo and Luke came walking back through that door.

I think Brian you are very correct in this situation

  5. "The Ten Million Dollar Sheriff" Now that was a good episode. It was a 120 minute episode.

I thought it was a funny one. Roscoe finds out that he is rich. Roscoe plays a card game and wins all of Boss' riches too.

He then goes and turns a Roil's Royce (Excuse my spelling) into a police car.

Gives Boss a job as a deputy.

To top it all off, he sends someone to get those pesty Dukes. Jason Steele.

 Poor Uncle Jesse goes after that Jason Steele and ends up injured :(:(:(

The end is too funny for words though :lol::lol::lol:

  6. I also cried when uncle jessie was in the hospital, after he fell looking for that bounty hunter(forget his name),who was hired by rosco to frame the duke boys in 10 million dollar sherrif!

When they all were in the hospital and bo was crying telling jessie to please wake up!

The Bounty Hunter's name was Jason Steele

That part made me weep a little. I think the most neat part about that episode was when Boss came to see his friend.
