"Thank you...." he said in relief, leaning down and hugging his older cousin close, knowing how hard it would be.

"Y...You'll come?" Bo asked gently, unable to quite believe it in his mind.

"Please....Luke please just once..." Bo begged equally back, he didn't want to have to see his Uncle search the room again...he didn't want his Uncle going through more agony than he already was in. "He needs to leave usd peacefully Luke...he cant do that right now...it aint fair on him to make him leave us worrying..."

"Its not that you don't wanna see him is it...its more you dont wanna say goodbye...you think the longer you leave it, the longer you got to hold onto him...but Luke its gonna happen...and if you don't say goodbye now...you might not get to at all...its hard to see him like this, I know it is, but its better for him to go to Auntie now..." He said softly with tears in his eyes, having felt like Luke was now so many times at night when he used to cry alone in his room when Luke refused to sleep in the house but would sleep in the barn.

"Brother...you...you gotta come and see Uncle Jesse...if you don't you aint gonna get another chance...he's holding on to see you brother...but he can't wait much longer. We have to let him go...but we cant because he's waiting for you...he dont wanna go and not say goodbye to us..." He said as softly and as gently as he could. He didn't want to upset Luke more but it needed to be said and he didn't think there was ever gonna be a good time to ask Luke that.

Bo nodded softly back to him, fighting to keep his own tears back. "I know cousin...I am too...but..but we'll get you the help you need...but first...Luke there's something you gotta do..."

"I know ya don't buddy...but...we'll help ya feel better...just lay back and let yerself wake up some...you had some pretty heavy dosage of sleeping pills is all so the after effects gotta take some time to wear off..." He explained softly, taking Luke's hand and holding it gently.

Bo continued to just try and silently soothe Luke's mind some, hating the confused look that Luke weas giving him...wishing that his Luke would just bounce out of bed, hug him close and tell him everything was going to be okay now..that they would work all this out together as they always did.

Bo swallowed softly and reached out, running a hand softly through Luke's messed up dark curls lovingly.

Bo bit his lip softly as he looked to Luke, watching his older cousin carefully, feeling like a cat ready to pounce at the slighest sign Luke was going to do something stupid.

**TJ to Next Day** Yawning, Bo stretched in the chair by Luke's bed. He had stayed up most of the night in case Luke would wake earlier than he anticiapted - which was most likely for Luke - but had taken some time out to do the chores. He was worn out to say the least, but he couldn't risk falling asleep in case Luke did wake up and he refused to let Daisy stay up all night too. The family needed her to keep bringing in the money from the Boar's Nest...what little they could. So she needed to be as on her toes as possible. And so, 10 cups of coffee later, here he was still at Luke's bedside, praying that Luke would be aimiable and come see his Uncle and that maybe - just maybe - he wouldn't have to do what he and Uncle Jesse were thinking they might.

Ted nodded a little, taking his glass to be washed but still talking with him as he went around his daily job. "Well...why don't you help her get started then if you say she's back on course as she should be. You have connections within that area...you know a Miss Candy Dix...Waylon Jennings has said he'd help you out...i've been here a long time, seen the kind of people you have connections with...prove to your family and Bo that she can be trusted, get her back with better social circles...then see what happens from there." He was just throwing ideas from the top of his head, having seen before what had happened to Luke with drink and the amounts he could have when he was upset. He had heard about the troubles the family were encountering and like everyone else in Hazzard - he wanted to help any way he could.

Bo bit hia bottom lip as it quivered, knowing there was no time to cry now...there was no time to bawl and scream to the world even though he felt like doing so, so very badly. Watching to make sure his Uncle was really asleep, he finally sat back down in his chair, still holding onto his Uncle's hand, before offering an arm to Daisy for a hug.

With teary blue eyes of his own, Bo gently rested a tender hand on his Uncle's head as he held Jesse's other hand with his own. Things were guarenteed to be different now, and with their Uncle nearly gone, things were already falling apart...Bo didn't know how things were ever going to be okay, he was taking each objective at a time as they arose...he had no plan, no foresight as to what could happen. All he could think of was being with his Uncle as long as he could, getting Luke the help that even Jesse could see he needed....and talking to him tomorrow one last time to see if Luke would at least come in and say goodbye. "Just hang on one more day Uncle Jesse...i'll talk to Luke when he wakes up and try and get him in tomorrow....please...please dont leave before I get back here..."

Bo nodded desperatly, holding his Uncle's hand as they broke the hug. "Course...course I will..."

"I know...we all know Uncle Jesse...I promise i'll look after everything...i'll do everything I can to help Luke...please dont worry so much...please Uncle Jesse..." Bo near begged, not being able to stand having to try and ease Jesse's mind too. It was bad enough that Luke was already hurting their uncle like this, he didn't want Jesse to pass anything but peacefully...

Bo bit his lip seeing the tears in his Uncle's eyes, standing up and hugging his Uncle close. "I'm sorry Uncle Jesse...m'sorry..."

Bo shook his head quickly and cleared his throat. "No, ain't your fault and it aint really Luke's either...we just...gotta get him any help that we can...its okay Uncle Jesse, things'll work out....dont you worry about it..."

Bo swallowed hard, hearing his Uncle's voice waver and then Daisy's choked sob next to him. The one thing he had been praying someone else had a solution for...and no one else did besides his. He wanted to be the one to be able to bring Luke out of this...he wanted to be able to help his cousin...but this time...this time it just wasn't possible...not when Luke had sunk so low that he had pushed everyone else away and refused to let them closer.

"You...you think I should...should have him...admitted too then?" Bo asked shakily, reaching out and squeezing his Uncle's hand gently.

Bo finally managed to look up at his Uncle again, swallowing softly before asking. "What do you think I should do Uncle Jesse..."

Bo sighed and nodded. "I know Uncle Jesse...but he wont come near here voulentarily...i've tried getting him to come along with us before but all he did was yell at me and tell me to keep out his way..."

"I just dont know what to do Uncle Jesse...that's the only idea I had..." He admitted desperatly, needing some sort of guidance and hopefully a better idea than the one he was having.

"M'almost certain of it..." Bo mumbled even quieter but he could still be heard, not wanting to have to repeat that again.
