  1. Bo meanwhile was off happily following the chicken on its trail across the farmyard. He'd always been interested in the strange birds, liking the way they scattered as he ran through their little group. However sometimes he just liked to watch them and giggle at how they ate their food off the ground and how they waddled around.
  2. Bo grinned as he watched them both, gripping his toes gently as he wriggled them in his shoes. However, like most 4 year olds he soon lost interest and found a new interest in one of the chickens that made its way across the barn floor, picking at grains of feed. Clapping his hands, he slid off the hay bale and followed it.
  3. Bo toddled over to a hay bale and pulled himself onto it, settling down to watch Daisy and Luke have a turn on the rope. Swinging his little legs a bit, he felt a little disappointed that he was being left out but he wouldn't say anything. He knew the importance of sharing and taking turns...it was just hard when someone wanted to share his time with Luke.
  4. When they finally reached the ground, Bo slid down his older cousin, jumping with gless as his feet hit the floor, laughing and clapping happily. "Again! Again!" he shrieked, his blonde curls bobbing up and down as he bounced. (CUE BL Davenport)
  5. Bo yelled happily with him as they swung through the air, the wind whipping through his blonde curls as he kept a white knuckled grip on his older cousin. He laughed happily and would have clapped with glee if he wasn't holding on so tight. As much as he was looking forward to the day he would be big enough to do this himself, a large part of the little 4 year old wanted for Luke to do this with him always.
  6. Bo clung to Luke as Luke moved around like a baby monkey clinging to its mom. He trusted Luke unconditionally and would usually do near anything the older boy told him to. Grinning he nodded enthusiastically as Luke asked if he was ready, bouncing a little in excitement as he waited for Luke to make the jump that would send them sailing through the air together. "Yeah yeah yeah! Go go go!"
  7. Bo grinned widly and hurried over to him, near jumping up at Luke to get into his arms. His aunt had deeply instilled in him already how much he could help someone by giving them a hug...it was something the little 4 year old took very seriously. Besides that, he also liked getting hugs in return so it was something he readily gave, more when he wanted one than when the other person did.
  8. Little 4-year-old Bo giggled as he watched Luke do it, clapping his hands joyfully. . "Me go! Me go!" He shrieked, his blonde curls bouncing as he bounced excitedly. Now when he said 'Me go' it wasn't as much as me have a go as it was you help me have a go. He'd had it explained to him that he couldn't swing on his own yet countless times, so instead, Luke would pick him up and Bo would cling to Luke tightly while they swang.
  9. "Sure do...mind you weren't so bad teaching her to swing really...I spent so much time with you, it was nice to see another, better lookin face on occasion..." He replied with a small chuckle.
  10. Bo looked to where he was pointing, not bothering to say the 'I know I am' line. It never went anywhere after that anyway. Smiling a little he nodded, taking out the picture and looking at the date on the back. "Yeah must've been....heck I weren't that old and I could do it...didn't make any sense she couldn't..."
  11. "Yeah yeah, excuses excuses Lukas Dukas. Truth is you just lost what little touch you had with em as you got older really ain't it. Its alright you can admit it to me..." Bo replied with a tone of mock sympathy and care, patting Luke's shoulder consolingly.
  12. Bo smirked back, shaking his head. "Oh ha ha ha. If yer supposed to have learnt that lesson from me, how come you can't pick any up?" He retorted back before looking back at the photos again.
  13. "Just bout how much we've done together..." Bo replied with a slight shrug. "How much we've learnt from each other and things. Uncle Jesse and Auntie taught us a lot about life an stuff like that....but I think some of the most important things we probably learnt off of each other....at least I know I learnt them from you..."
  14. Bo nodded a little, smiling to himself. He knew the kind of thing Luke would want to say or be thinking at that moment, he didn't need it to be said. Looking at a couple more pictures he smiled more at the thought that, just like the pictures, near all the memories of life he had included Luke. Over the years they'd been through lots together, taught each other things....yes even Bo had taught Luke a thing or two.
  15. Bo looked to him with a small smile, even after so many years he was not used to that kind of sentimental revelation from Luke. Looking back to the picture, he nodded a little as he thought on that. For as long as he could remember Luke had been showing him how things were done. "S'nice..."
  16. Bo chuckled, taking the book and looking at the picture again. "Did Auntie and Uncle Jesse get to teach me anything when I was a kid or did you do it all?" He asked jokingly.
  17. "You ain't scared of heights now but ya were till that GIRL threw ya out the classroom window!" Bo said back with a laugh, knowing Luke tried to avoid that subject as much as possible.
  18. "Well you see I followed ya cause yer big ego always guarenteed to give me a safe landin if I fell over! It's like a big ol' trampoline. I never understood why you was so afraid of heights, yer ego would just bounce ya straight back up again, no harm done!" Bo retorted back as he flicked through the photo album some more.
  19. "Yeah yeah yeah I knew that was comin'. Yer just jealous cause you just ain't agin gracefully." Bo retorted with a smirk, shaking his head. "Shoulda known my first word woulda been somethin t'do with you....Auntie an Uncle Jesse always did say we was joined at the hip...in fact Uncle Jesse still says we are..."
  20. Bo shrieked happily as Luke tickled him, wriggling as he laughed, waving his arms and legs up and down happily while Lavinia looked on with a smile before hurrying out to tell Jesse the good news about Bo's first word.
  21. Bo babbled after Luke spoke, as if giving him the reassurance that Luke was seeking. After looking at Luke's mouth a little bit more and pulling several questioning, and rather funny faces, he decided he didn't like the atmosphere anymore between them all and promptly moved his hand from exploring Luke's mouth to bopping him on the nose with a baby laugh.
  22. Lavinia watched with a smile as Luke hugged Bo close, seeing that Bo felt better about the situation now Luke was talking to him and hugging him. Course, Bo didn't say so...he didn't really say anything else, but just looked at Luke's mouth as he spoke with wide blue eyes before putting his little hand over it. He could clearly see something was different. "All gone Bo...look...* Lavinia said gently, pointing to the gap in Luke's teeth now. "Gone..." Bo looked between Lavinia and where she was pointing, not understanding exactly what was gone but understanding that there was supposed to be something in the gap. Waving his arms, he bounced up and down a little bit in Luke's hug.
  23. "I...I think so..." Lavinia said, her eyes wide with excitement and pride as she looked to Luke then back to Bo who was still, being unaware of what achievement he had made, tugging at Luke's pant leg and saying worriedly. "Wuke...wuke....wuke..."
  24. Lavinia giggled as he did, shaking her head softly with a smile. "Yeah it will for a lil bit Luke, takes time to get used to change remember. Soon enough though you'll feel yer new teeth startin' to grow. Losin yer baby teeth is somethin to be proud of, shows yer growin' up like I said..." She stopped dead though as a small whimper from by Luke's feet sounded, little Bo sitting there tugging as Luke's pant leg...although it wasn't just a whimper...it was a whimper that sounded remarkably like... "Wuke...."
  25. "Of course you are Luke." She said with a smile, running a hand through his wild dark curls softly as she finished wiping the last of the blood from his chin tenderly. "And just think, the tooth fairy is gonna sure be pleased to know two of your teeth have gone instead of one. It don't matter if they're under your pillow or not, she still knows that they're gone and she'll pay you double because of it! Especially since you took such good care of them." During the commotion, Bo hadn't moved an inch, watching the scene in the kitchen curiously. He was at a loss as to what to do...half wanting to cry and half wanting to just watch what was happening. One thing for sure though was that the little kid was worried. When neither Luke nor Lavinia was looking as they went back into conversation, he pushed himself into sitting and leant forward to get on his hands and knees, crawling over to them both slowly.
