Bo nodded as Luke was talking, reaching up weakly and gently with his hand taking Luke's other, holding them both so he could gently but painfully pull himself into sitting and take Luke into a proper brotherly hug. "Luke...if'n...ya hadn't....gone we....would b...both be here....now....hangin' on...onta life....by a thread....or sleepin'...with the fishes wi...with some new...concereate boots....I love ya Luke....ain't nothin'....ever gon' change that....ya did....right by me...no matter wha' you...or anyone else thinks...." Daisy nodded and sighed happily. Bo really was doing okay, and whille it would be sometime before he was back driving the General around and sleeping properly, she knew he would be okay.

Yeah that's what i've heard too and it would make sense for people to make that connection in Bo. It would have been nice to have an episode of the Dukes where they reflect on their past lives, I know there;s a new movie coming out about it, but it just isnt the same with John and Tom. Ah well...that's what fan fiction and round robins are for :-)

Awww yeah but then that's just Bo isnt it. And, yes there is a fight where he didn't elbow someone in the stomach, the one with Luke in the Carnival of Thrills. He does the shaky hand thing but doesn't do the awsomly cute head thing. I love those fights between Bo and Luke, they seem so real which makes them all the more upsetting when they go at each other. :-(

Yeah but if you had kept Luke so jolly and all fun loving, it wouldn't have shown his growth as a character because both boys, although with Bo it is debatable, grow up over the seasons and Luke takes on more and more the role of preparing to become the Duke patriarch after Jesse dies and without that, you'd have doubts about how well a job Luke could actually do. I love his jolly character and all, and you still see it in things like Christmas Dukes and when he's teasing Bo, but everyone unfortunatly grows up and like that progress in Dukes that you dont see so clearly in other tv shows anymore.

Also, in Goodbye General Lee, unconcious underneath the car and sleeping in the hospital when they're hypnotising him.

Poor Luke does seem to get hurt more than Bo, which is kinda appropriate when you think about it. He spends his whole life looking after Bo and trying to make sure he's alright that he's bound to get hurt more because he's more focused on Bo to concentrate on what he's doing. It's never mentioned in the show but you can see it kinda if you look closely. His focus is always on how Bo is doing and not really on what is going on with him and his group of bad guys lol.

Don'r forget the evil grin and laugh in Goodbye General Lee..so darn cute but such an upsetting epsiode!

Has to be the one from Route 7-11. Daisy: Luke's got that look in his eye again... Bo: Yeah. Right after he gets that he goes 'I got it, let's go Bo' and I get in trouble. Luke: *grins as he comes out of his thinking stupor and snaps his fingers* I got it! Let's go Bo! Love it, gives me giggles everytime

I think the best fight scenes he ever did were when he was against Bo to be honest. There is so much emotion and hurt behind those punches sometimes, especially in Carnival of Thrills, and the two play off each other so well in those fights it just doesn't look as coreographed as the other fight scenes do. They really look like the mean to punch each other and that is what makes it so realistic.

Yeah I agree with all the above. I am not a fan of Coy and Vance and can understand Tom's anger at their poor portrayal of being a replacement Bo and Luke. The show was a lot of fun and as is said by the producer on one of the season's extra's, after season 5 the show lost ratings and maybe if the replacements hadn't been so poor and the negotiations with John and Tom were done before they could walk out, then the show could have continued for a longer run. Then again, it isn't the actors fault that their portrayal, the writers and producers made them that way unfortunatly. So there, Tom's anger towards them was unjustified. I dont like Coy and Vance personally, definfitly a low in Dukes, but I can understand where Tom is coming from there.

Bo nodded and sighed softly and gently in relief. He wished it wasn't so hard to breath but he had to admit, it felt better than being drugged up to his eyeballs and feeling sicker than a dog all the time. He got sick twinges sometimes because he was still on a fair amount of the medication, but it was keeping him largly comfortable so he wasn't about to complain. He just couldn't wait to get home. Reaching over, he took Luke's (he now noticed with a frown) shaking hand, looking to his cousin and seeing now the fear and guilt that resated in his older brother's eyes. He sighed and shook his head, squeezing the hand softly. "Luke...s'matter?"

Daisy nodded. "Yeah I know....well they may be able to get off light..so long as Jesse doesn't find out it was shine he was drinking and that Bo made passes at Luke and stuff....basically if Jesse asks for details....then there may not be much more left of Bo by the time we get back..." Bo sighed with relief as Jesse dropped the subject, leaning back against the pillows.

Bo quickly managed to get his breathing back under control, punching Luke gently in the arm with a small smile for what he had earlier said before resting his head back and looking to the others who all wore worried expressions. He grinned a little again and said slowly. "What....when have...ya ever known....me to make a ....quiet entrance back....into the world...."
