When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo looked up as the two Davenports walked in and smiled, resting back against the couch, feeling imprisoned between the two people sitting beside him. "I'm alright thanks....jus' plannin' a breakout...wanna help?" He said with a grin, gesturing to Jesse and Luke.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo breathed like Luke told him to, eventually managing to get the coughing fit under control. He really didn't understand where it had come from, seeing as he wasn't ill just bruised black and blue all over really. He looked up and accepted the water thankfully, but had to get Luke to help him drink it as his body was trembling so hard from the coughing fit that if he held the glass it would spill the water everywhere.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo sighed and thanked Luke as he was put on the couch, smiling as he was able to sit and relax in his own living room by the gentle fire in the fireplace. He had missed this so much...there were no tubes or wires here, just the love of his family and the cosiness of the farm. When Jesse and Daisy entered, he looked up and hugged Daisy as she came over to help get him settled more, but not missing the look that Jesse gave Luke. Before anything could be said, he immidiatly jumped in. "Uncle Jesse....don't be...mad at Luke...ain't fair to,...punish him....I asked him ta...go faster an'...at first he said no...but then I said somethin'...an' we stopped to talk...an' then we hd to catch up....please don't punish him Uncle Jesse....please..." He said desperatly, not wanting Luke to get in trouble because he had halped Bo to enjoy himself for the first time since the incident. He ended the speech with a harsh sounding cough, reaching for Luke blindly with his hand as he leant forward a little.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo stirred. not realising he had fallen asleep on the journey, smiling as he saw the farm he had missed for so many weeks after looking at nothing but the four walls of his hospital room.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo chuckled and nodded, looking back to the front again. He might be able to get luke out of it when they got home, he usually could. Closing his eyes he enjoyed the rest of the ride with a contented smile on his face

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo glanced back and saw the glare Uncle Jesse had on his face, swallowing gently and noticing Daisy talking to him. "You better hope Daisy can calm....Uncle Jesse down or yer....gonna get such a switchin' when we...get back home..."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo looked to him and smiled a little. "Would love ta...we'll have ta make it up to the General though...he's gonna be so insulted...he looks about ready to up and die he's going so slow...."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
"S'....just a cough Luke.....ain't nothing bad....Doc said it'd...be gone in a week or two....m'sorry fer scarin' ya so..." he sat back with a small sigh in his seat, smiling a little at the fact Luke had sped up a little way, but knowing that it was not only going to take himself a long time to recover from all this....but his family was going to have a long recovery ahead of them too...especially Luke.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo sighed and nodded "Yeah I'd fine....heck Luke...I didn't mean...fer ya ta take this so seriously....was gonna say...I's gonna die cause....everyone's gonna...smother me until I can't....breathe.....didn't expect ya ta react do badly....what's the matter Luke?"
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo jerked forward when Luke unexpectedly slammed on the brakes, bracing himself on the dashboard but still having the seatbelt crush his sore and healing chest, making him cough a little again and wheeze. "Luke! Wh....what the...hell....are ya....try...tryin' ta do!"
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo didn't miss the slightl 'corner of the eye' glance that Luke gave him when his coughing fit started, or the visable relaxation of his shoulder muscles when it subsided. He smiled slightly to himself before putting on a serious face and looking to Luke, swallowing a little. "Ya know....I could still die yet...."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo chuckled a little, coughing slightly at the end before settling back again and watching the scenery pass.

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo smiled and nodded, saying hopefully "So yer sayin' if Uncle Jesse weren't around, there wouldn't be nothin' ta stop ya?!
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo shrugged "I think so.....the General's never gone so slow before, there has to be somethin' wrong with him an' Dixie too...." With a small smile, he looked to Luke. "An' i know what the problem is too....I ain't some procalain doll Luke, I can handle a bit of rought drivin....."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo sighed and sat back, shaking his head. This was how it would be or a couple of weeks, everyone would be treating him like some percious porcelain doll that they were all too afraid to play with. He watched as the General drove ahead of them frowning a little. "Hey Luke....somethin' wrong with the General?"

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo obidiently got into the passenger seat, allowing them to strap him securly but pain-free into the seat and settling back so he could enjoy the ride, knowing what he was planning would have to be done at night....
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo was very gald for their support, seeing as most movement was still quite painful and any over exerction made him very short of breath. He walked out the hospital and felt a small pang when he saw the General sitting there with Dixie parked next to it, knowing how long it would before he got to ride in him again. He didn't however mope in it for too long as a plan formed in his head...they said he couldn't drive in the General....not that he couldn't drive at all....
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo rested in his cousin's arms, leaning his head on his shoulder with a small sigh. He had a long way to go before the doctor's deemed him fit enough to drive again and get on with his life as before. But get through it he would because he had Luke, Daisy and Uncle Jesse to help him through. Softly, after a little while, he mumbled. "M'sorry Luke....can....can we go home now?...please..."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo swallowed and nodded gently. To be honest, the thought of settling down actually scared him a little, the fact that the comfortable life he had with Luke, Jesse and Daisy would have to come to an end eventually and everything would change was a scary prospect to think about and not one that Bo actually enjoyed thinking about most of the time. But he could see where Luke was coming from, and he knew just how bad Luke wanted children and he did too when he really thought about it. He sighed softly and reached out to pull Luke close, wanting to feel secure in his arms as he always had done ever since he was little.
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo nodded slightly as he looked down again, squeezing Luke's back a little before taking a deep breath and whispering softly. "I just....I wanted to have done it by now ya know....so I can move on with my life...find someone to settle down with...start a family....I can't do that until I's gone to NASCAR, it wouldn't be fair on them to have me away all the time....an' also ya might not be feelin' the same way....don't ya ever wonder Luke...what would happen if we actually found someone so special all yer dreams are focused on them an' ya forget what ya's wanted ta do fer so long...."

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo's bottom lip wobbled a little before he bit on it to stop it, breathing deeply to stop the tears spilling from his eyes. He was about to say something else but couldn't for the life of him remember what it was. He just knew, that he loved Luke like a brother and for a while now he just felt that luke deserved better than to have to live his life alongside him all the time. Luke could be anything he wanted with his brains and skills from the Marine's and from working on the farm...Bo on the other hand didn't have half of what Luke had. He was always known as Luke's younger cousin, the little blonde haired boy who nearly failed to make graduation and now spent his time on his Uncle's farm doing nothing but racing round the back roads of Hazzard. He would never tell Luke that though, never in a million years for fear that what he was thinking was true. At least not telling him meant there was still a chance Luke was happy to go alongside him. Instead he just nodded quietly and whispered. "I'm sorry...I's just...I...I wanted to go so bad..."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo swallowed and yelled back "I ain't using Uncle Jesse an' the farm as an excuse! I'm usin' the basis that we could have got there by now if I hadn't been drivin' the dang car when we got caught runnin' shine! Or if I hadn't made enemies in the reserve corps we could have gone next week! It's all my fault, you should just go without me....at least then ya have a shot!"
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo shook his head, sighing deeply himself as his anger was soon replaced with tears "I ain't givin' up it.....it just seems like the whole world is...dead set on keepin' us here. Recently....I's just been askin' myself why we even bother tryin' anymore..."
-
When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo shrugged him off sharply and looked to him "It matters to me! I's been waitin' and waitin' fer this an' you know that we won't get to next year because its just our dang luck! The farm's done real well which was why Uncle Jesse was gonna let us try out! But ya just know next year we ain't gonna be able to go! We're never gonna get out of this state!" Bo finished with his voice breaking, his head going to his hands in furstration.,

When Friends Ain't Friends...
Bo sighed miserably "Not next week like we's was plannin'...the try outs an' all....
