Last year on the social media channels, I ran HazzardNet Hysteria (the Dukes version of March Madness). It didn't even occur to me to post about it on the forums. I will be posting polls here for y'all to vote too. Last year it was characters and Uncle Jesse won. This year, it's Battle of the Episodes. And since y'all are the most avid supporters of HazzardNet, you get first crack at the polls! I'll post them here first.

I hope everyone weathered those high winds ok. It's been pretty windy here too. Probably should've secured the ceiling fans on the back patio. Whizz!

I don't know if you ever saw the 60's tv show "The Invaders", but the dead giveaway to spot the aliens was their pinky finger. AI, it's the hands. Coincidence?

Here's your one chance, Fancy, don't let me down. ๐ถ That's about as fancy as I get.

I was searching the internet for a map of Hazzard county to determine the surrounding counties and guess where it led me? ๐ All roads lead back to Hazzard...Net. Even when I'm playing around with AI, it tells me its source is HazzardNet. Y'all have helped me build something awesome here.

That's basically why I made it these colors. High contrast, but a bit easier on the eyes. That said, if there are enough people who would like a lighter theme, I can create one and allow people to choose which one they want.

Hey y'all, there are some new features with the latest version of the forum software AND there will be even more features coming with version 5. I thought I'd open a topic to highlight some of them. In the very right of the forum menu, you'll see a new link for Clubs. Registered members who are no longer on probation (we moderate a number of posts before you get off probation in order to keep the spamming to a minimum) can create their own clubs and invite members to join. Keep it family friendly, of course. Let me know what you all think of the new feature. As I find out what's in the next upgrade, I'll post more about it here.

I'm going to be doing some Spring cleaning around here, so if I break anything, let me know. ๐ Also, if you have suggestions for topics or forums that no longer serve a purpose and should be deleted, post links in comments here. (Or PM me!)

Yes! In fact, I already had a post ready for the facebook page next week about "Flush", the "stunt dog".

Power slides were the best. I LOVED sliding. ๐

I did watch it during its original run. I had a Big Wheel too, but it wasn't the General Lee version.

What I'm Doing Right Now!

Instructions if you're on a laptop or desktop: If you search on Bing and you find a video that's on YouTube, in the lower right hand corner of the video (to the right of the gear), there's "YouTube". Hover over that and it says "Watch on YouTube". Click on that, it will take you to YouTube, once the video starts playing, you can either copy the URL from the browser address bar or right click on the video and click "Copy video URL". Then just past that into your comment in the forums and the video should show up. -
What I'm Doing Right Now!

There have been studies showing that smart people prefer to watch shows with thought-provoking content. I think Scooby Doo and Dukes of Hazzard qualify, don't you? -
Welcome to HazzardNet!

Hoss and I (mostly Hoss ) have been working behind the scenes to build a Dukes of Hazzard wiki. If you would like to contribute any information that may be missing, make suggestions, or correct any erroneous info you might find, post about it in this forum. You can view the wiki here.

Yes. In fact, I think there is also audio/video capability for those who'd want to try that.
-
Yep. I will set everything up at the website and start the video at the specified time. No need to try to synchronize anything. That said, if you're a little late, you'll miss some stuff.

Would anyone be interested in having episode watch parties? I can't promise any sort of frequency, but I would love to re-watch the series again with you guys. If you're interested, comment with the days of the week and times that are best for you and I'll try to schedule something that works for the majority. I might be able to schedule a second viewing for folks across the pond. I would also like some volunteers to test things out with me on the website we'll be using.

I hope things are getting better for you, Roger. The loss of someone you care about hits hard, as I know all too well.
