  1. I won’t lie… my primary reason for going was to see John. And really it wasn't so much about meeting him and getting his autograph... believe it or not I really wanted to hear him sing more than anything else. I've been listening to his music non-stop lately and just can't get enough of it. But anyway now that I've gone to my first Dukesfest I would definitely go back even if none of the cast members were there. It's just a great environment and there's so much to see and do and so many great people to meet from all over the world who love the show just as much as you do. I hope to make it back in the coming years.
  2. Ultimately I like Bo driving the General better. And for awhile it was almost strange to see Luke driving the General because he didn't seem to do it much in the first couple seasons, but it seems like now (in terms of the order they're being showed on CMT) he does it much more often and I'm getting more used to seeing it. I like them both but I'm still a bit partial to Bo. If I had to guess the reason Bo drives most of the time is because John was the better driver... and that's not my opinion that's a direct quote from the stunt guy on the CMT Inside Fame special they did on the show. Tom was the better fighter apparently.
  3. In High Octane towards the beginning when the Dukes have just left Ms. Huntley's office and Rosco comes in and they're watching them talk down by the General and Bo and Luke had just bought some copper tubing and Rosco thinks it's for moon shining... Ms. Huntley: It's probably for their pickup truck... or maybe their car. Rosco: And maybe my Aunt Tilly had a sex change and is now my uncle...
  4. If I had to guess I'd say it was suppose to air real early in the second season. I say that because in the first season and 2nd episode of the 2nd season the titles of the episodes didn't have quotes around them when they show them at the beginning of each episode but all the episodes after that do. Uncle Boss does not. And yes I'm aware that, that's a really strange thing to notice.
  5. We have a subscription to TV Guide and got next weeks today and they have a section called Oh Daddy! which is a list of TV's hottest dad's and John Schneider is honored for his role as Jonathan Kent. I thought that was neat and much deserved! Anyway as for the show itself I can't really get into it. Plus the reruns they show on ABC Family come on at the same time as Dukes and for me Dukes is more important and more my kind of show. I have been renting the seasons from netflix though but I admit I often end up fast forwarding to the John scenes. I just saw the episode where John gets sick after a flower sneezed in his face or something and he went kind of wild for the first bit of the episode before slipping into a coma... that was fun to see. I also liked at the beginning of that episode when he was driving his truck he was listening to Good Ol' Boys. I just love it when they do things like that. Has anyone seen his movie Mary Christmas... there's a scene where John's character is on the phone and they pan across the table and there's a toy General Lee. Or in 10.5 when he and his daughter go off roading and he says something like, 'man I miss doing this... yeee haaa!' I think it's safe to say there's still quite a bit of Bo in Mr. Schneider.
  6. Hey all, I just got back and wrote a long entry complete with photos in my livejournal if anyone is interested I'll just give the link rather than pasting it here. http://www.livejournal.com/users/sway4829/90949.html Fair warning... it's kinda John Schneider centered.
  7. The one on my DVD set has it as two seperate episodes. I thought maybe they would use the feature length version since it says something about it on the box calling it a feature lengeth episode but it is split into two episodes at least in my set.
  8. I was so happy to see the three of them together again. Especially Tom since it seems like he's always too busy to participate. After watching it, it almost sounds like they went to New York just so Tom could participate. I just love the relationship between all the cast members and crew of the show. It seems like a lot of actors who got their big break on some show once it's over want to forget all about it and just move on to bigger and better things, but it really seems like everyone on the Dukes has such fond memories of working together on the show and keep in touch and really care about each other.
  9. I just got the 3rd season DVD and saw this episode for the first time. Awhile back I was reading episode guides on tvtome.com and it said this: Carnival of Thrills 2" is one of the few episodes offering a suggestive scene -- where a bare-chested Bo and an apparently naked Diane kiss passionately. The way it's depicted, it's obvious that was just a warm-up. No love-making scenes are shown, however; this scene is simply a transition from one act to another. But after seeing it I saw no such scene, not that I was looking forward to it mind you. I just thought it was strange that it was mentioned and not shown when the DVDs are suppose to be un-edited. Was it edited for the DVD or does it not exist in the first place.
  10. I'm still a relatively new Dukes fan... I've been watching religiously on CMT. And have all three seasons... including the third that came out today that I went to the 24 hr. Wal-Mart to go get at 2am this morning. I really like Bo's blue shirt and I noticed they did away with it a bit during the third season and then brought it back towards the end but now in the last few episodes it's gone again and he's just wearing the yellow shirt buttoned up about half way... which don't get me wrong I love looking at John's fabulous chest but I live for scenes where he's just wearing that wonderfully fitting blue shirt. Can someone tell me if it'll be coming back anytime soon?
  11. Just got my tickets in the mail today. I'm so excited I can't hardly stand it.
