Eddiemunster Posted February 23, 2005 Report Share Posted February 23, 2005 Theres an episode, "Happy Birthday General Lee", I believe it's called, where they show how Bo and Luke got it. They already had an engine built, but no car yet. A couple of bank robbers had a black '69 Charger as their getaway car. When they get caught, somehow the impounded Charger gets sold to a junk yard. So, Bo and Luke find it in the junk yard and buy it. Of course, the only color paint that Cooter had was orange, and they proceed to fix it up. The rest is history.
