This is so shocking!!He was only 60.

Yet in those brief 60 years he managed to help get Dukes and many other movies, commercials and tv shows on the map. One of my personal favourite stunts of Allan's was the Grannie Annie train jump in the General Lee.

A little known fact about Allan is that he always wore flip flops whilst doing car stunts.

R.I.P Allan, you will never be forgotten.

Phyllis chimed in on the FB post I just put up, and said this:

"For those of you wanting to send condolences to Al's family the address is Al Wyatt, Jr. PO Box 6596 Malibu, CA 90264 I am the person who originally posted the information about Al's passing and it came from Tom Sarmento."

Link - there is a nice picture of him & John dressed alike, along with tv & film credits. General Lee jump slide show.

Not sure when that page was made or updated, says his son was going to be a 3rd generation stunt professional.

Thoughts & prayers for family and friends. RIP Mr. Wyatt

It is truly sad to hear about Al Wyatt. Even though he wasn't front and center on the DOH, he was just as important. All the stunt work and backstage work on the show brought all we love to the TV screen.

We have lost way too many people from the BEST show on TV.

I'm gone
