I checked out the Facebook page for Pepsi Throwback tonight, and was completely surprised to find a reference to our favorite TV show! Take a look, it's near the bottom - one of the earliest posts on the page.

(I think you have to be a Facebook member to see it)

It said:

"Let's settle this once and for all. Which car was better – Kit from Knight Rider, the General Lee from Dukes of Hazard, or do we have some old-schoolers bringing Herbie to the table?"

Of course, I answered The General Lee! I couldn't do anything else - now could I?

So check it out - and if you haven't tried Throwback...it's awesome!

They did a countdown called 'TV's Greatest Cars' on UK channel Sky One a few years ago. I thought I'd just be able to Google a list or find it on YouTube, but it obviously didn't make much of an impression. I did find one list of the top ten which I couldn't double check, but seems about right from memory:

10) Mini from 'Mr. Bean'

9) Ferrari Testarossa and Daytona Spider from 'Miami Vice'

8) BA's van from 'The A-Team'

7) Ferrari 308 GTS from 'Magnum P.I.'

6) Lotus Elan, Bentley, TR7, XJS and XJC from 'The Avengers'

5) The Batmobile from 'Batman' ('60s)

4) Del Boy's 3 Wheeler van from 'Only Fools and Horses' (popular British comedy)

3) Gran Torino from 'Starsky and Hutch'

2) KITT from 'Knight Rider'

1) General Lee from 'The Dukes of Hazzard'

I think the sequel, 'Movies' Greatest Cars', had James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 from 'Goldfinger' at #1.
