Tempest66
Cool!! Thanks for looking into Avatars for us!! But what pic would I use??? One quick question.....I looked around on the forums, but I couldn't find a spot devoted to questions/comments about Dukes of Hazzard Memorabilia? I've had things from when I was little, but I've started to become a serious collector and I think it would be awesome to have a place devoted to those types of questions on the forum. Just a thought !
R.J.1984
Tempest66 - Try Dave's Dukes Of Hazzard Home Page. You can find the address on Google. Sorry don't know it by heart. But that is a good site for Dukes Of Hazzard - it has numerous items such as quotes from the show as well as picture and other things. Just thought you might want to know. R.J.1984
So long as people find out about this site - I don't think that there should be a problem. Providing that people are carefull with who they tell so that no viruses find their way here - I don't think that giving people internet site addresses for the same topic for a different site is a bad thing. Let me know how you feel - O.K people. look forward to hearing from ya'll.
Capt_Redneck
I just don't want to be over steppin' on this...I don't like to do something like that and get someone mad at it....This is not my site and they might have rules about it..Darrell
MaryAnne
Well we don't encourage open advertising of other sites here but we don't shut the door on sharing information with all Dukes fans. In other words, if you came here to HNet, joined the forums here and posted a message that said...HEY COME CHECK OUT MY DUKES SITE!! BETTER THAN HNET!! FREE BEER!! LOTS OF DAISY PICS!!! http ://www.mydukessiterocks.com...we'd have to cuff ya an' stuff ya. That's a no no. LOL. That also goes for joining up and saying something like....Hi, newbie here. I'm building my own Dukes site, not much there now but it'll have forums and movie updates and DVD stuff. And then we go and check out your site and find you swiped everything word for word including font style from Hnet. Well, we wouldn't dig that either and would have to cuff ya and stuff ya. LOL.Now for the case in point, there's nothing wrong with sharing information/site addresses in answer to a particular question or inquiry. However we prefer folks do it through the PM system if it's a link to a Dukes site that may or may not be endorsed by HNet (or they in turn may not endorse us. See what I'm getting at here? LOL).Official links such as news items from news sources (Yahoo, Reuters, CNN, ect...) , links to Dukes related products for sale (such as on amazon.com, ect.), links to Dukes references from third party sites (the photoshop pics that Doc has posted the links to), Duke themed quizes, ect. ect. are fine. If you're not sure, send a PM to the person you're replying to with the link and send the link to a moderator or admin too and we'll letcha know. In other words, we won't object unless it's objectionable. 8)
Capt_Redneck
MaryAnne. Thank you for the rules..I am sorry I posted that link. I didn't even think of using the PM system to send it. Like I said I don't want to be over steppin' my bounds....Once again my apologies for doing that . Now will you take me to the Hazzard County Jail cuffed??
