Thanks everyone! Nice to meet y'all, it looks like it'll be a nice place to hang out.

I'm assuming you're in the US, and wondered whether you ever got to see Hugh 'House' Laurie play the part of Bertie Wooster alongside his old comedy partner Stephen Fry as Jeeves.
Yes to both! I caught it when my local PBS station reran Jeeves & Wooster a couple years after it originally aired, and it was what made me a Fry & Laurie fan. It's thoroughly charming and I still go back and re-watch it every once in a while.
I like the idea of Discworld as a specialist subject.

I don't read much fiction these days, but my main exceptions are Terry Pratchett (Discworld and Good Omens--glad to see other fans here), P.G Wodehouse (Jeeves), and Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes).

Never been fortunate enough to own my own horse but I did ride (English) for a year or two at a local ranch when I was in middle school. I still love horses and I miss riding, but it's expensive around here!

Hey, I'm glad to find this site. I've been a Dukes fan ever since the other kids in my neighborhood introduced me to it way back when, when I was too young to really catch everything that happened, even...but I sure knew I liked that car!
I'm a bit of a crafter and just finished a Dukes project, so I'll be posting that over to the Hobbies section after I get the hang of this forum.
Thanks to HossC and RogerDuke for the nice welcomes.

The General Lee...in plush

So in my spare time I sometimes make plush models of things out of felt and stuffing. Now I hadn't designed any new ones since 2009, but when I started re-watching Dukes earlier this year, I knew...I KNEW...what the next one had to be.
He's about 10.5" long. It took a lot of reference pics/screenshots and scratch paper to puzzle out the geometry, but I love how he turned out.
Now he sits on my sofa in front of my TV.
