  1. Roscoe: That may be true, but . . .well Enos, you know he signed on because he thought he could become the kind of man that Daisy needed. Of corse she loves him anyway, but that's what he thought. He needed to prove to himself that he was the kind of man she needed.
  2. Roscoe: All right. *sighs as Enos goes to do what Boss told him to.* Boss: We now that's better. Roscoe: Well that was Enos, but I can tell you this because Lulu's my sister. Boss you are the meanest man I have ever met. All Enos wanted to do is stay with Daisy today. She's worrried sick over my godson and on the other hand she thinks that he wants to leave her. I know you're my little buddy but sometimes . . .a lot you go too far with Enos.
  3. Enos: *sighs* yes sir. Roscoe: Now Boss . . .what if Enos gets hurt? Daisy's all ready worried enough as it is.
  4. Roscoe: Now Boss, you can't do that to him. He's worried to death about daisy. He loves her. . .like my sister does you. Enos: What do you want me to do Mr. Hogg?
  5. Boss: *nods* So that's why Daisy's been out so much. Well . . .Enos I reckon i'll have to give you a harder job to keep your mind off it.
  6. Suddenly Boss comes in Boss: Enos, what is it bothering you? *he sighed having forgotten to mention the sitiuation. Boss had known that Daisy was out because of the twins, but Enos had only briefly mentioned it*
  7. Roscoe: Enos . . .don't you think I'm worried too? He is my godson. Daisy will call if there's something we need to know.
  8. Jesse: *hugs her close* All right baby. I know it's your life. All I'm saying is that it's all in his hands. maybe Andrew was just meant to be like that. At the Sheriff station Roscoe: Enos for goodness sake would you stop pacing?
  9. Jesse: Well . . .what about that Daisy? I know you're beating yourself up right now over this, but I can tell that Enos is happy . . .I mean he's worried about Andrew and you, but well . . .Daisy just because Andrew had his problems doesn't mean that it will happen again.
  10. Jesse: I know he would Daisy. I know you and Enos always wanted a family and all. Remember you told us that you wanted five or seven kids once.
  11. (I was waiting for her to think that) Jesse: I understand baby. Daisy: i really am Uncle Jesse. I know I said that Enos probably couldn't handle it if I had anymore, but he seems to be coping better than I am. Hmm, I wonder how he and Roscoe are going to get lunch today.
  12. Daisy: *nods* Doc: Daisy . . .id' like to take Andrew to do some tests. We might need to do some other things to him, but I'll keep you up to date. Daisy: *nods and gives Andrew's tiny hand a small kiss before he is taken away*
  13. Daisy: I know Uncle Jesse, but well . . .I know that Andrea is affected by all this. She never smiles. i don't know if it's that she senses her brother's pain or if it's me. If i could i'd sing something different. I know Andrea's having as hard a time as her brother.
  14. Daisy: I know. Uncle Jesse . . .I wish I could have it in my heart to sing something esle. I know they're small, but I think the twins are being affected by it. Enos . . .a while ago when all this started siad one night when i was singing Concrete Angel . . .said that it bothered him. He's said it a lot.
  15. Daisy: Well . . .Uncle Jesse. Ever since the twins were two . . .even not long after they were born, but really when they were two months. I've had Concrete Angel as that song. Last night I started singing Blues Man . . .I think i sang it at least a couple times. What do you think about it Uncle Jesse?
  16. Daisy: Well . . .what are some of those songs Ucle Jesse and what were you feeling when you sang them. what had happened to make you sing them.
  17. Jesse: Don't worry baby. Daisy: Uncle Jesse . . .have you ever had a song in your head you couldn't stop singing because you felt that it was true?
  18. *Enos and Roscoe leave so Daisy is left with Uncle Jesse and Andrea*
  19. Daisy: All right. *gives him a kiss* Explain what's with me to Boss. You know we both don't need to get fired.
  20. Daisy: Yeah i reckon so. You and Roscoe head on to work. I'll be fine with Uncle Jesse. It'll be a long day.
  21. Doc: I'm so sorry Daisy. I'm planning on starting him on it today . . .maybe tomorrow. I want to do some more tests first. He'll need the treatmet i just need to do more tests. Daisy: okay *Doc leaves* Daisy: Baby you ain't got to prove to me your'e some kinda macho man. I've got to prove it to you.
  22. Just then Doc comes in and checks Andrew again Enos: Well doc . . .what is it? *takes Daisy's hand*
