Elly: At the Boar's Nest? Well . .I guess when I'm old enough, but I meant something I could do when I was eighteen.

Cooter: Now Daisy. . .you know that ain't true. . .you're a good mama.

Luke: Come on *the two of them head off in the little truck that Luke drives.

When they get there Jesse pulls out the cross and a few candles which he lights while Cooter looks out at the darkening sky

Luke: Me too, but we have to go to school.

Elly: What's wrong with y'all?

Daisy goes to sleep and Jesse goes out to the fields

Jesse helps Cooter into the truck and the two of them drive out to the graveyard.

Elly: oh. . .yeah I guess I forget cause this is my last year. . .then *sigh* How on earth I'd get a job. . .Boss would never hire me for anything.

Jesse: You get some rest baby. . .I'll be out in the fields if you need me.

Elly: How not? (I know)

Jesse: *picks up a few other things* Wanna go on out there and put it on his grave?

(Me either, but I think she might. . .she's so carring and all. . .like that once when she landed Enos in Jail 'I'm the one who opened my big mouth' I think she might, but who knows. . .wish they'd had anotehr season of it) Just then Cooter comes in with Elly and Mary Cooter: We pick a bad time?

Jesse: *hands him a little tiny painted wooden car with little tiny wings* Here. . .help me glue this on.

Jesse: You two cook just fine (You know I was watching an ep the other day and Daisy was makin snap beans I think . . .for some reason I smile whenever I see her cookin)

Jesse: She's just fine. . it's you id' worry about *pours the medicine and gives it to her*

(You really think Daisy would be that hard on herself?) Lily: *hugs her* No you're not mama. . .you try your best.

Elly: Me too. . .well better anyway.

Jesse: *puts Macy in her crib and then goes to give Daisy her medicine*

Jesse: Cooter. . .who was your dad's favorite driver in the race?

Lily: What can we do mama?

In the barn Jesse shows Cooter a little cross that he'd made of wood and looks down at the boy Jesse: Anything you want to add to it boy?
