"Doc are you sure you know what you're talking about? I had a friend who had sleep apnea that was untreated for years. She went in for a study because she was always tired during the day. Apparently it only lasts for about a minute before the person wakes a bit and starts breathing again." Lizzy says.

"It happens. Daisy I should be going I've got to go check in with my dad and...er yeah. I'll see you later." Lizzy says.

"Is there anything we can do to fix that?" Lizzy asks.

"So you understand where Tom's coming from." Lizzy says.

Lizzy hangs up the phone after extracting a promise to talk to Elly and slowly Lizzy goes to bed worried about Julie and Jeb's date tomorrow.

"What he said to her is none of your concern. Besides all he did was he said that she ran into Jamie and slept with him two hours after she dumped him. Sorry he was a little upset but he world just got turned upside down." Lizzy says.

"Daisy are you still there?" Lizzy asks.

"It just doesn't make sense and if any of you get angry with Tom for walking out on her well I hope you don't because that ain't right or fair." Lizzy says.

"I forgot to ask, I'm so sorry, how are you feelin'?" Lizzy asks.

"How does that make it fair to Tom?" Lizzy snaps.

"Maybe he'll calm down in the morning. Or maybe Bo can talk to him." Lizzy says.

"You said it yourself she had feelings for James. What I don't understand is why she married Tom if she only dated him to make us angry." Lizzy says.

"That's always good. You know I could talk to Luke if you want me to." Lizzy says.

Lizzy says "But you can't expect Tom to be rational about it if Callie never explained why she wanted him to leave his son. And if she was in love with Jamie Lee all this time why did she marry Tom?"

"Oh Daisy I'm sure he's sorry. I think he's just upset about Bo." Lizzy says.

"Daisy...I...Luke wouldn't..." Lizzy trails off horrified.

"When I came home from the hospital yesterday Dad was real angry about me being there so much. He ended up knocking over the big chair, the real heavy one you know, and it pinned me to the floor. Dad just stood there for a few seconds in shock until I hollered. He pulled it off and walked away. He hasn't spoken to me since. Now it's really bruised up. Now tell me why it looks like someone roughed you up." Lizzy demands.

Lizzy looks at Cooter's shut door and then pulls Daisy into her room shutting and locking the door. When she sees Daisy wince she flips on her beside light and then looks at Daisy carefully. "When I finish I want the honest truth from you." Lizzy says. "Swear it."

"My back just hurts that's all." Lizzy sighs.

The moonlight shimmered a bit and Lizzy caught sight of something on Daisy's arm but shakes her head not wanting to start a fight. She knew if Daisy wanted to talk about it she would. Lizzy herself rubbed at her back where she had caught the chair Cooter had flung out in unrestrained anger and sighed.
