  1. Yes I like Alice also. The show aired almost the same years as DOH('76-85). I'm waiting for the "Mel is Hogg Tied" episode too. I hope ION is still showing it when they get to that episode. There's about 20 or 30 episodes you can watch on In2TV, but Hogg Tied episode is not available. Here's the link.

  2. Well, I've seen all of them now. The 3rd season is the one I bought last. It's one of the best-about as good as the 4th. I saved Carnival of Thrills and My Son Bo Hogg for last 'cause they were supposed to be the best. And they were. There was not one episode that I didn't like-the only other season I can say that for is the 4th.

    Here's how I rate each season(out of 10):

    1st-8.5

    2nd-8

    3rd-9.5

    4th-9.5

    5th-6.5

    6th-7

7th-7.5 If Robot P Coltrane and Strange Visitor to Hazzard were replaced with a couple of good 'shine episodes than I would have given Season 7 a 9.

  3. Most of the DOH seasons are double sided DVDs, and it always seems that the side up seems to get scratched or damaged. There's one side of a disc on Season 1 that won't play at all. And the first time I opened Season 3 yesterday, there was something sticky on the disc. I got the sticky junk off of it, but damaged it in the process. Now one episode skips. Is there a way to buff out the damage or fix it somehow? I still am angry that you can't buy any movies or shows in VHS. If they had released the episodes in EP or SLP on a T-160 tape, you could fit a full season on 2 tapes. Picture quality may not be quite as good, but with a VHS tape at least it will play all the way through. And it's very hard to damage a tape because there's nothing exposed. And VCRs last much longer than a DVD player anyway.

  4. Does anyone even care if the Dukes go off syndication??!! Why hasn't anyone replied to this thread?? Doesn't anyone have any thoughts on this? Isn't anyone bothered by it even a little bit?? Why does it seem like every time I start a thread NO ONE replies to it..EVER?? does everyone here have something against me, or are my posts boring? I think this thread is a serious one, that needs attention! I mean, this is why we're here, we're Dukes supporters right??

I think threads are not responded to because there is not much activity on this site. I don't think it's you. A few days ago I checked CMT's TV guide on the website. According to it, they are supposed to be showing the DOH starting today until ???? I think you can see up to about 2 weeks ahead and DOH is on the schedule all that time. In a few minutes it will be 6:00 central time and I'll see if it's on.

  5. One Armed Bandits

Boss to Uncle Jesse: The hot damn royals!

Boss to Rosco: ...And I get the shine!

Waylon: Explaining ANYTHING to Rosco is NEVER easy, but this time the Boss seems to be gettin' through.

Rosco to the new woman revenuer: They're guilty....You know, nobody's innocent....I'm as country as a bowl of grits and I can't be trusted.

Uncle Jesse: Can we try this engine being that that one over there(pointing to the one Boss tried) is full of water?

Uncle Jesse: All right Rosco, put it back(the car) just the way you found it or I'm suing the county!!

The first episode had so many good quotes.

  6. That too is one of my top favorite episodes. :D

If yall remember when Boss was chasin the General Lee, they came to a train crossing, and a train was coming! :-o That train is my favorite! :p In addition to being a Dukes fan, Im a Railfan (someone who likes trains). You can see in my avatar picture. Also, if yall happen to watch that episode again, you will see what I mean. ;)

Yes I'm a railfan too. I can't decide where I'm going on vacation this year. Either to the Conyers/Covington area to see where the first 5 episodes were filmed or to Wyoming to see all those coal trains being loaded in the mines.

  7. On High Octane, I see a Ford flareside-don't know what year. In some episodes I saw a 1/2 ton, then a few minutes later a 3/4 ton. In most episodes he has a 73-75 Ford, but in Trouble at Cooter's he had a 76-77 for a couple of scenes. Why was this done? Is it because they thought no one would notice? Or was it done to make the show goofier, therefore adding to the comedy?

Another example of this is in High Octane the lady revenue agent has a Ford Granada with round headlights. Next scene she's driving a newer Granada with sqaure headlights.
