Daisy hurried to his room soon after the doctor told her where he was. The doctor looked at Bo, Luke and Rosco, "I guess she's his girlfriend". Rosco and Bo didn't say anything, but Luke sighed. When Daisy entered the room Enos was awake, some bruises on his face and a bandage on his right arm. He smiled, a bit shyly "Hi Dais. Doc told me I've a broken arm, but fortunately I've a tough head. I don't remember what's happened, was I chasing Bo and Luke as usual?".

"I don't know. A doctor told me to wait here. I don't know anything else". Then he jumped, "There.... the doctor who told me to wait here.... he's coming here". Rosco and the Dukes looked at the doctor approaching. They were holding their breath. Luke squeezed Daisy's hand.

Luke hugged her, "Everything will be OK, don't worry". Then he looked in her eyes, "I'm very sorry 'bout tonight". Daisy nodded, "I know Luke, but I don't want to talk 'bout it anymore".

"Finally you're here", said Rosco, his hat in his nervous hands, "We were chasing two men afer a robbery at the Hazzard's bank. A man shot us, and.... I don't know how it happened, but his car had a crash...... in the pond.... he didn't go out the car..... fortunately some fishermen help me to take him out.... I can't swim, you know......". Luke put a hand on his shoulder, "OK, Rosco. Calm you down. It's not your fault"

Luke drove silently the General Lee. Nobody in the car was talking. Sometimes Luke looked at Daisy. He regretted the fight they had last night. He sighed and he kept on driving, heading to the Hospital. When they arrived they went out the car and they run in the Hospital's hall, where they saw Rosco.

"When did it happen?", asked Bo. Luke shook his head, "I don't know exactly.... this morning.... I think. But Rosco was in a flurry, and I didn't understand exactly what he was saying. Anyway, he told me to go to the hospital because of a bad crash". "Bad... How bad?" Luke shook again his head, "I don't know Daisy, I'm sorry. I really don't know"

Bo and Daisy looked at Luke in shock. "Hospital? What's happened, Luke?" "A crash", Luke answered heading to the door, "Come on, Daisy, Bo. Hurry up"

Daisy looked Luke's pale face as he's listening to Rosco. "Luke, what's wrong with Enos?", fear gripped her.

Daisy looked at Luke. She knew his cousin is worried. "Who's calling, Luke? What's happenig?"

"Uh... well.... It's 'bout Enos, Luke"

"This is Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane speakin" His voice sounded worried.

Suddenly the phone rang. Luke answered the phone in order to avoid that discussion.

He tried to take her hand, but he was so nervous he tripped over a stone and he fell at the ground. "I'm really a dumb", he thought.

He nodded silently. Then finally they reached the pond.

Enos stopped the car, and looked at her in shock. "But... Daisy...... You're the best girl here in Hazzard, and not only in Hazzard. You're beautiful... and strong.... and funny.... ", then he looked away again, blushing.

He nodded, "Yeah, I love the pond. It's so quiet out there". In effect Enos was a bit nervous, "Me and Daisy alone at the pond..... I hope I'm not going to do something stupid as usual"

He smiled shyly, "Thank you. I'm glad you like to stay with me" Then he looked away, embarrassed, and he kept on driving the car, "Where do you want to go, Dais? You can choose everything you want"

Enos held his breath. It was the first time Daisy told him something like that. He stopped the car, and he looked in her eyes, "Really?"

Daisy sighed. Enos looked at her, blushing, "What are you thinking, Daisy? Did you...?..... well.... I hope you're not regretting to be here with me tonight", then he stopped. "I'm a dumb", he tought.

Finally they left the farm. Enos was driving silently, while Daisy was looking outside the window. Daisy was thinking it was so strange to date like that. They were friends since childhood, and everyone in Hazzard thought they were only close friends.

Enos held his breath. Daisy was so beautiful in her dress. "Hi Daisy", he said blushing.

Enos kept on thinking, "Yesterday I had the nerve to ask her out, but now I'm very worried", he sighed again, "Why am I so shy?". He took a deep breath, "Well, she said she want to go out with me... so... why am I so scared?" After another deep breath, he left his apartment, driving to the farm.

Finally Enos went to his apartment. He undressed his uniform, he had a shower, and he wore blue-jeans, a white shirt and a blue jaket. Then he looked at his image in the mirror, sighing.

At the Court House Enos was more clumsy than usual 'cause he was thinking 'bout his date with his beloved Daisy. Rosco yelled at him, "Dipstick, what are you thinking?" Enos blushed, "Uh.... well..... sheriff.... I was thinking of Daisy", he laughed tensely. Rosco shook his head, "Such a dipstick".
