  1. *i wont be able to go :( *grumbles something aboout a slow connection*

Oh no. Bummer for you and for me. After reading your post about a slow connection, (and realizing I don't have hi-speed either) I tried to enter my e-mail on their website and got the following message: "This form has not been submitted due to the following error: You are coming from an unauthorized domain." ??????? *grumble mumble*

I will try at the office and see what happens and if it works there then I will write them a note.

  2. On the episodes of DOH that John directed he is credited as John R. Schneider. He wanted to make a little distinction between the actor and the director.

Also did you know that Beauregard (Bo's full name) means "nice look" in French. And BO pronounced the same way but written BEAU means handsome. Quite fitting don't you think? :D

  3. Thanks, how's the weather in Montreal? I'm in northern MN, so I imagine it's about the same, white and frozen. LOL

The weather in Montreal is insane lately. For for the past week we been caught in a January thaw. One day it went to almost 50 degrees!

We had 3 major snow storms in the past month so the melting snow caused river banks to overflow and some homes were flooded, Category 1 hurricane winds toppled electric poles, trees and a couple of trucks. Big mess.

Today it's back to normal, white and frozen like you say which is how it's supposed to be. It's 12 degrees with the wind chill. In January and February it can go down to -22F to -31F. I've seen go to -40F. With the wind chill of course. Brrr.

  4. Ciao!

I'm afraid I can't answer that question for sure. I would assume it was on a set because later episodes were filmed in Hollywood.

However early episodes were filmed in Covington, Georgia. Look for the OFFICIAL

JON HOLLAND DUKES HISTORIAN WEBSITE. He has plenty of before and after pictures of the actual filming sites and directions to get there. :) You can look at production pictures.

Hey there! Montreal here too! The snow removal business is in full swing this year huh? LOL! Welcome!

I hope you find your charger. I saw a car painted like the General here but not the real deal.

For the record (if I haven't already said so) I drive 2007 Ford Focus. Good engine, great handling and not too expensive. I bought it used.

  6. Fords are crap.

Hey now, I drive a Ford. LOL The Escort was very reliable. Had for 10 years and I still see plenty of the older models on the street. I have a 2007 Focus now. So far so good. Great handling. The first couple of years the Focus' were crap true. This year so many Mazda3 owners got "lemony" cars they are considering suing.

But I disgress sorry, this topic is about Knight Rider.

  7. All I know is that it will air on February 17th on NBC.

According to the TV Times KITT is a Mustang Shelby thanks to a new marketing alliance between NBC and FORD. It's always about $$$.

I will admit that it is a really good looking car but I liked the old KITT. I never like it when they change things. Remakes and sequels are never as good.

I enjoyed that show. I will watch the movie if it airs on a Canadian channel just out of curiosity.

  8. Like Laura Duke said it was probably a one time deal.

I'm no expert in filmmaking but in a documentary I once watched about it, it was explained that dialogue is recorded while filming but sometimes part of it doesn't come out nicely because of background noise for example. The actors go in the recording studio and record the lines that got messed up.

I guess Peggy couldn't go to the recording session for a reason and they asked John at the last minute.

  9. Vehicle I drive, got four legs and neighs!! lol I ride my horse mostly... I aint old enough to rip up the roads yet sos I get the next best thing, my horse!!! I live on a mountain so its better in the winter time too saves a whooole lotta gas!

Ohh you're so lucky to ride a horse! I would love to go riding. It looks like so much fun. When I was little I rode a pony at the zoo (like a merry-go-round but but live animals) and I loved so much. I could have stayed on it all day. LOL

Right now I have a 2007 Ford Focus. Bright red.

  10. I read it in Byron's Group. Usually he posts in the Dukes Day forum which is an extension of the Canadian Dukes Fan Club website and official forum. It has information about the annual Dukes Days in Canada in which some cast members participate including Byron.

    http://tv.groups.yahoo.com/group/Byron_Cherry_aka_COY_DUKE/?yguid=209957574

I don't know if Byron participates in the official forum though. My membership is still pending but the owner usually carries news and important messages from one site to the other.

  11. Starting a thread for Dukesfest 2008 to share news and stuff.

    Me first:

Byron Cherry posted on a Yahoo group that John was filming near his home and invited him over to hang out. They hugged for the first time in 25 years and had a blast and thus it is official Byron a.k.a. Coy Duke will be at Dukesfest 2008.

He goes on to say that if anyone has any Duke related questions you can e-mail him and he'll be more than happy to answer.
