As the lack of sleep and the stress of everything going on around him started to kick in more, Bo lost more and more focus on where he was and what he was doing. He could see the truck but couldn\'t figure out why he was heading there....then all of a sudden...the ground seemed to disappear beneath his feet as he tripped on the step up to the sidewalk. He plummetted to the hard concrete below from his 6\'4 height, his head crashing to the ground and plummeting him into the darkness his body had craved as blood trickled from his head to the sidewalk.

Bo nodded as he heard Luke\'s soft call, having heard the cars as well. Quietly he left the room and glanced out the window Luke had done a double take at, grinning as he saw Daisy. \"Well look it....Bo Peep\'s come home..\" He said with a chuckle, heading to the door behind Sammy. Daisy pulled back from the hug with a smile up at him, as dazzaling as ever. Her eyes still shone with youthful energy and she hadn\'t grown any the less beautiful in her time away from Hazzard. Her long legs still carried on forever and she was still as feisty as when she had left. Years of working behind the bar at the Boar\'s Nest and living with the boys had given her that edge. \"I\'m great Enos, how bout you? How\'s LA been treating ya?!\"
-
At the moment Enos did, Daisy also pulled up, parking her car in the usual spot having opted for the more comfortable ride instead of her bike to take the trip home. Smiling she got out and jogged over to Enos\' car. \"Enos!\"

Bo quietly stepped into TJ\'s room, smiling as he saw his little boy curled up with his favourite stuffed animal - his monkey that Luke had brought for him when he was just a little baby - sucking on his thumb with a contented peaceful look on his face. His blonde hair was splayed over the pillow under his head. Bo couldn\'t help but smile at his son while he slept, he was such a joy to be around and have in his life...it was times like this he thought he had to be the luckiest father in the world.
-
"Thank ya...now lets get cleaned up...i'll go check on TJ and Abi..." he said before quickly making his way out the room to avoid more grilling from Luke. He knew he would get it again sometime before the day was out, and if Cassie showed up things were bound to spill over...but for now he just wanted to chill out some more, relax and calm down to the point where just thinking about the words didn't make him angry.
-
Bo nodded with a small wave and headed out the hospital again, scrubbing a hand across his eyes as he walked, heading for the Jeep.
-
"Luke it dont matter alright, its sorted and over with now so please just leave it...." He wasn't about to turn round and say no she said a ton of stuff about you...as far as he was concerned he wasn't lying. She did say something to him...just not about him.
-
Bo sighed, he should have know Luke would have heard...sometimes he swore Luke had Super hearing...like Superman or something. "It don't matter...we best get tidyed up some if Enos is coming to dinner and you know Daisy is gonna turn up sometime soon..."

Another what episode is this question ;-)
BoJamesDuke replied to Darkrin's topic in Dukes of Hazzard Episodes
Hey, the only other one I can think of where Bo is leaving for somewhere in the beginning on his own if the much loved on hnet My Son, Bo Hogg. He's leaving to go hunting in the beginning. I know Daisy and Luke work together a lot in that one, I dont know that they chase Cooter's tow truck but I know they chase the sherriff's car and I think Daisy's wearing a stripy top of some kind...red and white it might have been...check it out. Its the closest one I can think of off the top of my head that fits your description. -
Bo sighed and nodded softly, muttering to himself. "I sure did alright..." He hadn't meant Luke to hear it and he didnt know if his older cousin had, a bitter tone to his whispered words as the words she had spoken replayed in her head over and over agian, bringing his always close to the surfact temper bubbling back up again. Daisy sighed as she finally crossed the county line into Hazzard County...her home. She'd been away a long time doing what she had to at college, and now she was home for a break and she couldn't wait to get there. She missed her cousins, her friends and she couldn't wait to catch up with them all again.

For a long while Bo just stood there, comforting his older cousin and wishing to himself that Luke would stop being this miserable, broken down guy and return to being his confident older cousin. He loved Luke, he really did, but sometimes the weight of having to keep constantly picking Luke up and drying his tears was getting to his nerves. He'd never tell Luke of course, he couldn't leave Luke with no one to talk to. But it hadn't been days since Sara had passed, hadn't been months....it was years...around 5 years. He had expected grief, the doctors had expected grief...but no one had anticipated that Luke would stay stuck in it. In all truth it wasn't doing great things with Abi either. Abi loved her father so would never say anything to upset him, even she knew that at only 5 years old. But she'd come to Uncle Bo, or Auntie Sammy, and ask them the questions she couldn't ask her dad. Like he had told Cassie, that was hard to deal with too, especially when she asked why her Daddy was always sad, why he wasn't like other Daddy's who seemed to be happy all the time.
-
Sammy watched them from the corner of her eye with a small smile as she continued to make the dinner. She knew how close they were, it was something she had grown to live with, something she had had to accept right from the word go. You couldn't have one Duke Boy without the other....no matter how big they had grown that was something that never changed.
-
Bo sighed softly and held Luke a little closer, giving him all the comfort he could.
-
Bo shook his head and forced himself to stand up straight, blinking a little. "No, I need t'get back to the farm...I got too much stuff to do before bed. Just...look after Luke...i'll get back tomorrow at some point..."
-
"Yeah I know...but there are other guys who go through it too...dont just happen to you. Your not alone in your grief Luke....but you have to let her go Luke, you have to otherwise this is gonna drive you crazy. You can want her back all you like, you already know it can never happen...but there's some of Sara living on in Abi..." He said softly.
-
Bo nodded a little a he leant on the desk for support, scrubbing a hand down his face. "Yeah Luke....Luke's sleepin so m'gonna...head urm...head for uh...head for home..."
-
Bo shook his head, "Don't be sorry Luke, at least your talking about it and not keeping it all bottled up. Means I know what I need to do to help you to a degree..."
-
Bo smiled as much as he could manage back as somehow he stumbled down the hallway. The sitting down in the silence had made him sleepier than ever. "Hi..."
-
Bo sighed softly and squeezed his shoulders softly with his arm, shaking his head. "No one ever knows why these things happen Luke...they just do...I mean we all can't live forever, that's undeniable...some people are taken earlier than others through no fault of there own...its just life...some people sure don't deserve it and we know that better than anyone...but as hard as it is to accept, you have to accept it sometime...you'll never stop missing her, I know that....but she wouldn't want you to live like this...she wouldn't want you to not be able to mention her name because you miss her. She'd want you to move on with your life, with Abi, and remember the good times you had with each other..."
-
Bo swallowed softly as he looked back at his cousin, it hurt him to see him so upset and the worst thing was the fact that he was this upset nearly all the time. He couldn't mention Sara's name without tears being shed, he couldn't even think about her without clinging to Abi like his lifeline...he couldn't look at his own daughter without thinking about Sara...and so the cycle kept going on and on and on. He wanted Luke to be better and stop being so depressed more than Cassie did, but breaking him or taking him down to the very bottom....that was what had got him so mad. Luke was already there, he'd been there ever since Sara had passed on...he just didn't understand how Cassie could think like that. Removing his hands from the ice, the painkillers having kicked in some now, he headed over to his older cousin and put an arm around his shoulders. "I know ya miss her brother...we all do..."
-
Bo nodded softly, not saying anything more on the subject but he knew Luke knew he would talk about it if Luke needed to.
-
"Thinkin bout what?" Bo asked back, he would have gone up and put his hand on Luke's shoulder but he couldn't at that moment.
-
Bo frowned a little as he saw it, asking gently. "You ok?"
