Sara smiled with a nod. "Your a family unit and I think that's really great...one...hinderance with it is that if one part of the team falls, the rest of the team cant really go anywhere with a problem...at the same time, that's also good because no family member feels left behind then....Luke knows you and Bo are there for him....he's trying to include you more and I know he feels sorry that this is taking so long...he really does want to get back with you two and just...live. There's just a lot of shadows he's gotta fight through first...."
Sara nodded gently with a small smile, squeezing her shoulder supportivly. "Its always more difficult with guys...add on top of that that they're family...sometimes its good to just get an outsiders opinion on things...all you need to do is be there for them if they need you Daisy...like with Bo just now, you just listened and tried to reason...give him things to think about. To be honest, I think Bo needs Luke to help him grieve...from what Luke tells me Bo follows his lead a lot....I think when Luke finally accepts it, Bo'll know he can have his time and both you and Luke will be there to help him..."
Sara smiled and put a gentle, friendly hand on Daisy's shoulder. "Hey...don't feel bad. I've been trained and get paid to figure these things out. If I can help your whole family by figuring these things out with Luke then great, i'll pass on advice where its needed."
"Is it...when Luke saw so many kids like him and sometimes younger lose that kind of innocence to the war? Is it so silly that he doesn't want Bo to end up that way, doesn't want Bo to know about the horrors that the big wide world can bring? Why is it so silly to want to keep hold of something that you remember and treasure so dearly, something that's been a consistent factor in a time of crisis, in times of pain, of suffering..." Sara questioned softly.
Sara nodded a little, flicking her ponytail back over her shoulder. "Well...that's not something I can help...I know a lot about people...i'm closer than family to some people because of what I know...but Luke trusts Bo more which is why he doesn't tell Bo anything...he has this idea that if he pretends Bo's innocence is still there then everything's ok..."
"Believe me...some things you just dont wanna know about people...especially those closest to you. They can change the way you see them completly and the reason those people dont tell you what's been going on is because of that. They dont wanna be seen or treated differently.,..they just want to get on with their lives..."
"Yeah...it's good that your all so close...it has its advantages...you just gotta remember that sometimes what you think is best for them may not be the best at all...you've gotta listen to each other, and tell each other you need something..."
"Well...I could see what I can do...got no guarentee that i'll be able t'talk to him about it though...a lot of family members see a therapist as someone just for the patient...that we listen to their problems so we dont need to listen to others.."
Sara nodded again. "Yeah...and because Luke's afraid to let people go and not be in control...he doesn't exactly give Bo room to grow away from him...and Bo's more than happy to let that be.."
Sara bit her lip gently, looking outside a moment before saying. "I'm guessing...as the youngest of the family...he's never taken responsibility for anything before...well nothing major before anyway..."
"Better than before now I think...he's unloaded a lot of stuff today, stuff I think he's needed to talk about for a long time...we've straightened some things out...gotten him thinking a bit differently about everything...so hopefully he'll be much better when he wakes up...he's still gonna have a few problems but those are things he needs to know figure out himself. I cant make him see everything..." She said with a small smile, getting her jacket.
Bo nodded a little, washing up his glass and putting it away. "Guess so, I got chores." With that, he grabbed his boots and put them on, heading outside.
"Why not? He's a man, she's a woman, he's lonley, she understands him, they've gotten to know each other pretty well over these last few months...she can make him laugh...why wouldn't he fall in love with her?" He questioned, swallowing down some water.
Bo shrugged, looking to her as he got a glass of water. "I've only ever seen the look of peace and contentment in Luke's eyes once...and that was when Candy was around..."
Bo nodded again gently, yawning lightly as he looked across the room, seeing Sara going into the bathroom and nothing but quiet coming from the bedroom.
