Daisy giggled a little at Jesse's repsonse before hugging Luke again. "And no one could ask fer a better bigger brother Luke. Don;t know what we'd do without you...besides the constant parties and sneaking out without worrying about being caught by you." She said with a grin.

Daisy smiled and hugged him close again, resting her head on his shoulder. "He's important to all of us Luke...but we all know how important he is to you...you know there is never anything you can do wrong in Bo's eyes...keep being there for him and tell him when there's something he's doing he shouldn't be an' all....but otherwise just act like everything's normal..." She smiled and sat up as she called into the kitchen cheekily, trying to lighten the mood. "Same goes to you too Uncle Jesse!"

Daisy smiled and shook her head "We're all worried hunny, but Bo is more likely to tell you if something is wrong or if he's feeling worse if you leave him be. If you try and convince him somethings seriously wrong he's only gonna try and deny it"

Daisy nodded and hugged Luke close. "Yeah I know....but until the Doc says that its serious you aint got no cause to worry and ya know Bo hates it when ya do anyhow."

Bo smiled to B.L. and Cooter, waving a little as he was helped down the hall, despite his protests that he could walk there himself just fine and he wasn't blind he didn't need to be guided. He didn't mean to be hard work it was just he wanted to get back to his life before all this had happened and having Luke and Jesse fawn over him so much was really really frustrating....at least Daisy seemed to be taking a back seat to it all. She understood how much he hated being babied... Daisy smiled to all of them, sitting beside Luke before saying. "Luke's worried because Bo has a harsh sounding cough even though the doc's told him a million times over that its perfectly normal and he'll be just fine."

Bo smiled, looking down but catching the silent messages going on between one another. Shaking his head slightly, he smiled wider before feeling another cough coming up, but not wanting to be babied so much again over it, he took the glass of water and swallowed some down to stop it before saying, slightly wheezy. "I'm a bit tired...so I'm gonna...go to bed fer a while....if that's okay with y'all..."

Bo chuckled a little agian, nodding. "Well...thanks a lot...both of y'all..."

Bo smiled back and nodded, winking a little before relaxing more into the couch. "So what you two been up to?"

Bo chuckled a little but not too much as it jerked his still sore ribs. "Guess so....ah well...."

Bo smiled back at B.L., nodding "Great, we'll....work somethin' out...later..." Daisy watched from the other side of them room, smiling. It was good to have Bo so happy and back home again....but she knew that their biggest challenge was yet to come...and that was getting Bo to take the rest he needed.

Bo looked up as the two Davenports walked in and smiled, resting back against the couch, feeling imprisoned between the two people sitting beside him. "I'm alright thanks....jus' plannin' a breakout...wanna help?" He said with a grin, gesturing to Jesse and Luke.

Bo breathed like Luke told him to, eventually managing to get the coughing fit under control. He really didn't understand where it had come from, seeing as he wasn't ill just bruised black and blue all over really. He looked up and accepted the water thankfully, but had to get Luke to help him drink it as his body was trembling so hard from the coughing fit that if he held the glass it would spill the water everywhere.

Bo sighed and thanked Luke as he was put on the couch, smiling as he was able to sit and relax in his own living room by the gentle fire in the fireplace. He had missed this so much...there were no tubes or wires here, just the love of his family and the cosiness of the farm. When Jesse and Daisy entered, he looked up and hugged Daisy as she came over to help get him settled more, but not missing the look that Jesse gave Luke. Before anything could be said, he immidiatly jumped in. "Uncle Jesse....don't be...mad at Luke...ain't fair to,...punish him....I asked him ta...go faster an'...at first he said no...but then I said somethin'...an' we stopped to talk...an' then we hd to catch up....please don't punish him Uncle Jesse....please..." He said desperatly, not wanting Luke to get in trouble because he had halped Bo to enjoy himself for the first time since the incident. He ended the speech with a harsh sounding cough, reaching for Luke blindly with his hand as he leant forward a little.

Bo stirred. not realising he had fallen asleep on the journey, smiling as he saw the farm he had missed for so many weeks after looking at nothing but the four walls of his hospital room.

Bo chuckled and nodded, looking back to the front again. He might be able to get luke out of it when they got home, he usually could. Closing his eyes he enjoyed the rest of the ride with a contented smile on his face

Bo glanced back and saw the glare Uncle Jesse had on his face, swallowing gently and noticing Daisy talking to him. "You better hope Daisy can calm....Uncle Jesse down or yer....gonna get such a switchin' when we...get back home..."

Bo looked to him and smiled a little. "Would love ta...we'll have ta make it up to the General though...he's gonna be so insulted...he looks about ready to up and die he's going so slow...."

"S'....just a cough Luke.....ain't nothing bad....Doc said it'd...be gone in a week or two....m'sorry fer scarin' ya so..." he sat back with a small sigh in his seat, smiling a little at the fact Luke had sped up a little way, but knowing that it was not only going to take himself a long time to recover from all this....but his family was going to have a long recovery ahead of them too...especially Luke.

Bo sighed and nodded "Yeah I'd fine....heck Luke...I didn't mean...fer ya ta take this so seriously....was gonna say...I's gonna die cause....everyone's gonna...smother me until I can't....breathe.....didn't expect ya ta react do badly....what's the matter Luke?"

Bo jerked forward when Luke unexpectedly slammed on the brakes, bracing himself on the dashboard but still having the seatbelt crush his sore and healing chest, making him cough a little again and wheeze. "Luke! Wh....what the...hell....are ya....try...tryin' ta do!"

Bo didn't miss the slightl 'corner of the eye' glance that Luke gave him when his coughing fit started, or the visable relaxation of his shoulder muscles when it subsided. He smiled slightly to himself before putting on a serious face and looking to Luke, swallowing a little. "Ya know....I could still die yet...."

Bo chuckled a little, coughing slightly at the end before settling back again and watching the scenery pass.

Bo smiled and nodded, saying hopefully "So yer sayin' if Uncle Jesse weren't around, there wouldn't be nothin' ta stop ya?!

Bo shrugged "I think so.....the General's never gone so slow before, there has to be somethin' wrong with him an' Dixie too...." With a small smile, he looked to Luke. "An' i know what the problem is too....I ain't some procalain doll Luke, I can handle a bit of rought drivin....."

Bo sighed and sat back, shaking his head. This was how it would be or a couple of weeks, everyone would be treating him like some percious porcelain doll that they were all too afraid to play with. He watched as the General drove ahead of them frowning a little. "Hey Luke....somethin' wrong with the General?"
