Daisy sighed softly, rubbing his back gently. "Look..don't go thinking about changing doctors or anything like that till i've talked with Jaime alright...chances are she just needs to realize a few things."

Daisy however wasn't about to leave until Luke had answered her and she had at least got him to smile a little. "Luke...did you hear me or is your selective hearing coming into play again?"

"It is so long as you don't completly ignore her and lock her out of everything...Luke you can't do this to yourself. Not only is it not right, its also not fair. I'll bet that Jaime will get a boyfriend and not give a second thought about how you might feel about her dating...and no, before you say it, that's not different at all. I'll talk with Jaime, girls are always better at communicating feelings...don't you do anything until I've spoken with her, got it?" Daisy said firmly. She knew Luke was the elder...but sometimes he needed pointing in the right direction as much as anyone else. "And i'll bet if you took this to Uncle Jesse, he'd say the same as me."

Daisy's jaw hung open for a moment as she listened to what Jaime had said before she ran a hand down her face softly and placed her hand on Luke's shoulders. "Luke...your not selfish for wanting a relationship..." She sighed a little. "Look...I know that Jaime is special to you and you to her...but that does not give her the right to wrap you round her little finger and make you feel guilty for wanting a relationship...you are going to fall in love with people and Jaime needs to accept that. You can still be there for her and be happy...you just need to help Jaime understand that no matter what happens between you and a woman, she will always come first and you will always look out for her and make her happy...invite her to be a part of it, get her to meet your girlfriend and see how they both interact...Jaime might feel better once she knows who it is she has to share you with..."

"Selfish?! What're you talkin' about, your the most least selfish person in Hazzard!" Daisy exclaimed, shaking her head. "What in the world are you on about?!"

Daisy swallowed softly, taking him by the arm and helping him sit down. "Luke...tell me..."

Daisy was tidying up when Luke walked...well more hobbled back in on his crutches and instantly noticed the torn up, dejected look on his face. "Luke...Luke what's the matter..."

Jaime swallowed hard, tears still tracing down her cheeks...great...now not only did she feel like she was losing Luke as her father but now she felt horribly guilty that she had just ruined Luke's future. She just couldn't do anything right... Shaking her head, she sobbed again and retreated back to the hayloft, burying herself deep in the hay.

Jaime cried harder, half angry half ashamed tears falling down her cheeks. "Because I don't want you to go out with anyone! I want to be selfish and have you all to myself instead of having to share you and risk losing the only father figure i've ever had to someone else....I'm a spoilt little brat for thinking it but I don't care! That's how I feel!"

Jaime spun round, tears flowing. "No, its not that I don't think you should date her, you seem perfect for each other....its the fact I don't WANT you to date her..."

Jaime didn't say anything but the tears did start to fall slowly down her cheeks again.

Jaime turned away folding her arms. "Why don't you just save us all the trouble an' go back to your girlfriend, let me start plannin' the rest of my life..."

Jaime very nearly came out with the retort 'What does it matter to you' but managed to hold it back and gave a shrug instead.

Eventually Jaime pulled away and stayed looking at the ground, her long hair covering her face gently as she muttered. "You should be in bed..."

Jaime hugged into him a little but her heart wasn't in it and she didn't answer.

Jaime bit her lp a little, knowing that Luke would try and climb the ladder with a bad foot to get to her and she didn't want to get yelled at again. Hesitantly, she climbed down the ladder, tear tracks on her cheeks.

Jaime sniffed hard, shaking her head even though Luke couldn't see. "I don't wanna talk right now Daddy.."

Jaime jerked from her sleep in the hay, hearing Luke calling to her. She swallowed hard and stayed quiet, not wanting to talk to him right now in case she did what she had done with Bo and push him away evern further.

Daisy sighed and shook her head. "Fine but you'll feel Bo's wrath when he gets back...I think him an' Jaime had a bit of an argument...she's been out in the barn since she got back from visitin' you...well bar school o'course..."

Daisy looked up from the book she was reading in the lounge when she heard a noise and shook her head a little with a smile, getting up to greet him. "Luke your awake! But your gonna have to turn round an' get back inta bed...Bo's instructions from the doctors were to keep you off that foot for a few days..."

Daisy sighed as she watched Bo storm out the barn and drive away, back to the hospital but for what, her and Uncle Jesse hadn't had the time to enquire. They could always ask Luke when they woke up. She looked to Jesse as she bit her lip, knowing there was something strange going on with Jaime, and if Bo couldn't handle what Jaime was saying then she knew it was something to do with Luke and Luke was probably the only person who could right whatever wrong was going through Jaime's mind.

Bo headed back to the General Lee, sliding into the driver's side and heading back to the hospital as he had promised Troy he would.

"Gladly...I didn't realize what a spoled brat you had become recently..." He replied before heading down the ladder, perfectly content to let Jaime stay in the barn and be that way.

Bo shook his head. "Just so you know, i'm the Master of the silent treatment so I know how it works. It ain't gonna affect me none."

Bo frowned and said sternly "Jaime that is quite enough of that...i'll have you know that Luke ain't been this happy in years before you came along...so he's found a girlfriend, that aint uncommon with me an' Luke....you need to do some serious growin' up young lady because the fact is Luke can't go through life just devoting himself to you and what you want, although I know if you asked him to he would."
