It's been a long time but I've never given up the search. I've learned that much of the steel guitar in the series was played by JD Maness. I was able to contact Mr. Maness a couple years ago and he confirmed that he played much of the music but he did not think any of it was ever released. Since then, I have been looking into recreating the track by trying to hire instrumental artists through fiverr.com. However I cannot find anyone skilled enough to even attempt the steel guitar part. I'd appreciate any advice or leads on the original track. If I somehow get a good version of this, I will definitely post it here. John
