1hellraiser
Ok, crew we need to settle the air, on the best car movie of all time. Truckers movies are included. My vote goes for the return to macon county, with nick nolte, and don johnson.
Jamanda
We'll have to stick with Smokey and the Bandit, as we haven't seen a whole lot of others and it had Burt Reynolds in it as well as Ben Jones, Sonny Shroyer, and (rumored) John Schnieder. Capt_Redneck
Yep....Smokey & The Bandit is my #1 choice ..Although #2 is a tie between Bullit - Steve McQueen and Dazed & Confused - awesome cars in that movie, 70 Chevelle SS , Pontiac GTOThe Judge" , El Camino, etc... Officer Barbrady
Most of my favorite car ones happen to be Burt Reynolds flicks: Smokey and the Bandit, Stroker Ace and The Cannonball Run
chrysler76
last week, just the night before i finished working on my car and making it ready for the road again, i was watching American Graffiti wich i haven´t seen in a while just to get me in the right mood for cruisin around town the night after. and i guess i have to go for that movie. for me just the best car movie ever. falfas ´55 is awsome! funny fact, if you watch the synchronised german version, there are 3 parts of the movie wich are simply not synchronised and people speakin´ english... anyhow, i rather watch the original version - the engines sound better greets, chrysler

EvilErnie13
I've always love Smokey and the Bandit, but my other favorite racing movies are Days of Thunder, followed by Gone in 60 Seconds (with the exception of the flying Mustang!), The Transporter, and finally Ronin. It has one of the best car chase scenes ever!Other people had it so I wasn't going to add it. That was until I realized I needed the Duke fans to know I love that film.
