Dixie Lee_01
The very first time I heard this song by Garth Brooks, and every time since, I can't think of *anyone* who it belongs to better than Luke and Bo.You 'n I, we're buddiesAnd we've been since we first metAnd me 'n you, well we've sure been throughOur share of laughter and regretLord knows we've had our bad daysAnd more than once we've disagreedBut you've always beenA friend to meYou can be so stubbornThere's times I think you just like to fightI hope and pray I'll live to see the dayWhen you'd say I might be rightAnd there's times I'd rather kill youThan listen to your honestyBut you've always beenA friend to meYou've always beenTime and againThe one to take my handShowing meIt's okay to beJust the way I amWith no apologyOh, you've always beenAnd you will till God knows whenYes, you've always beenA friend to me

Dixie Lee_01
Through the Hazzard grapevine, the information has finally trickled down to me.... lol. The song is apparently from 1997, on the album "Sevens". Not that *I* know much of what that is... heh. But there ya go.

Chet Duke
Hey ya'll, I havent been around the actually boards in probably little over a month now, just been busy. Im sorry, had I been around I could have answered all the Garth Brooks questions you need answered. Ive followed Garth and his music from true day one, if anyone has any questions about him or his music I have information coming out my ears. Man, i can even tell you the brand of boots he wears and where he gets those awesome cowboy shirts. LMAO Yes "A friend to me" is off Sevens. Its actaully the one song on the album that almost didnt make the cut. Garth found it only days before the album was completed. Its a great song... ~Dee
