So was Cooter's Garage built between "High Octane" and "Swamp Molly" or did he buy it between those episodes?

I wonder that too- the building is clearly very old, so I figure he moved the business to there sometime around Swamp Molly.

Don't forget it's the Hazzard Garage and in the first time we see him there it looks like he's working there instead of owning it.

Good point- he may have taken over for the previous mechanic and made it his own.  Cooter was fairly young at that point, and it was established that he had a lot of wild and roudy years prior so he couldn't have been Hazzards top mechanic for very long at the start of the series.

L.B. and B.B. Davenport just filled in when Cooter was 'out of town'- it was only for a few episodes each I believe.
