We both went for the right season. My first thought was 'Diamonds in the Rough' when Rosco's electronic speed sign messes with the electrics at the Boar's Nest. In that scene all the electric devices start spewing out money, although a huge amount of popcorn gets thrown in the air. By the time I'd checked out that scene, someone on the FaceBook page had correctly named 'Miz Tisdale on the Lam' as the episode with the misbehaving popcorn machine.
