December 2, 201114 yr Just got word that Sonny Shroyer, "Deputy Enos Strate" will be a special guest in the annual Covington Christmas parade this Saturday, Dec 3rd. He'll be joined by a General Lee replica and a Hazzard County patrol car replica. The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. on Newton Drive, goes down Anderson Street to the town square, then down to Monticello street, then....aw heck, get to Covington, Georgia, and the rest is easy. Sonny will be appearing in his deputy duds for the parade. Afterwards, he'll be at the Covington-Newton County Visitor's Center from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., to sign autographs, take pictures, and charm all the ladies.

December 6, 201114 yr Great pics from the parade! I think Sonny needs a new hat tho'... LOLLOL! These are great pics!!! I wasnt able to attend the parade with him and Paula, but Sonny did say they had a fantastic time!Im gonna let them know tomorrow that you guys already have found these pics and have them posted.And for the hat - That hat folks is one of his ORIGINAL hats from The Dukes (and The Enos Show.) Jimmy has his Rosco pistol and Sonny has his hat! LOL! Great guys! This is awesome!
December 6, 201114 yr Hey guys! I just spoke with Sonny! He says the hat was damaged when he fell out of a tree when he was keeping an eye on the Duke boys and Daisy walked out of the farm house and started to put her unmentionables on the clothes line!He also thanks all of you for your continued support and God Bless.
