November 20, 201114 yr Author We started the teardown prepwork. Heated and freed the hubs from the brakes. Daisy Duke was there supervising. Rolled the project car off the trialer onto the carport awning.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-GOVKQfbFw
November 20, 201114 yr Author We removed the front and rear seats. Vacuumed out the decrepid interior. Took the torch to the rotten floor panels. If unused will probably post the 4-Speed Shifter Tunnel Hump on eBay.

November 20, 201114 yr Author More than likely the 2008 Bodyhull (with title), Interior, Rims and leftovers will be resold. The sticker says it was a Department of Defense car ... photo or it never happened right?
November 20, 201114 yr Author Here is a quick snap shot via the cell phone of the 1969 and 2008 clusters for comparison. With a few mods the MPH & RPM will work - the other four gauges can be aftermarket.
November 21, 201114 yr You have a lot of work ahead of you, but you're making amazing progress already. They did something similar on the first season of 'Street Customs' ('Custom My Ride' in the UK) when they fitted a '68 Charger body to a new Charger chassis for actor Gary Dourdan (see below). It was a nice idea, but I can't say I share his taste in cars. If it were mine I'd change the wheels and the color. It also had the interior from the new car which just looked wrong. It looks like you're going down the path I'd choose if I had the money and skill to attempt a project like this. That 2008 floorpan looks a bit more solid than the 1969 one . Keep up the good work.
November 28, 201114 yr Author Just a quick video update of the past few weeks:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWRpcSuEXag
May 1, 201214 yr I can't wait until the finished car is revealed. Is that a 4 wheel drive Delorian in the back of your shed? Cheers Brad
