Meaning they can take from the show what they like and toss the rest. We'll see how it turns out. I'm inclined not to believe this movie is going to make me happy since I was a diehard fan of the original series, but I'll watch it anyway. I just don't want to walk out of the movie angry. Liberal, uncreative Hollywood has become even more of a pathetic joke than it even was 5 years ago. I don't mind seeing the General Lee in action again, but yeah.. I won't be satisfied or happy with the finished product. That's for damn sure. But what can ya do.. I mean I guess I could not go see the movie. Chrispro75439 Posted January 26, 2005 Report Share Posted January 26, 2005 What i am intrested in what Willie Nelson will look like as Uncle Jesse and what is Burt reynolds look like as Boss Hogg, any one have a clue? i think that Danny Devieto would have been a better pick for Boss Hogg, but it is even harder to replace Uncle Jesse. More important than the look is going to be the character. Jessie was the heart of the Dukes! If he is not brought out in this film as the righteous man he was... then the movie is doomed!!!
