A Normal Day in Hazzard

Narrator: Tonight on the Dukes, Bo gets into a wreck, Luke & Mary Lou make it official, Boss has something planned for the Dukes and Vanessa Carlton gets caught in Boss's celebrity speed trap.

Vanessa Carlton: "Heroes and theives at my door."

(Dukes intro)

Balladeer: It was one of those peaceful mornings in Hazzard County where it seems nothing can go wrong. But today is one day that somethin' can go wrong that involves the Dukes.

(In the General Lee)

Daisy(on the CB): Bo, Luke, y'all got your ears on?

Luke: We got ya, Daisy. What's up?

Daisy: I'm at the Boar's Nest and I'm closin' early and I need a ride.

Luke: We are on our way.

Bo: Yee-haw!

(Arrive at the Boar's Nest)

Luke: How you doin', Daisy?

Daisy: Real good.

Bo: Where's your car?

Daisy: At Cooter's.

(Back in town)

*driving down the road*

Luke looks back through the mirrors, "We got company, again,Bo."

Bo:Rosco, dang it! whats he want?"

Daisy:Does he ever have a reason to chase ya'll.

Luke:Got a point*laughs*

*comes to the pond*

Bo:sure is ashame to see Rosco take a bath soo early in the day aint it Luke?

Luke:keep yer eyes on the road Bo!!

Bo:alright alright!!! *jumps the pond* YEEEHAWW!!!!

Rosco goes fer a swim!

Cooter:hey ya'll, Hey daisy got yer jeep runnin' runs like a dream now.

(Mary Lou pulls up)

Mary Lou: Bo! Luke! Daisy!

Daisy: Mary Lou!

"How you doing, Mary Lou?" said Luke, thinkin' about when she kissed him.

"Great, Luke" replied Mary Lou.

Bo: Hey Mary Lou, want to go back to the farm with us?

Mary Lou: Sure.

(Luke & Mary Lou get in the General Lee and Bo & Daisy get in her jeep)

Daisy:boy, Bo, they sure are inlove aint they??

Bo:sure are, im happy fer him really, I just hope he doesnt get hurt, I dont want him to take things too fast.

Daisy"Bo Duke, now you listen to me, Luke's a grown man he'll take care of hisself!"

Bo:Ok Ok easy cousin!!

*pulls into the farm*

Daisy:Uncle Jesse we're back!!!

Uncle Jesse:great, just in time to help me with supper!! Bo that pile o' wood needs tendin to, and Lu..... oh hey there Mary Lou, How ya been?

Mary Lou:good Uncle Jesse, thanks fer asking

Luke:Uncle Jesse, Im gonna take Mary Lou on a walk, that alright?

Uncle Jesse:Be back fer suppertime!!

Luke:We will *taks her hand* c'mon!

Mary Lou: Ever since I left Hazzard County, I've been thinkin' about you.

Luke:Mary Lou, I want to take things slwo with you, but im afraid if I take things too slow, that it will screw everything that we ever had or ever will have up and darlin I dont want that."

Mary Lou,"Luke no one's perfect, I expect you to make mistakes and I dont care how slow we go, I mg oona make mistakes too, we have to trust eaxch other that they wont be tooo big of mistakes.

Luke:yea,*kisses her*

Mary Lou:*kisses back*

Rosco:*pops out from the weeds* I caught ya I caught ya fer sure now!!!

Luke:Mary Lou, run!

Mary lou:*turns and runs*

Luke:*stpes infront of Rosco* hows flash doing Rosco!!

Mary Lou*gets in the general lee to get Luke*

*dixie horn*

Rosco"kee kee!!!

Luke:Bye Rosco!!!!!

*sails through the window*

Luke:Drive sweetheart, drive!!!!

Mary Lou:I AM!!!!!

Rosco: I'm gonna get Luke & Mary Lou.

(in the General Lee)

Mary Lou: Better hang on, Luke.

Luke: I will.

(Jumps the General Lee over the pond)

Rosco: Oooooo, hang on, Flash.

(Rosco lands in the pond)

Balladeer: Right into the Hazzard County car wash.

Mary Lou;Yee haw! that makes about the second time today aint it?"

Luke:*laughs*yea, Hey why don't we go to lovers rock fer awhile, wont too?

Mary Lou:sure!

*drives to lover's rock*

Luke helps her out of the general and holds her hand.

Luke:Mary Lou, member when I first brung ya here not too long ago?

Mary Lou:how could I forget?

Luke:laughs,*wraps his arms around her resting his head ontop of hers*

Mary Lou:Luke, how do you really, feel about me? am I like all the other girls you've dated or am I different?

Luke looked down to her and sweetly replied,"They don't come close to even being like you darlin'. yer quite different than the rest!"

Mary Lou smiled and reached up to kiss him.

Rosco, meanwhile had been towed out, again, and headed for Mary Lou's uncle's house to check some things out. What he saw was two men down deep in the basement, talking amongst themselves. "Yea it sure was great of her to let us stay here."

Rosco, unaware of the rest of the conversation thought they were talking about Mary Lou, Rosco got up and headed for his patrol car. he pulled out and headed to tell boss.

Luke and Mary Lou meanwhile were still at Lover's Rock, enjoying theirselves. Luke loved Mary Lou with every breath in him and went down on one knee,"Mary Lou, you ARE different than ,most girls will you marry me?"

It was Luke's mother's ring that he used, Mary Lou, with a tear in her eye nodded yes and Luke placed the ring on her finger getting up to kiss her.
