Skipper Duke Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Mind-blowing reading experience alert! 🤯 When I read Gordon Korman's Titanic Book series, I don't just imagine the characters - I see and hear the James Cameron movie cast! 😍 Bernard Hill as Captain Smith, Jonny Phillips as Lightoller, Kathy Bates as Molly Brown... it's like the movie's playing in my head! 🎬 This happens with other books too! Stephen King's Christine = John Carpenter's cast (Keith Gordon as Arnie, John Stockwell as Dennis...), and James McLendon's Eddie Macon's Run = Jeff Kanew's crew (John Schneider as Eddie, Kirk Douglas as Marzack...). I even hear the movie soundtracks! 😂 When Christine kills Moochie, I hear "Little Bitty Pretty One" 🤘.
