My Theater Update.

Remember that murder mystery I was mentioned in a the Tom Wopat forum I was directing?

Well, it was a HUGE hit. Our acting troupe was actually HIRED to perform two more this year. Being hired out is a first for our club.

As this that ain't enough, I've been chosen to be the tech director/stage manager of our big performance of Comedy of Errors early next year.

So I'm probably thinking by Feb, I'm going to be completly insane. But I love the theater. 8)

We're planning to do a musical next. Not sure which one yet but it's going to be in March!

Egads, Shakespeare is difficult enough, I couldn't imagine trying to pull off a musical in the time and budget we have.

That's a lot of hard work - but it's fun! I did some in college, mostly stage manager....my first was a musical...I must have been nuts! But had a blast.

And congrats on the paying gig! Good luck!

Oh goodness, Shakespeare. We once did small selections from most of his pieces and wow that was difficult trying to de-code everything.lol.
