pendragon1980
I didn't realize until today the musical Chicago is coming to the Benendem Center in Pittsburgh next week. That's a no lose situation, I love live theater, Chicago is one of my favorite musicals AND Tom Wopat. And for twently bucks for the peanut gallery tickets, ya'll know I'll be there. Maybe I can convince him to come perform at our community college theater where I'm Vice President of the Theater Guild. Yeah right. pendragon1980
Unfortunatly, the show was sold out by the time I called. But always glad to find another theater lover. Do you work stage at all? Acting or tech?
HotHillbilly
Well I'm still in school, but I do do preformances. Actually on Sept. 22nd I might try out for the 30th anniversary of The Music Man. *yikes* lol. I'm also in a murder-myster show, should be interesting!! pendragon1980
Brave soul. I only do backstage and tech. Lights, curtains, that sort of thing. Although this year I'm trying my hands at producing a couple of shows ...one of which, ironically enough, is an interactive murder mystery. HotHillbilly
Woo. Well good luck with that. I've done my handful of backstage help myself. Mainly props, painting, coutsumes, script adjustments and all.. lights and music get way to technical for me.lol. I've also played accomp. on the piano. We haven't auditioned for parts yet, but we're doing a play called "sorry, wrong number" and "the hitch hiker" both have murders and ghost themes.. on account of halloween comin' up...Good luck with your producin'!!! DaneyDuke
As some are aware Tom is touring with Chicago again this year... and there was talk of adding some dates to the schedule, and the last one Tom might be in being Pittsburgh.
