What episode was that in? Sounds pretty wild. :)

In response to your question, I love Family Guy! I make it a point to switch to Adult Swim when Dukes goes into the commercial breaks.

One of my favorite Family Guy episodes is where the Griffins move to Georgia after Chris is placed in witness protection. Peter and Brian proceed to paint the family wagon to resemble the General Lee (though the paint and the 01 type is different).

The episode is chock full of Dukes references:

1) Peter tells Brian they can only go through the window. Peter is somehow able to fly through it in a single jump, but unfortunately he forgot to roll down Brian's window.

2) Peter and Brian discover a haybale-laden truck to jump over. Cue bluegrass music, guy waving his arms, and a loud "Yeee-haaaw!" This precedes a conversation I quote frequently.

Peter: "Yeah, that was great! Next time let's get Meg to be Boss Hogg and Chris to be Anus!"

Brian: "Enos!"

Peter: "What'd I say?"

Brian: "Anus."

Peter: "Ah hah hah hah!"

3) On the original FOX broadcast, also on the DVDs, Peter and Brian must escape a group of angry Confederate vets. The duo immediately jump into the General Wagon, with Brian doing a hood slide worthy of Luke Duke.

4) During said chase, the General Wagon drives off a hill. Cue the freeze frame, and the immortal Balladeer himself:

Balladeer: "Looks like them Griffin boys are going to have to grow some wings...or start flapping their arms!" (NOTE: Waylon Jennings' last role before he passed on was reprising the Balladeer.)

In Dukes fashion, we return from commercials with the GW making a safe landing.

Just truly inane, hysterical stuff.

It's the episode where they celebrate Stewie's first birthday, it's called "Chitty Chitty Death Bang". I have to check out the episode you mentiond, sounds hilarious =)

Now I know which episode! Peter loses the watch in the stuffed animal crane machine at Cheesey Charlie's. Bonus points to the freeze frame of Peter and the kid fighting over the watch.

This show, Robot Chicken and South Park have done a fine job of saluting the Dukes in their own twisted fashions.

Third season. =) The Freakin' Sweet Collection has "To Live and Die in Dixie", also Family Guy volume 2. One of the better Family Guy episodes, imo.
