August 8, 200521 yr Could some one give me as many pictures of the general lee before he was fixed by cooter in the movie? I need them to make an accurate model of that version of the general. I would really appreciate it. thanks. Oh ya i almost forgot that was the best movie I have ever seen!

August 8, 200521 yr Author I remember seeing a while back a post with a picture of that original general lee from the beginning of the movie and nobody knew wat it was about especially with those round #s on it. If somebody can point out that post that would be good too.

August 11, 200521 yr Author thanx i also remember though that the general had a yellow stain on the passenger side front fender so that helps.

October 8, 200520 yr Author I have finally finished my model of the General Lee from the opening scene of the movie. I will take pictures soon but I want to note a few things. First everything came out perfect except the 01 could have been a little better but oh well. Also I faked a 727 auto on the center console shifter by using an extra shifer that came with my Dodge Daytona model. Also I painted the interior black because it appeared that way in the begining of the movie. I left the roll cage out because it came out really bad and finally I made a liscence plate and mounted it on the rear bumber liscence plate holder. All in all I am very happy with this model and I hope you like it.
