  1. Too bad the media can't go one freakin' day without Simpson being in a magazine or on the freakin' TV!!!! GAAAAAAAH!!!

Yeah, it's as if she's saying "Please pay attention to ME!!!" But she's really not interesting. Nothing more than an average looking girl who acts like a celebrity....and it works! She announced to the world that she got the role of Daisy long before she did. That really put the pressure on the studio to cast her in a role that I think they knew she was all wrong for. An average looking country star, maybe. Average looking pop star, um no.

  3. Rumor has it that the door won't be welded, but broken, because they apparently think that safety isn't enough of a reason to weld doors. Although I hope this has been just a rumor or it's been fixed.

I do like the idea of a freeze frame voice over incorporated in there. And that's about the only way to do it.

  5. My guess for Cage 9 is that it's because they didn't record their song for the movie. And I think it only appears in the trailer, not in the film.

    From their website:

"...we did the cover song as a joke, and lo-and-behold, they sent us a check...haha. We covered the theme song, which is originally by Waylon Jennings and 100% country, and just tried to rock it up a bit for fun. Think White Stripes meets Foo Fighters meets...well, Waylon Jennings. We recorded it LIVE in our jam room, probably spent around 5-6 hours just monkeying around with it, mixed it down in my ProTools rig and viola! So what you hear in that movie trailer is just us, jammin' out on something you'd otherwise NEVER hear us playing...kinda' bizarre, but in a good way...haha."

  7. As I understand it, it is the college that wants the flag removed. MTV had two potential locations, with the college being their first choice. This is the exact location of the first jump, you know "...fightin' the system like a true modern-day Robin Hood..Yeeha!" THAT jump, that exact location.

I'm not sure of MTV's stance on the issue (I think CMT is owned by MTV, anyway), but it's the college that 26 years ago didn't mind having that car fly over Rosco.
