Elly May Duke

Finally it comes and Daisy and Luke head back toward the farm.

Alan: What do you mean?

Daisy: Fine i suppose. Enos ain't getting no sleep tho. I think he's worrying about all of us right now.

They finish breakfast and head off for school.

Alan: I trust these people. I really do, but do you think I ought to call Josh and Randy? Don't know that Randy would be much help though, but I know that Miranda and Blake would.

Jesse: Luke, now you leave Daisy alone.

Alan: Me either, but if this gets bad enough we might have to call Josh and Randy if just for back up. I don't feel so good about what's happening here.

Elly: manny you better not take advantage of my cousin or I'll have to hurt you.

Luke: *grins* Daisy: What? Luke: You want to see Enos after school don't you?

Reba: okay Alan: Wait . . .taylor, how are we going to get back to where we needed to be and all for next week? And what about that Boss fella that Daisy was talking about?

Uncle Jesse sings it for them and then it's off to bed. The next morning Daisy,and Luke got ready for school again.

Elly: Well . . .I could do it, but not very much. I don't reckon kayle would mind would she? course then what about Ashley and Chad?

Alan: Mine was like that too. Reba: hey y'all. Wanna practice with my band?

Daisy: Well . . .Bo should pick it tonight.

Alan: How?

Elly: okay. I could see how a bit of money would do you some good. Well I'll help with the babies if you need me to. Who ya gonna get to watch them?

the boys shrugg and Daisy heads on ito the house to help Uncle Jesse.

Elly: Really, Daisy. You don't have to. I know how much you and Enos are dealing with right now.

Bo and Luke: Don't worry we will.

Elly: hey Daisy. Bo was just explaining some of the medical deals with the kids.

Bo: Who do you think grows what we eat? Besides Uncle Jesse has a lot on his mind to worry him.

Elly: *nods* Well, Bo, while we're on the subject here. Would you mind telling me what other medical problems the kids have? I want to know so that I can research.

Bo: You see why you're hard put for that manny? The two of them are too busy and I don't know that Elly will. She has a lot to do trying to give Jenny the best that she can.

Elly: *sits down* Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt if I sat with her. How'd she not take her medicine and why does that make her unrespondent?

Bo: *nods* yeah. Okay, i'll tell them. I don't think Uncle Jesse can. Daisy might.
