Elly: *after the song is over* Well. . .I just love that song. . .the thing about him wanting her to go to church and she don't. . .getting the care he got her stolen. . .poor thing.

Martha: Want anything else?

Jesse: *shruggs* I doubt it's the same reason tho. . .I reckon I ought to take her to doc's again

Lily: I'll do all I can to protect him. . .from well whatever he needs to be protected by

Lily: Poor Andrew. . .now I see why you get so freaked out over every little thing with him

Elly: *puts it on that song and starts singing to it* She was out last night till way past ten same thing all over again, but with my best friend why'd she wanna make so mad I treat that bad woman good, lord I need a good woman bad

Martha: Okay *leads him to the table where she has a plate for him with a little bit of squash* I know you love these. . .just eat a couple bites and then you don't have to eat anymore.

Daisy: *nods then jumps up handing Macy to him and goes to the bathroom and throws up*

(kay) Elly: Well. . .that's why I put it on so ya could listen. . .wait till you hear 'Good Woman Bad'

Martha: Cooter. . .I know you don't feel like it, but could you at least eat two bites of dinner for me?

*After a little while What it Aint comes on* Elly: Seriously. . .I don't know that I know what ain't much less what it is.

Daisy: Huh? You're taking my word for it? I mean I really am warm and I don't feel good but huh?

Soon Martha has dinner ready and hesitantly wakes Cooter up

Elly: me too. . .so creepy yet cheerful at the same time.

Daisy: Uncle jesse. . .I really don't feel like school today and I think I'm coming down with something. . .I'm kinda warm

Elly: *goes and puts it on*

Jesse: I think you're gonna have to make him eat atleast a couple bites this time. . .all this really ain't good for him

The rest of the afternoon is quiet and then Jesse comes in for dinner.

Daisy: Feel better now?

Elly: Daisy. . .you mind if I put Long Black Train on?

Lily: Then why won't you tell me.

Elly: I meant Josh, but yeah Enos too. . .but just then I was talkin about Josh

Daisy: Then He and me have forgiven you.

Jesse: *pats his shoulder again* That's right son. . .now I'm going back out to the fields

Elly: *looks nervous sorry. . .I love him too much* (oh and yeah forgot you don't like sweet potatoes, but well it's not the fact that he didn't like them that's what he could've said. . .he put down all of us down in Dixie. . .with him it was more than just sweet potatoes. . .least you understand our way of living and our music and so forth. . .so you're safe)
